Helpful advice to customers and a competitive deal
This is my second year to get my car insurance through an post. After shopping around they have consistently been the cheapest option. Also they answer their phones quickly and their staff are friendly.

Well the ease & speed with which I got the very welcome premium quote online was a game changer, at no point did I feel that I would have to ring to haggle which is nice, I hate haggling 😁. The website was very straight forward to process the acceptance & questions & answers were quick & easy to follow. The payment options were clear & easy to follow too.
Their website seemed good until I paid. My session had timed out with their website instructing to call their sales team with a reference number. I had to call them 3 times to still not have the payment applied to my quote. They kept insisting on needing a document from Liberty Insurance, that Anpost themselves admitted over the phone that they know Liberty can't provide the letter because it's not industry practice to request such a letter. After 3 hours, I called them and requested them to refund my quote payment. They failed to do so, rejecting the payment on their side. It took my modern Revolut bank 7 DAYS to automatically refund the unclaimed payment. Anpost went above and beyond to be as awkward as possible and it seemed very apparent over the phone that they got enjoyment from doing this. A disgusting attitude to have. Anpost Insurance are ultimately an Aviva reseller. I signed up with Aviva directly without any of these problems and by quote was 80 euros cheaper per year. I will no longer be using Anpost for anything but post. Avoid like the plague.

My insurance went up €300 from last year despite no claims and no change in details I did not receive a call just automatic renewal - I will be cancelling my policy

Sep 12,2024We recently had a flat tyre and called the support number. They did not give us a chance to organize the time for car collection and showed when there was no one at home and when we called again to set up a time they refused to give us service.
