President of American Surplus Inc., Bill DiMaio Jr., began his career in sales back in 1985. As he rapidly excelled in the industry, Bill decided to take on an even larger endeavor, to start his own company. With hard work and determination, Bill DiMaio Jr. and his supportive wife Claire DiMaio, became the only husband and wife team in the used material handling industry. Claire took charge of the accounting department & human resources, with the help of their son, Bill DiMaio III. After inspecting shipment, none of the shelves were damaged in shipping. After placing shelves in shelving units they were bought for found they were just about the right that I needed. I will keep this company in mind when looking for more shelving.

Oct 29,2020American Surplus was very helpful guiding me through setting up a new warehouse storage rack system. The elements of the rack system were delivered complete, undamaged, and on time. For "used" items, they look to be almost brand new. The pricing was competitive with two other companies in my area. If my company expands in the future, I would purchase from American Surplus again.
