Whole experience was fantastic. From the first salesman visiting, to the installation of our new windows and doors, and afterwards too. Rob and Luke who fitted the windows and doors are a real credit to Apple, thanks again chaps. Slight snag with one of the window handles, but was put right the day after I called to mention it. First class service, will definitely be back for that conservatory!
I booked an appointment for a quote to have weatherboard cladding installed on my house, from the outset the telesales person seemed fixated on the requirment to talk to my wife, I explained that I was only requiring a quote for the installation as I already have two other quotes and am aware of the product used including the colours. When the sales person arrived, he also seemed to have an interest in engaging with my wife, again I explained my requirement and showed him around the house; he again said that he would prefer to sit down and discuss the requirement with my wife and was disappointed when I explained the she was at work. After about 4 minutes he said he had seen enough; I asked him about a quote and he said I would receive something in about 3 days. Nothing ever arrived. I rang the company and after talking to another telesales person that also was fixated with talking with my wife he put me through to the Manager who said that 'Jeff'' who visited me would be in touch. When he rang me he said that he could not quote as he hadn't been able to talk to my wife -weird!
R2188598. We had reservations about the sales person, Jesse, who wouldn't take no for an answer or give us the time to think things over and we nearly cancelled because of his attitude. However we did proceed with our order and found the surveyor (we think his name was Derek) was very professional and gave us honest expert advice so our confidence grew. The fitters, Rob and Luke, were very professional, couldn't be more friendly and were very open in answering any questions we had.
Hot tub installed today by Apple. Installation team were first class and explained everything fully, they were extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable. Would recommend Apple for a Hot Tub they have been very good from the outset with great communication and an excellent service all round
We had a conservatory added to our house by Apple in 2014, and we love it. So we naturally went to Apple when we decided to buy new windows and doors this year (2018). Their quote was not the lowest, but we went with it, based on the success with the conservatory. Well, in the end, we have some very nice new windows all around the house, a new side door and new french doors as well. The saying goes that it's not the problems that should define a company, but the resolutions, and in this case, I would agree. The initial fitter, a pleasant enough chap, effectively worked alone, as his "apprentice" was not really able to assist with the fitting, although they were both good at making a mess in the house! After the fitter had departed, we found many and varied problems when we inspected the "finished" work, so we contacted Apple (thanks for the first line support, Bethany) and asked for a different team to sort out the job and complete it properly. I must say that the response I received from Apple management (thank you, Martin) was immediate and positive; the completion work was carried out promptly by a new team, Peter and Stuart, accompanied by the site manager, Gary. They were a pleasant, professional and well organised team who listened to our requests and sorted everything out. Thanks to all three of them, as well. Subsequently we have noticed one more problem, but I have been told that this will be sorted out within a few days as well, and I am confident that it will. In summary; not the cheapest, but we're pleased with the results, and we expect to enjoy the benefits of our new windows and doors for many years.
Hot Tub Purchase and possible extension I popped in to the showroom in Bournemouth to look at the Hot Tubs and was dealt with by a lovely young man who made every effort to assist, there was certainly no pressure to buy but to make sure it was the right one for us. Whilst there we also discussed an extension on our house in the future and some very helpful tips were given. We also had trouble finding someone to lay the base for the hot tub and Andy very kindly arranged for one of his contractors to do the work at short notice. In summary I would have no hesitation in recommending this company as they are polite, efficient and go over the top to make sure all is properly installed, clean and explained thoroughly. Thanks to everyone there who made this a really good experience!
After owning a Lazy- Spa for two years my wife and myself thought we might buy a proper Hot Tub when we saw Apple's 0% offer. When we were looking around the store there was no pressure from a pushy salesperson only someone who was giving useful advice when asked for it. When the chosen Hot Tub was delivered, two weeks before the expected date, it was delivered by two very amiable and very competent lads who went out of there way to make sure it was positioned in exactly the right spot before they connected it up, very neatly. After they filled the Hot Tub we were then given full and comprehensive instruction on how to care for it with the use of chemicals and general care. In a phrase we cannot fault Apple or there amiable and competent staff.
A salesman called Jeffrey rang and made an appt with my elderly mother for the next day - she hadn't called him but had made inquiries online. He called that evening to tell her he was 'passing' and asked to visit that very evening. He stayed some time and my mother called me to ask for money. I was unhappy to hear he was putting pressure on her to part with a deposit that evening. Remarkably it only took him 20 seconds to leave once I arrived. Also why would a man think it acceptable to visit an elderly woman alone at this time of day!
I would recommend Apple Home Improvements. The initial visit was easy and they understood exactly what I wanted, the chap knew his business so was able to take all the measurements there and then unlike some other companies who first send someone round to "sell" to you. The price was good and the installation went smoothly, the workman was polite, took everything away and left my home clean.
I Had a resin driveway installed in December and although the company Apple used to sub the work out too did an extremely good, the cheapo plastic drainage cover that runs along the front of the drive keeps popping off when we drive over it. I have contacted Apple twice over the last seven to eight weeks and still nothing has been done. So much for customer service! It just goes to show you don't always get what you pay for.
Hot Tub purchase and installation. Couldn't fault them. These guys weren't just delivery people as expected. They spent time cleaning it, making sure it was positioned exactly right, installed the electrical bits and filled and checked everything was working well. After a thorough lesson in chemical I would need to use and how to maintain, I was really impressed. Great service, no sales calls since....possibly down to GDPR and the right to be forgotten but in anycase great service and product.
I have just had a hot tub installed and I must say the service from start to finish has been exceptional! It's been great having a point of contact in Andy Downes who has been profrssional and kept me informed every step of the way. It has been great not going through a call centre and speaking to different people explaining things from the start. On the day of installation the team were with me by mid day which I didn't see as an issue. Andy phoned me and apologised they wernt there first thing and sent two bottles of champagne to say sorry for the delay!? Jason and Josh from the installation team have been amazing too! Lovely and friendly, made sure I was happy explaining everything chemical wise and have left the garden spotless and tidy! Having people in my home I trust is so important and I felt comfortable and safe knowing they were on hand. I must say probably the best service from a company from start to finish! I won't hesitate to shout about you guys from the rooftops! I don't get the negative reviews! Each to their own! I can only talk about my experience and have had my fair share of awful from other companies in the past..this experience was faultless!
I was interested in getting a quote from this company to replace a carport. The lady I spoke to was insistent that my wife should be present when the salesman visited. I tried to explain that due to my wife’s job, this may not be possible. She was extremely rude and said that my wife MUST be present! As a result, I ended the call. Seems like a very high pressure sales company to me, and don’t recommend.
Apple came to my house to quote me for 4 new casement windows and a composite front door. Endured an hour long science lesson on their windows, then a further 45 minutes on options and what we want and how good Apple are. Given a 1 year guaranteed price of £10,000! With all of thier 'offers' and deals, buy it now price of £7,200. I told them Anglian quoted me £5,800 and he matched it instantly. We said we need to think about it as we were due to get a few more quotes. He then brought it down to £5,000 like that and when I would not agree there and then, he got defensive and pushy. When I didn't agree, I had to sign to say I rejected thier quote and he rudely packed up and left. Horrible sales man who really put me off considering Apple. I was quoted £3,000, £3050, and £2975 by three different local companies with great reviews on Checkatrade. The company I chose have been fantastic and did a brilliant job. Saved myself £4,200 by avoiding Apple. Shop around people. Do your homework.
Had 3 windows fitted from Apple few weeks back, very happy with all the work start to finish. Clean tidy and on time. Will always go with Apple for my future projects!
The fitters were excellent. Friendly, polite, tidy and they did a marvellous job. The windows are door are great, with minimal touch up work required. I’m not quite sure how they managed to fit 6 windows and a front door and removed all the old ones. A really great job.
Absolute joke of a company. Surprising considering what they must spend on advertising and free call phone numbers! Totally faceless company 0800 number answered by faceless call centre who can only arrange for someone to "call you back" and never do. Website enquiry about the same. Employs door to door "children" sales team only able to book appointment for sales team WHO surprisingly (not) don't turn up. Worth remembering - and how many times does this need saying - sales team work on commission only basis. Therefore not likely to turn up if "bigger fish" available. How hard was it to get one window replaced? Forget Apple and went to a local window firm who did the job successfully!
I have had my Apple Conservatory installed in SW London for three years now and love it. From the installation to the customer after care I have to say it has been top, friendly and efficient. I have had to call them back for minor issues a few times and there has never been any quibbles about putting it right, even going out of there way to correct a problem when a charge might have been incurred. The only down side, but this might be because I'm not in their local area is that appointments don't seem available very instant, maybe up to a month. However as I've said great experience to date.
Honestly, their sales team are absolutely terrible, unless you agree to a) your husband also attending the sales meeting , because the ‘wife’ clearly isn’t a decision maker and b) to a minimum of 3 to 4 hours for the sales meeting then they are extremely rude to you. They pay their designers for just one meeting and work in the principle that if they stay long enough you will give in and agree to buy there and then. That sort of pressure sales is what gave double glazing salesmen a bad reputation in the 80’s and I thought things had moved on but clearly in Apples case not. However good or otherwise the product is they won’t be getting our business.

Aug 12,2018Impeccable service from Apple! As someone who has very little understanding of anything 'DIY' I was reassured to meet a salesman that was clear, understanding and, ultimately, not pushy in the slightest! The fitting of our conservatory was expertly and efficiently executed and all staff (fitters right through to management) ensured that every detail on the project met the expectations set out in the brief. I was extremely picky about how bespoke I wanted the conservatory, namely the handles and trim, and was expecting these demands to be dismissed due to experience of poor customer service elsewhere on previous projects. However, the team were brilliant and, from start to finish, the customer's wishes and satisfaction were at the forefront of their service. I'd recommend them to anyone.
