Jun 03,2024This is one of the most useful apps that I've used for helping to generate content and ideas for my content. The content it produces is great but some of the Article Writer apps experience bugs every so often - usually only for a couple of hours but once it was days. Otherwise, it's quite a good app. Although, I do wish they had live chat rather than only email support.

My principal dissatisfaction stems from the company’s persistent attempts to upsell. Despite purchasing a high-end plan, I find that 2-3 months later, the features I want to use are restricted to more expensive tiers. These tiers are priced at $100 per month, which is three times my current year-long subscription cost. After investing $375 for a yearly subscription, I feel that Writesonic engages in misleading advertising and employs a bait-and-switch approach to upsell customers. This constant push for higher-tier plans detracts from the overall user experience, making it difficult to fully enjoy the service’s potential without feeling pressured to spend more. While the tool has potential, the upselling tactics have left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. I hope Writesonic reconsiders this approach and provides a more stable and transparent pricing structure.

May 26,2024Have tried a lot of ai apps for writing lately. Most all of them fall short for me, especially when it comes to citing actual sources or forming intellectual sentences that don't sound like a 6th grade robot. I found WriteSonic actually by accident, and was looking at a search engine app. It said it did citations, and made it very easy to create an article using research that you select. When you type the topic, the ai will spit out several listings of probable sources, or you can upload your own, if you get their standard account. Since I'm writing a health article that requires research, I decided to take writesonic for a little spin. I used their Article Writer 6.0. This platform can do long text - and doesn't cut off after 500 words. You have the option to select the length of the article. I had tried Chat GPT and many book writing ai apps, but this made it so easy to set up. No big prompts or figuing out what to include in your prompt to get the right result. This sort of nailed it on the first try. I was blown away. They have an option where you can also upload your own data with their standard membership, which is a beneficial feature if you are doing more research based work. Now, on the trial, many sources still were incorrect, and I had to fix and make corrections, as well as write my own MLA bibliography, but it's better than the BS all the other ai's spit out. Honestly, overall I was impressed with how it was able to bring up articles that pertained to my topic in an instant. However, I wish it had just strictly used the ones I selected. It gave me more than I asked for with that as there were more source numbers than actual sources listed, but these are things that can be corrected. Overall, I found this app to be much easier to use and more thorough. So I signed up for a membership right away. But if I were to recommend an ai assistant app for writing research articles or longer content, this app would definitely be at the top of my list. Blown away.
