Me and my baby had great support from Sally. I always wanted to breastfeed my baby but i was 1 month in..and looked impossible. We had Sally over and showed us few easy positions for us and also did a plan. She always checked on us via whatsup to see the progress.Thank you Sally

We called on Sally the day after discharging ourselves from hospital (one night post c-section), having had a less than ideal start with feeding our daughter. Our baby was diagnosed with a tongue tie and recessed chin at the hospital and we were struggling with latching her to the breast as well as my milk supply. Sally was a wonderfully calm and reassuring presence, sharing her expert knowledge, carefully considering our situation and getting to know both myself without any judgement and our baby to set us up with a feeding plan. Her kind and gentle approach support enabled us to combination feed as we’d hoped and really supported us over WhatsApp in follow up too. We couldn’t have asked for anything better and are so grateful for her support!

Sally came to do a 1:1 consultation with me soon after I came out of hospital with my son, when I was in intense pain from feeding and very lost in what I should be doing and how to get through. Sally is extremely knowledgeable, soothing, and helped me figure out better positions for feeding, a good latch, and talked me through best practice for pumping. I would not have made it through the first few weeks of breastfeeding without her guidance and support. I highly recommend her - for any moment in your breastfeeding journey.

I very, very highly recommend Baby Thrive and Sally for anyone looking for breastfeeding support. After trouble breastfeeding with my first and a c-section with my second baby, I booked a session with Sally as soon as I was home to proactively support the establishment of breastfeeding. Sally was nothing short of life changing. She came to my home and was instantly warm, kind and made me feel comfortable. She was knowledgeable and helped me to get the latch right, keep my baby awake for feeds, troubleshoot other issues and showed me how to use my breast pump and integrate pumping into my feeding schedule. Because of her, I’m still breastfeeding nearly three months later and plan to continue on as long as I can. She also runs a free breastfeeding cafe in Crystal Palace which is an amazing way to meet other mums and share the struggles/joys of motherhood together. If you’re wondering if you should go for it, just book! It’s worth every penny twice over. I’ve often wondered if Sally could just move in but alas, she has a family and life of her own!!

Sally was incredibly helpful when she came to visit us and our daughter a week after birth when we were having issues with breastfeeding. She was very calming and approachable, and able to offer quick solutions to some of our initial concerns and questions which made us immediately feel reassured. She was also able to refer our daughter for further treatment for her tongue tie which was a huge relief. We have stayed in touch with Sally since and also attended her breastfeeding cafe sessions, which again were very welcoming and informative.

Sally is extremely knowledgeable, kind and calm - I'd wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone wanting advice or support with breastfeeding.

Sally’s balanced, gentle and very professional help from when our baby was 2 days old was invaluable to ensure good latching and efficient feeding. Sally’s approach is informative and respectful, she was able to share plenty of resources and precious advice while always leaving the decision on the best course of action to us. Almost 4 months down the line, our baby is still exclusively breastfeeding and showing optimal growth, none of which would have been possible without Sally. We can’t recommend her enough.

I’d really recommend Sally - she was calm and supportive and came out for a visit at very short notice when I was getting anxious about my daughter’s feeding. She provided a really helpful follow up email with options and signposting references and further reading, and followed up with me further on WhatsApp. Her support boosted my confidence that I knew what I was doing, and I’ll definitely be in touch if I need help again in the future.

Sally’s support during the early days of breastfeeding was invaluable. I found breastfeeding to be very challenging but Sally’s calm, supportive and expert approach made breastfeeding seem possible for me and my baby. After my appointment Sally continued to provide support and encouragement and answer any questions I had. This made a world of difference to my well-being and confidence. I would highly recommend her to any mum struggling to breastfeed or needing a little more support and advice.

I will be forever thankful for Sally’s support! We had a home visit the first night at home with our first baby and her advice, compassion and practical help with breastfeeding positions was invaluable. We’ve since had other visits and support via WhatsApp which has had a huge positive impact on my experience with breastfeeding. Without her support & encouragement I would have found it much harder to continue!

I saw Sally privately for help with breastfeeding a very upset little baby. She was kind, knowledgeable and professional. She was supportive of my goals and continued support through phone call and messages. I also think the breast feeding cafe she runs is a fantastic community resource.

I will be eternally grateful that I booked a consultation with Sally during those early weeks with a newborn. She is everything you could hope for at such a vulnerable time: calm, caring, knowledgable, non-judgmental, professional. While focusing on breastfeeding, she also offers holistic help with all aspects of parenthood, and I learnt many invaluable things from our sessions. She does not give blanket advice, and instead thinks carefully about each issue and the way it personally affects her client. A striking thing about Sally is that she is really well-grounded in a huge range of articles, books and research, and does not just rely on her own (very extensive) experience. The follow-up care is truly excellent, and all in all she has been an integral part of my breastfeeding and motherhood journey.

Sally has been a great support since meeting with her 2 weeks after giving birth. Now 4 months in, I feel supported and empowered to the long and happy BFing journey with my little one. Our initial consultation was so helpful and I felt at ease with her from the beginning. I was very nervous but Sally is so kind and non judgemental - would definitely recommend her services to any new mums!

We contacted Sally before the birth of our second baby after a traumatic experience of trying to breastfeed our son. We had a very reassuring and helpful session with her where she gave us great advice to avoid some of the mistakes we made the first time around. We had a follow up with Sally a few weeks after our daughter arrived. Sally was wonderful at reassuring me through some of the fear that I’d carried through from my first experience. She identified my daughter’s tongue tie and provided compressive information on our choices to deal with it. She put us in touch with an excellent tongue tie nurse and stayed close through the process of having it rectified. I’m very grateful to Sally. We are three months in to our breast feeding journey with my daughter and it is a completely different experience this time around. I’m very grateful to Sally for her knowledge and kindness.
