We are absolutely bowled over by this company. Every step of the purchase and installation was superb. The lift is excellent and is so beneficial to our disabled daughter allowing access to the whole of her home ( and future proofing our home for my husband and I!!) - life changing! From beginning to end all Stiltz staff have been excellent. Special thanks to Richard, Jason, Toby, Justin, Sam, Stephen, Bill and Paul. Their manners and kindness are impeccable and we would highly recommend this company to everyone.
very friendly installers, very helpful and explained everything well.
installation neat professional minimum disturbance
Seamless from beginning to end. From Warren Videan’s excellent & most informative presentation at the outset as to what could be done/ what might be involved structurally speaking to the intensive investigations of two structural engineers, Steve and John, right up until the moment Stiltz’s installers Mike & John told us that our 2 Lifts were ready for use. I was most impressed by the professionalism of Warren, Mike, Steve & the 2 Johns plus the builders John & Ryan, electrician Rob, plumber Carl, electronic engineers Mike & Jake, by the care with which they treated my property, by their attention to details and constantly explaining to me what they would be doing/ what would be involved structurally speaking/ & liasing with me at all times. They are all a credit to the Stiltz Company achieving between them the installation of two lifts in the time frame given, lifts which will enable me to remain at my 4 story home. I was also impressed by the project manager, Nicola, who didn't hesitate to respond to the occasional phone calls which I made to her and the patience & clarity with which she responded to them. I will not hesitate to recommend The Stiltz Lifts Company to all I know. My thanks to you all!!
Great service. Excellent product which performs exactly as advertised. It was delivered and fitted expertly by very friendly and skilled fitters. It's easy to use and has many reassuring safety features. Excellent communications and they kept to timetables for installation. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this company
I made an enquiry re an estimate. It’s too expensive I’ve now been rang at least 3 times a day for 5 days even on a Sunday Basically harassment. Absolutely shocking customer service do not give any details to them.
We had a home lift installed in September by Stiltz and we are still waiting for a response from them after one of the installation team burnt my son’s bed. Their company rep visited and seemed to be trying to assist us with this and other issues we had been left with. I appreciate accidents happen but the response from the company regarding the damage has been non existent. The company likes to show off its accreditations but seems disorganised and the complete lack of communication has spoiled our experience
Stiltz lift surveyors advised my builder on required work to accommodate a new lift. Second surveyor visited to check building works and advised roof needed to be raised (AFTER roof was built on advice of first surveyor). Second surveyor advised where electric supply should be placed. Roof changed at my expense. Third surveyor visited to check new roof. He advised power supply should be at a different height. More adjustments by my builder, at my expense. Lift fitted. Day one of use lift went up but did not come down. I have had 5 different engineers on multiple occasions. The last engineer I saw told me not to use the lift as I was likely to be stuck inside it. The lift has had a new base. It has been completely taken out and replaced by the last engineer. Today I used the lift. It went up. It went down. I could not get out as the door would not open ( again) A friend had to rescue me. This is really not acceptable, in fact it is disgraceful. My 94yo mother is waiting to move in,. I do not trust the lift. Totally unreliable. It has failed to move on 4 occasions and I have been stuck inside it twice. AVOID!!! The lift has been in place 2.5 months and is still NOT SAFE. But it does look good...
Stiltz were very clean and efficient in installing my Homelift. No mess. The lift works well and I would recommend it.
A historic issue came up with planning for a previously installed lift. Once the details got to the right person (there was an initial delay, but they dealt with it) it was dealt with very quickly, their ongoing support / backup was very impressive.
Prompt courteous and competent service from all members of the team. We are extremely grateful to the initial surveyor for thinking outside the box in our difficult old house and getting a lift installed in double quick time which has transformed our family summer. Very many thanks.
We initially approached Stiltz Home Lift because we needed a lift for our two disabled children, who suffer from a progressive muscle wasting condition, making it essential to have reliable, accessible mobility solutions within our home. Our experience began positively, as the initial site survey with a member of the Stiltz sales team was nothing short of excellent. The representative in question was thorough, considerate, and seemed genuinely invested in helping us find the right solution for our family. However, our satisfaction with Stiltz has diminished considerably since installation. Unfortunately, we’ve encountered multiple issues with the lift, many of which remain unresolved to this day. One of our primary frustrations has been the inconsistency in service and support: while we were assured from the start that any work needed would be handled by Stiltz’s own team, we’ve frequently had third-party tradespeople sent to our property instead. This lack of direct accountability and coordination has only added to our frustration and has not provided the reassurance we were promised especially when issues keep arising after each visit. Further disappointment came when we realise that the lift did not meet the dimensions we had expected, we were only told about this by the installer approximately 20 minutes before the job was finished. After visiting the showroom and reviewing the Stiltz Trio+ wheelchair lift, we felt confident that this model would meet our family’s needs long-term. However, the installed lift was cut too short, which means that, as someone over six feet tall, I cannot stand upright within it when accommodating my children. Given that we had clearly communicated the eventual need for 24-hour carers who would also rely on the lift when helping to deal with our children, this oversight in the product’s fit is particularly concerning. Despite mentioning this problem to the team, it feels as though our concerns have been swept under the carpet and to this date have still not been addressed to rectify this issue. While we are grateful that a Disabled Facilities Grant made it possible for us to install a home lift, the disappointing follow-through from Stiltz has left us reluctant to consider their products again in the future. Sadly, our experience has shown that customer satisfaction and service quality seem to drop off sharply once the sale is finalised, and this is not the level of care we had anticipated from such a significant investment.
Typical sales, tell you what they think you want to hear to get the order. Once the order is placed you then deal with the support and installation staff (Project co-ordination, survey, building and installation). The work is well co-ordinated and carried out well, resulting in an excellent job.
Good product and service, friendly and helpful installation team who left everything clean and tidy on completion. no negatives .
Extremely pleased. An efficient, clean and tidy installation. It's making life so much easier, far superior to a stair lift. Would recommend Stiltz without hesitation.
The lift has literally a life saver as my wife has a very serious heart lung disease and was getting progressively worse gasping for breath crawling up the stairs to go to bed. I tried for several years to convince her but she kept saying she couldn’t justify the until she accepted she couldn’t go on. The lift has saved and given her life back. Thanks to stilts.
Excellent Service.
I have had a Stiltz Houselift for 2 years. I went through a lot of stress getting it installed and it put my son in hospital due to the 3 day install process taking 5 weeks. Sadly they tried but failed to change the way my historic house looked. Now, 2 years later they are trying to get me to pay for a 10 year warranty in advance. I have told them to solely speak to my son, but they keep calling me thinking I will cave to the high pressure sales, No way in 2024 am I giving any Company 10 yrs money up front, think again. Beware of a Company like this who try to take advantage of the elderly and vulnerable person. PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THE REPLIES FROM STILTZ TO MY MESSAGE AS THEY ARE FACTUALLY INCORRECT....
Thrilled with our trio lift it’s made such a difference to our day to day lives since it was installed in May. We could have managed with a smaller lift but decided to future proof by having a larger one at the outset. I wanted to wait a few months to be sure before recommending but we really couldn’t be happier. The whole process from start to finish was managed very smoothly & professionally by the Stiltz team.

Feb 23,2025Driver was incredibly rude. Parked on private property and was informed that it’s not public parking. Was very rude and said he doesn’t care and walked off. Disgusted by the attitude of the representatives of this company.
