All have been on the same page in making sure our development needs for our highly customized website we’re fully understood. My business partner Josh and I were novices in knowing what we actually needed for a webstore selling CBD products. Through their suggestions, we have been able to jointly develop exactly what we need to compete in this industry. We also have contracted them for website maintenance and they have been very attentive to changes. Changes and additions to the webstore have been done in a timely manner. We also contracted AWC’s to create and run our social media and SEO campaigns. The work has been great although we have not seen any business come our way as of yet. Mar 23,2022I purchased website package from the company which also includes SEO and SMM services. Worked with Alan Smith and Toby Layne for few month and the work didn’t turn out as expected. Then I started to work with Sutton Brady and Zach. Basically Sutton as a project manager coordinated with me closely and making sure we are on the same page. The request feedbacks are well understood even with a tied deadline. Customized website project could be complex but the dedication and fast turnaround is always appreciated from Sutton’ team.

Although I have made her job much harder than it should be. she has shown herself to remain professional, understanding, trustworthy and above all else, a pleasure to talk to. Ms. Sutton has gone above and beyond what I would expect from anyone in her position to the point that I am always apologizing to her for making her job so much harder than it should be. Jan 20,2022Working with American Webcoders started out awesome - friendly team, dedicated to your mission and there to help. After working with a sales rep to get partnered up with my project manager, things seemed to be going well. I was content with my design I had been offered and ready to bring the page alive. It was at this time that I was told I would need to invest at least $800 to provide the storage for all my content for 3 years. I was setting up a music blog that sourced music and links from Spotify and YouTube but was told I would need the files directly on my page to make the user experience on the platform optimal. Although I told them I was OK with some lag in the audio they were not because it "reflected on their work and portfolio." I connected with my cousin who works in tech and he was able to set me up with storage through Digital Ocean that would scale as I added additional content to the page (as of date I currently pay $12 a month for the storage I have on my site.) My cousin provided me a link to the storage that American Webcoders could embed in the site and work effectively. After providing American Webcoders that link, that next day I received a call from a higher up manager telling me that they were going to need to put together a team of people because of my content size and that the whole thing would conveniently cost another $800. This is when I started to become wary of the company and their intentions. As someone who was unemployed at the time, I was very clear that I could not afford to spend additional money after the initial investment. They kept pushing back saying this was necessary and that they needed the funds to move forward. Unfortunately, I was not able to provide them with the additional funds but the manager said he would be able to provide a refund on the services that equaled about 1/3 of the total project's initial investment. This was back in June. Now it's seven months later and after several missed dates for when the refund was "supposed" to hit my account, I can't get my project manager or his manager or American Webcoders to respond to my calls or e-mails. However, they did respond when I called from a different number. But, when I finally was able to get a hold of the manager in December 2021, he promised me a full refund and sent "proof" that the refund was coming back into my account in 10-15 days. Guess what - it's been over (30) and of course still no refund and of course no answer from the project manager or his manager. The whole experience post set-up has been drawn out, unnecessary and frustrating. Currently just looking to get back a refund for a website that was never built but can't get anyone to even respond to me. I wish I would've listened to my gut from the beginning and not gone with American Webcoders for my website design needs and would absolutely, 100% never, ever recommend this company to anyone as this has been the worst customer experience of my life. I'm convinced this is 100% a scam. Save your money and go to literally anyone else for your web design needs.
