Glenn and the team at Awesome re-trimmed a mid century modern armchair for me that my Dad bought in 1964 and it was getting very threadbare! they did an amazing job matching the original colour and original stitching details. so very happy to have my old friend back :) the pricing was very good too! thanks dan

We needed something smaller than the XC70 to get 2 people and some dogs around town, so got a MINI Electric. Barjo make an excellent removable front dog guard to fit on top of folded rear seats, but we were a little bit concerned about dogs getting their paws trapped in various crevices. So figured we would like a permanent (but reversible) solution - removing the back seats to gain more space, converting the car into a "dogster". Searched around a bit and found Awesome Classic & Custom within fairly easy reach from Cambridge. They were quite keen on the idea, invited us over to discuss options, provided a preliminary estimate, squeezed us into their schedule, and performed the job in just over 2 weeks - sticking to the preliminary estimate. We, and the dogs, are very happy with the result and would definitely recommend this company.

There aren't enough stars to give in one review to credit Awesome C&C with the work they have done with my 1974 Gilbern Invader. This car has been in my life for nearly 50 years (it was my fathers before me) and so needed some extra TLC to make it look happy again. I chose to work with Awesome C&C as they were local and showed such a genuine interest in the car's history and were willing to pay me a visit to see the car and discuss our options. This was a blank-canvas job - the whole interior needed refitting. From the initial stages of choosing materials, colours, and coming up with clever solutions and small details that would enhance the final appearance, through every stage of the job to the end, these guys give so much care and attention into their work which is apparent when you see what they do. We went with a beautiful tan leather throughout the car. I couldn't have imagined the final quality until I saw the completed car - it's a work of art! The transformation is truly astonishing and I thank the whole team at Awesome for what you have achieved. Once the car is out on the road again I have no doubt there will be many comments and compliments on the quality of the interior and I will be more than happy to recommend Awesome C&C to everyone. Thank you guys!

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. I was recommended to Awesome Classic from a friend. I took my 1990 Porsche 964 over to Pidley and explained what I wanted to achieve. The car still had the original cloth tartan seats which had faded completely. I had some ideas of what I wanted to achieve from looking at Porsche magazines and the internet. Awesome were able to source Porsche cloths and we had some fun choosing the right houndstooth cloth and the different leather options. I chose to have the front, rear seats, gear stick and side panels all re-done in cream leather with cloth inserts to the seats. The guys clearly took great pleasure in working on the car. As an additional bonus they sourced replacement Porsche rear and front lights and changed these for me. I agreed a price and took the car into the workshop in Nov 2020 and was promised it would be finished before Xmas. The boys kept to the timescales and I was able to pick the car up before Xmas which was a real treat. They even arranged to MOT the car whilst it was in their possession and put my private plate on the car at zero hassle for me. The car is now transformed and I believe is truly one of the best looking manual 964s I have seen physically or in any media. The guys take great care in their work and truly love their jobs. The workmanship is first class and it is value for money. thanks so much guys!!!

Awesome is well named. They did a first class job for our charity, Grafham Water Sailability Ltd, replacing the seats on the RIB's which we use as our safety boats. We cant recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for excellent craftsmen, you've found them!

Where do I start. These things are usually a ball ache to sort out especially when you can't get down to the place and be there physically to see or arrange anything BUT and I will definitely be saying but to this because Glenn and the team were unbelievable. I can only praise what they did to my 944.. the fabric and finish are In my opinion the best in the industry. They transformed my motor and bought her back to life! Not only did they do this but I was kept up to date through pictures and videos showing the process which really made me feel part of the journey, its hard not seeing the work being done and I was obviously very worried with what I would get back, but seriously what we got back was the classic 944 interior.. like it had come straight out of the porsche garage in 85. Bare in mind I've never met or used them before and it was a Google search where I came across their detail but upon seeing the work via website and Instagram I thought I'd give it a go and I'm so glad I did! On top of this Glenn sorted an MOT for me at his local garage and sorted certain problems that had occurred over years which we could not fix ourselves ( and we visited many garages for this) i would say he went beyond what I expected him and the team to do. Finally our car was dropped off to us via a towing company they use. The guy who delivered our car (Robin) was quality and a great guy and I really loved the enthusiasm he had for cars and life, she came back securely and again with alerts on his journey departure and arrival. So if you can't get to garage I can 100% say he is trustworthy guy and a real enthusiast with his work. Guys on behalf of my dad and myself we would like to thank you for the awesome work ( it seriously is in your name!) We have fallen in love with her all over again and she looks amazing. Thank you for bring her back to life and ready for more journeys with us.

AWESOME are just that, awesome. I went to two other leather upholsterers before contacting Awesome. The two other companies said they could not successfully recover my Peugeot 207cc back seats because the seat filling was bonded to the cloth upholstery. Awesome said "not a problem", and for them it wasn't. The quality of the leather, stitching and upholstery is superb. The professionalism and service are 5 star and the whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. They love cars and they made me feel they loved my car and just wanted to make it look amazing - which it does. Reupholstery is not just for classic cars - my Peugeot 207cc is a 2014 reg. If you love your car and want to upgrade the upholstery, then go to Awesome.

We found Awesome Classic by accident whilst trawling the web for someone to re-upholster our 10 year old motorhome, and what a find this was, first class service from the first point of contact, through help choosing suitable materials to the final work. excellent communications and a willingness to help and advise where needed. We can safely say you will be in the best hands if you use this great team.

Where do I start? My 40 year old vintage Fiat needed some attention, but that was not the main act. Having popped into see Alan Stokes Automotive Engineering nearby about its performance and mentioned I needed a more stunning and brilliant headlining performer Alan gave me a number and a name, awesome I thought. How lucky I was too, an international act that would headline and solve a problem that had dropped on my head! I felt in good hands meeting Gregg, who assured me they would be happy to headline for me. To give a bit more specific detail, Gregg helped remove my headache by taking my hardtop off. A quote ensued, which was a little expensive, but I knew I'd not get a better price and boy was I awesomely satisfied when I saw the final act on the cute little Barchetta it fitted.

I took my Alvis TD21 into Glenn and Greg to have a look am my drivers seat. It was a bit like a bouncy castle for the last few years and as they were local to me, thought it was worth a punt. BOY did l strike it lucky. Not only are they aptly named, the service and care was second to none. They have literally given the seat back it’s original shape and firmness! Now a pleasure to drive. And to have them on my doorstep so to speak was the added bonus. Many thanks Glenn and Greg. Fully recommended!

The final fettling of my F355 required a complete retrim of both leather seats, custom embroidery to the headrests and a retrim of the leather dash. This was a ‘turnkey’ project i.e. I drop the car off, Awesome strip the seats and dash out of the car carefully removing the recently refurbished controls, dials and switches, retrim to my exacting standards and reassemble/refit everything ensuring it all fits and works afterwards and, above all, looks amazing. The did exactly that. Not cheap by any means but the workmanship cannot be faulted from the quality of the leather used and colour match through to the extensive double stitching in contrasting colour. Everything was put back in place professionally and this retrim now finishes off the car beautifully. I do not believe I could have obtained a better job anywhere else. Thank you Glenn and Greg.

Had some carpeting work and general interior ‘finessing’ work done by Awesome Classic on my 1953 Citroen Traction Avant. The Coverdale ‘cut to fit’ carpeting set was a waste of time and money. Phil went about using the parts of the set that fitted, and custom manufacturing the rest. He finished off parts of the interior that were a nightmare, like the door cards and the edging around the windscreen. The job was completed on time and the quality of the work was exceptional - beyond my expectation. The process wasn’t cheap, but was reasonable given the time spent on the job and the quality of work. When I went to collect the vehicle, there was no hurry with the handover. Glenn insisted on Phil going over every element of work carried out. He clearly took great pride in the the job. They were a lucky find indeed!
