Dec 08,2022Their full registered company Name is Abbeygate Insurance Brokers Ltd. Brokers??? They have no idea what an insurance brokers' is and what they are supposed to do to assist their clients. When you receive a message from a manager saying "we are neither qualified or authorised to discuss the claim with you, neither do we have all the facts" it makes you question what they have been doing on your behalf over the 9 months of the outstanding claim. Brilliant at taking your money and chasing you for renewal premiums but when you most need support it is all "NOT OUR PROBLEM - DEAL WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY"

Nov 09,2022As every year with Abbeygate I receive a reminder to renew my insurance policies, which is very useful saving me the job of remembering or making a diary note. This year I had a reminder from Effie and went in to see her to query a couple of points. She was charming , very courteous and answered the queries I had which gave me assurance on the policy I subsequently renewed. Overall, she was helpful and very efficient

Sep 14,2022I discovered Abbeygate on-line via Google and filled in the quotation form therein. I had just been rejected by Gan Direct for a renewal after many years with them without a claim. I was telephoned by Eden Barkley almost immediately - what an enthusiastic and helpful person she is. We quickly arranged a policy suitable and the business was done so effortlessly and the price was good also. Documentation came through without a hitch and I could not be happier. My wife will be coming your way in February. Incidentally I was telephoned by Gan Direct today and they apologised about the mix-up with my my medical form and the subsequent rejection of myself for a renewal. I told them that I now acquired another policy elsewhere and they were the losers - the lady sounded apologetic and upset but not my fault. They had apparently not filed my medical form and sent out a rejection notice in error.
