During the covid pandemic I launched a collection of home fragrances inspired by Pakistan but made in the UK, I thought if I can't take you to Pakistan let me bring it to your homes. All my luxury home fragrances made up of Candles, Diffusers, Room Sprays, Wax Melts & Diffuser oils are sourced from local UK based businesses to support other local businesses. I source from the same supplier as Jo Malone, with the aim of taking all my consumers on a sensorial adventure of Pakistan. The ethos of the company is to put Pakistan on peoples radar, get people talking about all the great stuff on offer in Pakistan & from the Pakistani community based in the UK all in a bid to remove ignorance so that racism can be tackled in a creative manner.
Pakistan was never high on our bucket list as a place to visit, yet one conversation with Saadia and the team convinced us that we had found the right business in Xperiencepakistan to put together a trip that we would never forget. Saadia worked closely with us to establish the types of things we like to do, from history, culture, meeting people, experiencing the food, and the sort of geographical sites/views we enjoyed. A really imaginative itinerary developed from that and we used the capacity of Youtube to help develop the trip. What was great that as we were putting together a bespoke itinerary we could change things to what we wanted and not be bound by a rigid programme. When we finally arrived in country we had an amazing full-on trip, travelling from Islamabad 1200 miles south to Karachi. In the whole time there we only saw one other âwesternâ couple. The people were extremely friendly and inquisitive as they donât see many tourists, and despite the security perceptions we never saw or felt âat riskâ (and we selected to travel to areas our Foreign Office advises against such as Peshawar - which was one of our favourite destination on the trip and the place to buy your Iranian or Afghani rug). Pakistan might be one of the poorest countries we have visited but the people all looked fit and healthy, food was in abundance on every market stall and the rice (a major crop) was perhaps the best of quality we have experienced. Along the way we sampled many excellent local foods. Most of the sites we visited had UNESCO status, and you could see why. There were many amazing heritage sites, mosques, and forts some on a scale that is hard to fully appreciate. All in all, a trip not to be forgotten. Recommended - absolutely and do not be put off by our media. What we saw and experienced never reflected the image they paint. Now we have to do the north and the mountains!
Everything was fine apart of selling people they are fraud
Great website which is very user-friendly. Great customer service.
I have just bought a trio of candles and a room diffuser on line. They all smell great, the scents are really subtle and real. The order was handled fast and delivered safely. My main problem was making a choice in the first place! The fact that Saadia maintained personal email contact through the process was a pleasant surprise. Most online shopping is impersonal. Good luck
An exceptional small company. Beautiful products and I am sure the company will do extremely well. My daughter loved the three candle set which was absolutely gorgeous and the scents very relaxing. Many thanks for your attention when purchasing in John Lewis. Wish you every success.
My first time experience with personal shopping was an easy and smoothest process thanks to Saadia. Sheâs professional and easy to communicate with. I ordered my bridal outfit through her from Pakistan as I reside in Dubai, and from the beginning Ive felt safe and easy with her handling my payments and appointments etc. Sheâs definitely my go to for all my personal shopping needs. Canât wait to order her candles next as they smell divine!
The best products I have purchased, and I have purchased many!!! The fragrances last for ages and are so beautiful, they transport you to your happy place! So many visitors have commented on how good they are. Itâs easy to tell these are not just your âoff the shelfâ products, they ooze quality and give the home a wonderful ambience. Just love the unique packaging and the fragrances never fail to impress. Once purchased, you will be going back for more, just canât get enough. Xperience Pakistan is truly an experience that must be tried!
As someone who has visited Pakistan several times since childhood, there is nothing like the entrancing scent when you walk past a stand of men selling jasmine necklaces and bracelets, ready to be worn for all the weddings that weekend. Xperience Pakistan's floral scented candles have managed to package all my favorite memories of Pakistan in a small beautifully decorated jar. I was instantly brought back to playing in the rain with my cousins during summer break. I remembered the unique scent of rose syrup in paan and gulab jaman. I have never written a review in my life. But I was compelled to rave about this purchase. Not only was I able to experience Pakistan with just a wiff of the delicious jasmine, I was happy to help the seller's amazing cause of building schools for girls. These candles would make such a thoughtful gift for anyone who grew up in Pakistan.
Delighted with the gorgeous truck art stationery set I got from XperiencePakistan especially since they made a donation to a Pakistani Girls' Education charity for each purchase. The quality was fantastic and Saadia was really lovely to deal with.
Such lovely people. Even though never shopped from them still they helped me so much they be updating me with news about special flights and helping what to do in this crucial time. I was stuck in Pakistan and didn't know where to go and who shall approach, this lovely team informed me how to get flight and come back uk. Today I'm with my family. A big thanks to Xperience Pakistan for their help. They deserve more than 5 stars.
My Experience With XperiencePakistan Firstly, I canât thank Saadia and her team enough for the amazing experience of Pakistan that they showed me. They helped me at various stages of my trip, everything from: the itinerary, the visa application and ensuring all my needs were looked after whilst in Pakistan. Including checking up that the trip was going as I desired it. So a very very special thank you to the team at Xperience Pakistan for giving me an experience of a lifetime. Visiting Holy places in Pakistan It was like a dream, walking the places that Guru Nankana walked, played and lived. One of the major reasons I was so glad to have gone with Xperience Pakistan, was I wasnât rushed and I could set the pace that I wanted too. And they were very open to letting me change my mind, even while the trip was taking place. The Gurdwara and the samadi of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh in Lahore, broke my heart. I know how money is spent in the UK on Gurdwaraâs and itâs a crying shame, that we (Sikhs) donât spend a little bit of that on our history in Pakistan. Nankana Sahib, Kartarpur and Panja Sahib were the highlights of my trip. Seeing the Pakistani side of Punjab just puts a smile on my face, when I think about it. It is so similar that itâs unbelievable. Pakistani People As a British Indian Sikh, I didnât know how I would be welcomed in Pakistan, especially with the actions the Indian Government is currently taking. I was worried that not only would I not be welcomed but violence, kidnapping etc, might happen. Before going Xperience Pakistan did try and ressaure me that all would be okay but I was still apprehensive. The Pakistani people I had the pleasure of meeting in Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Kartarpur, Islamabad and Peshawar â couldnât be nicer to me. On two different occasions, my heart really went out, the beauty in the hearts of Pakistani people because they went above and beyond what I would expect from your average interaction with people. The weird thing was how happy they were to see a Sardar, not a tourist from the UK. Fellow Sikhs from India received an equally happy experience from the people in Pakistan. Hotels The Hotel I stayed in was brilliant, the quality equal to any decent hotels in the UK or any European country. The only hotel slightly below par was the one in a village (Narowal) near Kartarpur. And even that was better than most three star European Hotels. I would strongly recommend booking the trip as soon as possible. So that the team at Xperience Pakistan can book the best Hotels. My trip was a bit last minute so they couldnât book the best Hotels in Kartarpur and Nankana Sahib. Xperience Pakistan pride themselves on quality over quantity and in my experience that was definitely evident. Haris (My Guide) Haris was my guide during the trip, I honestly canât say enough good things about him. He not only showed me things I wanted to see like the Gurdwaraâs but also modified the trip so I could see things that I desired to see, mainly the historical aspects of Pakistan. I even got to meet his friends and got to experience the real Pakistan. Thinking of them, as I write this, is putting a big smile on my face. Haris in Urdu has a meaning of a Guardian, a protector. If any name suits someone that name suits Haris. I really enjoyed his company, and our serious discussions of Pakistan to lighted hearted conversations on movies and songs we like. I even watched Legends of the Fall, as I was flying back to the UK, because of his recommendation â btw, loved the movie. Culture and History I would encourage everyone who visits Pakistan to experience its cultural and history, after all, big chunks of it, is shared history and culture. One of the mind blowing visits was Buddhist temples. The Tomb of Jahangir is an amazing complex of buildings. I would high recommend anyone visiting Lahore pay a visit. I simply fell in love with Lahore and Peshawar, both very old cities with tons and tons of history. My big tip is that seek the advise of the team at Xperience Pakistan, they know what they are talking about and their advise to see less but enjoy the experiences should be taken, there is lots to see in Pakistan but trying to squeeze in too much will ruin the experience. The best thing about going with Xperence Pakistan is the small sizes they work with, in my case I was alone but as a business they want to ensure that everyone gets to see what they are interested in, which is why they wonât go beyond a group size of 12-15, so that all their clients can leave Pakistan knowing theyâve got what they wanted out of the holiday. With Xperience Pakistan, you never feel like a number or a transaction their regular communication makes you feel safe and a valued guest.
Saadia and her team at Xperience Pakistan have been a revelation. As a second generation (BBCD) Pakistani who loved going back when younger, booking a holiday now with family in tow was a bit daunting. They helped me with hotel and car hire, both of which were fantastic and very reasonable. Happy to recommend them and will use them again!
