He presented several options and did a great job of walking me through them. Additionally, early in the process I spoke to a different Bamboo agent and she was equally proactive and helpful.

We are buying a house in California, which is tricky business. We have twice approached Raul with our pants on fire, thanks to all kinds of crazy requests from mortgage officers and underwriters. Raul took great care of us, responding quickly to get us covered and get us all the documentation we needed. Working with him has been terrific.

The insurance agent (Brett Hanson) was highly responsive BEFORE collecting payment. After payment, he completely ghosted me and never cared to reply. The customer service team is also unresponsive. Very shady and unprofessional company.
I was really stressed about finding fire insurance in my area having a hard time well I received a quote from bamboo and a man named Noah Larsen he was so helpful made the process less stressful for me and received pretty good coverage for my home thanks again bamboo insurance
The sales representative (Brett Hanson) was quick to respond only when collecting payment from me. After finalizing the policy, he did not reply to any of my emails when contacted with questions. Please improve customer service and experience. Update 8.14.2024 After reaching out to Rick Valeri, Steven Siffort, and customer service, absolutely no one attempted to reply or helped me with my concerns and issues. I am extremely disappointed with the service. Please fix or you will lose more customers.
I filled out information for an online quote after business hours on a Friday. I received an automated e-mail saying the company would contact me during business hours on Monday and asked me to respond to a few extra questions. I sent those over and first thing on Monday morning I had a quote that was reasonable. I had a few extra questions that Cooper quickly answered and was readily available to take my phone call. Getting home insurance in Southern California is quite difficult these days and I was happy to get a reasonable quote.
Very responsive. In this climate I found that after contacting many insurance companies regarding homeowners insurance I receive no response, even after two weeks waiting! Bamboo responded right away. The experience was painless and the agents were professional and quick. I appreciate the great customer service, given the reluctance to insure homes these days.
I was very happy with Bamboo! The service I received was fast and the prices were fair. Unfortunately I still required the CA Fair Plan but I was still impressed with everything.

This is probably the worst insurance company I have ever used. Had to use them for home owner insurance because the company I used previously left California. This company took 5 months to send the correct declaration page to me and in that time my mortgage company ended up forcing us to get insurance through them so essentially was double charged. This company is trash. Also raised prices by 30% the next year. And I cancelled and got a different company and they stil charged me. Right now in the process of disputing my charges. This is one of the worst conpanies I have ever had to unfortunately work with. Use them only as a last resort.

Oct 17,2024TERRIBLE customer service we have active claim.I have called and left voicemails, emailed and No call back. We were supposed to get “the first payment” 3 weeks ago according to Melanie Copeland and we have nothing yet , no call, NOTHING!! Definitely will not be staying with them.
