Jul 21,2018The service we received from Barton and Co was amazing. We accepted an offer on our house within 3 weeks and then completed the sale within 8!! Jim was always there to help us with anything we needed and always gave us clear and honest advice. Barton did a great job putting our house on the market and advising us but what impressed us more was all the help we received afterwards to push the sale through as quickly as possible. We never thought it could be that easy!!

Overall we can't fault the service Ollie provided us - from our initial viewing to offer and throughout the conveyancing he always knew exactly what was going on and kept us updated via phone and email. If Ollie was unavailable due to viewings, James was up to date and knew what was going on too. As a result our purchase has been relatively pain free! I would definitely recommend Barton & Co without hesitation and I'm sure if we ever sell our home in the future we will use them

Aug 16,2017I initially rented the property with five other tenants through another agency that was extremely unreliable. The building had mold in one room because there was insufficient air circulation, the boiler didn't work and still the agency would not even respond to our emails. Luckily, our landlord decided to switch to Barton and Co. Ollie immediately took action and fixed all problems although they were still leftovers from the previous agency. Extremely reliable and fair!

Jul 30,2017After letting my house with a high street agency who provided appalling service, I was feeling very cynical when I started to look for an agent who would sell the property (determined that the previous agent would see no more of my money than I had to give). James understood my hesitation at trusting another agent, kept me in the loop at every step and, despite some hold ups caused by the letting of the property, ultimately managed to the sell the house for full asking price to the first people to view! I couldn't have asked for better! Absolutely recommend this agency.

Jun 26,2017i cannot speak highly enough of the service that James provided from the start to completion. The first viewer James escorted around my property made an offer and purchased the property! He is a thoroughly personable and professional person and nothing was too much trouble. He kept me updated every step of the way and he was not only efficient in keeping solicitors talking but also liaised with the sales agent on a regular basis with regards to the new build i was purchasing. There's a lot to be said for a smaller estate agent and this was certainly reflected in the personal service provided.

He kept us in touch all through, on what he warned was going to be a stressful time in our lives - he certainly helped us along the way in a very personable and professional way. Apr 13,2017Having interviewed several estate agents with regard to managing our rental property we settled on Barton's as we took to Ollie straight away and felt a smaller agency would provide a more personal service. There were minor problems with getting the tenant set up but these were sorted quickly and now nearly 3 months on all is running smoothly. James has also been very helpful in sorting out minor issues. All in all a good experience.
