I was traveling through Europe for 4-6 weeks so rented a pocket WiFi. The USB cable and/or outlet adapter that came with the unit (I’m not sure which one, perhaps both) were broken so I was unable to to charge the WiFi. When I wrote to Vision Global WiFi after the first day of use, their initial responses were only to ask me if I knew how to charge the unit and question whether or not I was doing it correctly. After 3 days of ensuring them that it wasn’t user error and that it was the equipment that was faulty, I asked them to send me a new charger. The response I received was that it would be cheaper for me to go out and buy one on my own rather than them sending one. I was told to save the receipt and I would be reimbursed upon return of the unit at the end of my trip. As far as I’m concerned, this is ridiculous customer service. Not only do they not inspect their products before they’re shipped but apparently it’s the customer’s responsibility to buy equipment for it. The WiFi itself worked fine but worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time and I will not be using them again.

We purchased vision global wifi for our trip to Japan and everything was great! It was delivered on the day they promised, it was easy to use and worked perfect on our trip! I would use vision global WiFi again!!

For my business trip, I borrowed this. While I went to business trip East side, this wi-fi was no ploblem to reception. I will rent it again, if I have a chance.

I had a wonderful experience with Vision Global WiFi. I used their Verizon plan in the US (especially NYC area) and the signal was strong even inside buildings and most subway stations. Their support was great, the delivery quick and timely, the prepaid box to send the device back is easy to use and the postboxes where you can drop it are ubiquitous. It saved a lot of time in my trip, as there are public wifi but signup is not always immediate, while the pocket device is always ready and easy to operate. It also saved a lot of time to research the LTE bands supported by my phone and US carriers, which is a need: otherwise, your phone may connect to 3G or even only 2G, and that's so slow to ruin any trip. Overall, very performant and convenient, and their customer service excellent. Minor notes about the device I got: it's a bit bulky, but I guess they come locked from the carrier and cannot be replaced. It won't fit any pocket, you need big pockets or a small bag. The battery with the supplied charger takes a while to fully charge, and won't make a full day, so a power bank is advisable for anything but mild usage. I had mine, but they also provide one if requested.

Should explore to have more device return or drop off sites especially in airports such as JFK, Boston international airports. Also as we stayed in Hilton hotel at Boston Logan airport, signal was interrupted.

Overall the portable wifi hotspot was great and had little issues. The battery lasted a full day when fully charged and the speed was good. I exceeded the 500 mb threshold on some days and the speed didn't get slowed. However, there was a day where I was unable to connect which was an issue but I felt it was fair since I exceeded the threshold a couple days back. I received the portable wifi 2 days before my departure date and sending it back was very simple. They sent a postal box with the label attached so all I had to do was place the item in the box and send it back. It was a very seamless process and I would definitely use Vision Global WiFi again on my next trip but would upgrade to the 1gb plan.

i got to know the Vision Global WiFi through Amnet New York, which has been my travel agent. The unit arrived to me on time, and the returning the unit was smooth, except I had to make a trip to the post office on foot, the day I returned from a month trip. I had 5Gb unit for one month, but along the way, I got a reminder that i had reached the maximum usage. This alarmed me because I had no idea how much left. i send an email to the company. I got a prompt response describing possible options etc, but no way to find what's left. I'm wondering which plan I should choose for the next similar trip. Otherwise, I was quite satisfied with the service provided. Thanks.
