Aug 25,2024What I love about Altezza is that they're well-organized, communicative, ethical, and always putting health and safety first! Had a great time with them on the 7-day Lemosho route. We were 11 hikers with over 50 Altezza staff supporting us along the way. The entire Altezza crew, from the coordinators on WhatsApp, to the gear checkers at the hotel, to the guides, porters and cooks, were all so friendly and professional. 10/10 would recommend!

Aug 22,2024From the beginning our dealings with Sophie were excellent. She promptly answered all emails and regularly checked in along the way to make sure we were happy. Our driver / tour guide, Hussein was beyond all expectations. He was an excellent driver and his knowledge and experience were impeccable. With his friendly, humorous disposition, he quickly became one of the family. No request was too much trouble and he made our safari one to remember. The accommodation along the way was beyond expectations and we were very comfortable. Thank you Altezza, for a truly memorable experience.

They make every conceivable effort to “safely” get you to the top of Kilimanjaro in comfort. I would do other tours with this company any time

Hamza, Godson and crew are such fabulous guides, our entire group summited with a great trip. David was then the ultimate safari guide, so friendly and knowledgeable, plus he knew literally everyone we crossed paths with. All recommend camps were top notch, the Altezza team was organized, responsive and all in all, fabulous. I definitely recommend themif you are planning a trip.

We initially scheduled a private group and when one of our members got sick at the last minute, Vita moved us to another group, leaving the next day on the 7 day Machame Route. We loved our team, our leader Joshua, and the full team and at almost 71, I was so excited to reach summit. I was encouraged and I think encouraged others in our group. Details around safety, great food and care for our well-being, helped us have a fantastic experience. I am happy to refer Altezza to anyone considering the climb!

Direct communication with staff answering all of our questions in a timely way, excellent. Guides are experienced, trained and prioritize health and safety- also kind and personable. Camp staff are efficient, friendly, discrete. Great service with hot filling meals and on trail tea and cookies setup. Our 5 climbers all summited with gentle encouragement and morale boosting singing by our guides and porters. Epic scenery capped off a once in a lifetime experience.

Aug 19,2024I had an amazing time on Kilimanjaro, The trip was organized and operated by Altezza. I did the 7 day Lomosho expedition. This company was amazing from start to finish, when my plane broke, and I was unable to make my original planned trip they quickly and with no trouble got me into another group. The group was awesome, I made a lot of friends and our support crew was more than I could’ve ever hoped for. Rama and his team took great care off us, For an example, I got a horrible bloody nose (common for me) on summit night and without hesitation Ruma and Eliakim did not hesitate to help me. They showed so much compassion while also moving quickly and getting me to a place where I could hike again. The entire team had so much morale and motivation throughout all seven days. Constantly singing, hooting and hollering keeping us pumped up and ready for anything. Everyone from the guides to the porters worked together flawlessly to make this experience, one of a lifetime! Thank you, Eliakim and Ruma for helping me with my nose. Goodluck and Musa for the motivation and laughs. The guides and guides in training that helped on summit night. The waiters and chefs for the amazing food. And everyone who made sure we had a place to sleep, water to drink and wash with, a clean restroom, a tent to eat in, food to be cooked, tea to drink in the morning, places to sit, and so much more. Asante Sana!!!
