Purchased a new unit to replace an aging BBQ Galore built-in; shipping information was sketchy, but unit did arrive in good condition and seems to be a good BBQ. I have called at least twice and left messages asking about the covers they sell for this unit and have yet to hear back from them - guess they don't want me to spend more money with them... Really disappointed. Update 11/4/24: got tired of waiting for a response so called one of their 'stores' (that can't ship anything to you) and spoke to a very knowledgeable person that was able to answer my questions; downgraded their rating to 1 star.

Spent 5k on a new griddle, very poor communication, very poor follow up, very poor customer service after the sale. Was suppose to install today but came & “dropped off” griddle…. 9 weeks after I was told would be installed. Buyer Beware

We bought a Fire Table and Patio Furniture. Pamela D was absolutely fantastic in helping us and made sure everything was perfect, including the delivery. The delivery team were also excellent!

Had the product i needed in stock, when other companies did not. It was easy to order, and was shipped immediately. I believe we ordered on Tuesday, it arrived today. Happy customer

Dropped 3300.00 on a pizza oven cart. It was delivered and set up yesterday. Tipped the delivery set up guys, gave them soda only to find out later in the day that the knob that controls the propane is damaged and or inoperable. To make a long story short...I lost my s..t talking to the Encinitas store. I wanted someone to come out to repair or replace today. No can do. Told them to come and pick it up and give me a refund or send a new one. They seem fine with picking it up. Of course, I haven't seen the money yet and I suspect I'll get hosed on that as well. An example of laziness because they can. The delivery set up guys should carry a propane bottle to ensure that it works prior to leaving.

I purchased an "Arresto Pizza Oven" from BBQ Galore Hervey Bay. I asked a question to some old dude behind the counter who couldn't get up to save his rear end. He was so rude and totally of the planet when it comes to customer service. I later found out he was the owner. My "Arresto" stopped working after 12 cycles of cooking, 15 minutes per warm-up 60 seconds cooking. A total of approximately 3 hours at full blast. It did the job really well. I returned it to the store as it had stopped working. After 1 week in the store, I phoned to find the "low-down" on how my Pizza oven was progressing. Apparently, the owner is the only one who knows how to fix the issue, or does not allow anyone to go near it, and I don't know if this guy is certified to work on Gas Appliances like this, it's not just for any jack of all trades to undertake. The issue is the flame goes out once the knob is released from ignition. I suggested the "Flame Failure protection device is kaput". They have suggested they will "Canabalise" a woking unit (Floor Demo unit), and replace the burner complete. I have an Engineering background and I really don't think this will work in the long term. There is a problem with the Flame Failure unit and BBQ Galore guys know it. Anyone looking for one the these units should be wary, i do not trust this company. and it will not be the end of my problems. I have to wait for the owner to return to the store, he attends only a few days a week, so say no more, I will never buy from a BBQ Galore store again. Pay extra and buy a Gonzie! Really Poor service!

Waited 3 weeks for my bbq never received no one knows where it is order form has been lost at the warehouse communication skills none they didn’t even care that I wanted a refund

I bought a $5000 fireplace after being told to go to the wrong stores. I needed the tile flashing for the roof. after being tod again it was a various store there proved to be none in Qld. I organised to order one from Sydney as I was told that was the only place they had them. i was send an email with bank details and paid online. I was told it could be sent to the store and then posted on to me ASAP. After waiting 2 weeks i rang the store only to be told there was no order coming and that there was none in Sydney. I had to source one from elsewhere so not to cancel my installation. I asked for a refund via email and 2 weeks later still no refund. Once they have your money don't expect any help.

Can’t not recommend this at store. Customer service is awful. Went into look at replacing a Cabana Coast lounger in Sept 2021. Dealt with a part time employee, who went back to school and did not follow up. Went in several times to inquire and was told Would have to wait until she returned????no hand off to another staff member? Next thing I know a lounger arrived with my name on it at a cost of $3000 and it is absolutely nothing like my current outdoor set. Was given a choice of purchasing the lounger or a restocking fee of $1500. Since I didn’t document communication from the beginning, moving forward I emailed all communication. I am getting ghosted by the store manager, who at the time said she work to resolve the issue. Extremely bad customer service.

The company doesn't stand by its products, i was shipped out a defective Nepoleon prestige 500 and both BBQ galore and Nepoleon are pointing fingers at each other and no one has stepped up to replace the unit.

Placed an online order for a very expensive bbq, was sent the incorrect item. I had to chase up eta for the correct swap over no less than 5 times! At no stage did Barbeques Galore call me to rectify the situation. It took 6 weeks for this incompetent company to resolve an issue that they created. But wait, there is more.. they send the correct bbq but don’t pick up the wrong one.. I will never shop here again after this experience. I understand mistakes can happen however this situation should have been dealt with immediately and made a priority, especially considering the amount of money spent. 6-8 weeks is ridiculous. If you’re looking for a bbq and another company stocks it, do yourself a favour, buy there instead.

I ordered an outdoor dining setting in early Sept which has just arrived and it is now mid Oct. I didn't mind the wait as I was excited to be getting a new one. The outdoor setting came in boxes which wasn't a problem but 4 chairs were in a box and two were on their own. On setting the chairs up I noticed 4 chairs (which were in a separate box had foot tips on them and the two chairs on their own are missing their foot tips so currently they will scratch my tiles. I keep ringing BBQ Galore and no-one answers their phone....Pretty disappointed!!!!! What would you do?

Spent a few weeks doing the research and shopping around in July for a $10k outdoor kitchen. Chose Barbeques Galore and was told it would be a month for delivery (mid August), then was told mid October, now I call up today (early Sept) only to be told it's now going to be December (if it turns up at all). If I hadn't have called I'd be waiting until mid October to find this out. Don't deal with these guys if it isn't in stock - no people skills whatsoever. No idea what the quality of the kitchen would have been like as we didn't actually receive it, but based on some of the comments below re warranty I'm thinking maybe we dodged a bullet now.

Be careful buying from this chain. Everything is special order and nothing can be returned. I spent over $7000 on equipment for an outdoor island and the Blaze refrigerator was defective, it does not cool. Instead of just shipping a new one they say they are attempting to get a replacement from the manufacture but they don't get back to me and I keep having to call them or go into the store. It has been two weeks and I still don't have an answer from them! I could have ordered all my equipment online for less money but wanted to use a local vendor in case of issues like this. Instead of standing behind the products they sell they just tell you its on the manufacture, even if it is a defective product that does not work from day one! That is not the way to do business! Again the product was delivered by BBQ Galore defective. It never worked!!! They just pass the buck to the manufacture. Why should I buy from you If you are unwilling to stand behind the products you sell? You should post a sign in your stores that says no returns and if something does not work when it is delivered you must go through the manufacture. Replace the defective product that you sold or get it replaced by the manufacturer don't make the Customer do the work!!

Bought Kamado Joe- waiting 3 months and still they have not delivered the ikamand and cover. This is despite these products being available at other stores. When I made a complaint , they cancelled my order, suggested i was being difficult and advised i should buy it online and hung up. Id suggest buy a big green egg from someone else as bbq galore have exclusive distribution of kamado joe and the service ive experienced from them has been completely unsatisfactory.

Had a gas line run from the basement to the backyard for our new Weber Spirit II. Two gents were in and out in about an hour, and the installation seems flawless (not an expert). Also gave me tips on how to break-in and maintain the grill - would definitely give them future business!

Review by Anonymous User I was worried about buying something so expensive from bbq galore since I had never heard of them. They had the best price around by a couple hundred dollars. I was wrong to be concerned, I had no issues with the purchase, shipping, or delivery. (Shipped all the way from CA to PA in about a week.) Delivered on an 18 wheel truck then brought down my driveway into my garage by a forklift. I would highly recommend buying the big joe 3 from bbq galore!
