Jun 17,2016We felt the experience was outstanding. Unfortunately we both came down with a virus for several days the second week. The crew was friendly, helpful and efficient.. The tour director did an outstanding job. We were very 9mpressed with the itinerary. Also we liked the atmosphere where the crew and passengers almost seemed like a family, unlike the cold feeling one gets on a large cruise ship. River boat is the way to go.

Jun 17,2016I was disappointed in my river cruise experience. I was expecting a more personal interaction than the large cruise ships but found quite the opposite to be true. Simple requests were met with responses such as, 'I don't think I can do that' , 'you want that' (followed by a turned up nose), or by simply not doing anything. I found Rolf to be very dismissive with guests (not just with me, but also with fellow passengers) and his sales pitch on the last night did not need to include bashing your competitors. Left a sour taste with me. Hopefully that is not company policy.
