No sign of music ordered (and paid for) after 7 weeks. Order says not shipped yet. No response to emails or phone calls. Wish I’d checked trustpilot first.
Alan Gregory have been holding my cello to sell for me for some time. I had a phone call to say they were stopping selling second hand instruments and asked me to collect. I arranged a time and date. I drove across Manchester to find the shop shut. They are not answering calls or emails.
This company has wilfully sold my instrument on comission with clearly no intention of handing over any money. That is theft. Pursuing a CCJ against the owner.
Ordered online to get email back saying items out of stock and would I like full refund. I replied same day I wanted a refund. Over a month with no refund and multiple emails and calls and they advised me over phone to open a PayPal dispute as it was the only way I’d be getting a refund! Having checked other review sites it seems this is common practice for this company. Steer well clear! They should be reported to trading standards.
Purchased 3 items for our Band which we’re showing in stock . Items didn’t turn up , so called shop to be told they couldn’t get these items even though they were showing in stock . Was told I would get a full refund the following day . Six weeks later still waiting for my refund even though I ring 3 times a week & told it will be in my bank account next day . Have now stopped answering phone !!!! Company either in financial trouble or just very dishonest & like holding onto customers Money
Items shown as in stock yet I received a phone call to say 2/3 items not available. One of them they may never be able to source again. This happened last time I ordered with them but I gave benefit of the doubt ordering again. Also was told that the quickest way to get a refund is to put in a PayPal claim. Either this company is very poorly run or they are in major financial trouble, trying to hold onto people’s money as long as possible. Still waiting for my refund now. Will be telling all my band members to avoid this company like the plague.
Rovner ligature bought for Soprano did not fit. Returned at my own expense then had to message this man about a refund several times. He then only gave me a partial refund, which I had to put a claim in with Amazon to get the rest. I would avoid this seller.
Contacted them to arrange a refund (for a low quality product), as the process on their website. After days, no response to my email was received and when I called to chase, a returns slip was promised, which never arrived. Not recommended!
Disgusted with this shop. I bought a new bell clamp and lyre for my flugelhorn. The clamp arrived in a pre-opened bag, scratched and tarnished. I took photos and I complained but barely received an apology and was told it had probably been lying around for a while and that was why it was slightly tarnished. I’ve been told I’d have a full refund if I sent it back BUT I need the clamp for Sunday remembrance march, so cannot send it back. I only wanted a proper apology and a small compensation to feel that they understood. I just felt that I was never taken seriously and that it was trivial. I wasn’t treated with respect. Never going to them again.

Mar 17,2022Stay AWAY from the company. Order placed at the beginning of Nov and 4 months later the items have not been received. They haven't replied to any of the many emails and never answer the phone number that is available on their website. Very poor customer service...or non-existent should I say. I managed to speak with the owner once and he said that would look into the various orders but never got back to me or any of the pupils that ordered books from him. AVOID!
