Worst people ever. I'm disabled in a bungalow and they refuse to fit a light fitting in my hallway. I'm in a wheelchair. It's pitch black and I feel so unsafe if anyone knocks my door. They forgot to put a ceiling light in when it was rewired and we've been raiding this with them for months now. I have 1 electric socket in my front room and have asked for one to be fitted in the hallway to enable me to charge my electric wheelchair. They flat refused abd said I need an OT report. You have a duty of care and if anything happens to me my husband or any visitors we will seek legal representation. Today they sent a man to change a light bulb. What a joke we have no fitting for a light bulb. SHAME ON YOU WHG They do not respect their disabled customers. They have a duty of care.

Last year gas check they didn't turn up, this year....same! I rang whg and was told my gas check was rescheduled for 2 weeks time..was anyone gonna tell me? I'd waited another 4 hours for nothing, same as previous year! Next year if WHG do this again, they are welcome to take me to court to gain access, because I will not be ringing them next time it happens, THANKS WHG, you sink lower every time! Well done. No respect whatsoever!

I had applied for a 2 bedroom house and was shortlisted for it, they asked me to provide financial documents to prove if I can afford it which I did. But instead they offered it to someone else with no clear reason. I realised that they offered it to someone else because they noticed my background which not fair. WHG is not worth even 1* as they are bias and racist housing association.

I'd like to give 0 * but there's no option.ive been having neighbour issues for 5 years, and we are on our last thread.they take months to repair anything, won't allow cctv for security and refused, and just straight up don't do a dam thing, everyone has rights for living in peace, and ive not had that in 5 yrs.cant wait to get out, would not recommend this housing. I'm taking this somewhere higher than them now.

You get charged more for a 2 bed 2nd floor flat!!! When their houses rent is cheaper!! I got a daughter who has additional needs and needs a garden to run around to have an outlet for her energy as she can't do it in a top floor flat!! The flat is too small for two of us and I've changed my circumstances and told them my daughter has a disability and they don't care!

if I could give 0 I would. over 3years I've been on whg choose and move and now they have changed " there allocation policy" apparently now I'm no longer eligible...3 years!! I've been waiting. my house is overcrowded..and online your policy still states I'm eligible yet on my account I've been kicked off.. disgusting way to treat a family who have been waiting patiently for 3years, we never complained or constantly called. we just waited for our turn. only to be kicked off. beyond disgusting. if you have a choice AVOID WHG like the plague!!!!!

If i had a choice these racists wouldnt even get half a star, they are racists by the way they talk to u when they know your name but nobody going to believe me so no point touching on that. These are worst laziest bone idle housing people ive come across, they never want to pick up the phone, they never want to help and advise, they never want to do paperwork and never want to do their jobs. First time we ever registered with their housing register we got messed about for a whole year to be told we had to sign up again because they had "technical difficulties". After that in 2021 i nearly died from covid and the property was no longer suitable, they made us beg and go through hoops and made us feel like dirt to get to the property we are in now Now my wife is very ill and this property is no longer suitable for us both and i am disabled and cannot get around this property because this property is too difficult for my wife and i to access now whg are refusing point blank that there is no properties available to us and that to go off and look on homeswapper eventhough we made a fresh application months ago and submitted an occupational therapy report which deems our current property unsuitable for us to live in, but whg refuse to put us on the register properly and refuse to aknowledge us properly.. vile people.. i have already had words about WHG to the mayors office, mp valerie vaz who has sent letter to them etc, next im going to the papers this is wrongful discrimination against race and against dissability. Vile vile people.

Make sure that you check and ensure that if you are paying a monthly maintenance charge that this is being paid to the estate company. We have lived on a new build estate for 6 years and been charged this fee as has everyone else to only be told now we are moving a company does not currently operate and this charge is not required. WHG claim to provide affordable housing but happy to SCAM residents for costs they dont pay. The estate company if and when appointed also cannot claim for any past unpaid charges as they were not in operation for that period so WHG are using this as additional funds. This should only be paid when an estate company is appointed. Make sure your new build estate has one and that it is in operation as its likely you are paying WHG extra and should be reinbursed to you.

WHG is a terrible housing association, I have been reporting the poor condition of my bedroom for more than 4 years now, but they don't care. The bedroom is quite freezing because of the poor structure. On numerous occasions they would come to put patches here and there. But also due to the poor condition of the property often moulds appear on the walls and they would come to paint over them to cover up. The property especially the bedroom is quite freezing and I have to spend so much money on heating, but yet their staff advised me to buy extra heaters. Some of WHG staff are quite arrogant as they boast by saying we can't move you to an alternative property although they know it is not fit for human inhabitant. WHG is quite happy to increase rent every year although the property is in such a poor condition of which I know none of its staff would want to live in it even for free of charge. It is such a shame for a big organisation like WHG that they don't care about the health of their tenants.

Your call answer times are a joke. I waited more than 20 minutes on Monday 19/2, and 40 minutes today 22/2. When I finally got through on Monday, my housing officer refused to take my call to discuss things. This is a joke, and sadly has always been a joke. This isn't a recent issue. You have a call back option but this is not a one size fits all. I work and cannot take calls at work so not knowing you are going to call is not a option for me. I do hope you 'record calls for training and monitoring purposes' because you need to hear how upset people are at this total lack of customer care. If you are aware that certain periods are busier than others, you need to put more staff on at those times. If you informed the caller of where they are in the queue, at least they could make an informed decision about whether to stay on hold. I've been a WHG customer for many, many years and this has always been a problem. For a company your size, this is an absolute disgrace. About time you got your act together

Very pleased all round with WHG - repairs have been quickly and correctly first time (most of them without me even asking - it was just scheduled and they did it). Phones are answered quickly by staff who know what they are talking about, fly tipping dealt with quickly and efficiently, paid services all completed. Have come from GreensquareAccord and it is night and day. I don't think those down voting having experienced a truly corrupt and evil landlord, because whg are wonderful in comparison.

I've been sat on the phone waiting to get through to someone for 45 mins so far and still no answer. The doors are closed call centre is still open so why is nobody picking up?... Dreadful online services and also faulty appointment services again through online systems being dreadful...causing confusion to the clients and the staff.

Along with others just had a bill for fitting a new roof to my Leasehold maisonette, the the total cost to replace the roof tiles only according to these cowboys is £54000, they even want to charge me nearly £800 admin charge each, thats £3000 admin charge to put a new roof on lol. I do not care how they waste their own money but if they think they can rip all us leaseholders then they can think again, £3000 admin charge for putting a roof on?. Jokers. We are all going to get together and have an independent roofer come out and give us a a proper quote, It may be in the lease that we have to contribute to the roof but I am damn sure it does not say we have to be shafted by these people. Just to make it clear after reading the response from WHG, we have been told that the consultation period has ended & people I have spoken to who have contacted WHG have been told they must pay this money once the work is carried out. Many of the people that WHG are pensioners and some vulnerable, to put it plainly they have been told they must pay. WHG are carrying out work that is not always needed and are expecting OAPs to find £13300 at the very least, this sum could be higher.
