When I opened the box I was immediately reminded of my first set of Hogan irons in 1972. I can not think of a better looking golf club. It’s still cold here in Ohio but the time I did spend hitting balls at an outside range I was impressed with how soft feeling the clubs were even in the cold. I ordered the regular shaft in graphite and found it to be very stable not whippy. To be honest at age 72 I think the Edge irons would be better suited for me. All in all a great iron that equals or exceeds anything by any manufacturer on the market today.

After ordering the PTxPro irons last month, and loving them, I ordered 3 of the Equalizer wedges to complete the set on Wednesday, and they were delivered "as ordered" the following Monday. Great looking clubs. I'll write a product review to follow.

I ordered the PTX Pro and three wedges. They arrived within two weeks and I took them out to play yesterday. They look and feel awesome, when you pure it...hot. Knife through butter! I played Hogan directors and apex in the 70’s & early 80’s and loved them. I am thrilled with this set.

This is the 3rd set of irons I have purchased from Hogan and all the experiences have been great, but this last purchase has been beyond great! Clubs are beautiful, love the new grips and the workmanship and even though I knew the building of custom clubs would take awhile, my new set of PTX Pro irons were shipped within 2 days and arrived in less than a week. I am already at the indoor range enjoying the best irons I have ever owned. Absolutely an A++ positive experience.

I ordered the PTxPro irons on 2/26/20 and received them on 3/3/20. They were delivered a lot sooner than I expected. I can't say much about forgiveness. I just don't know. Maybe my bad shots are just to bad to forgive. What I do know is that a pure strike is rewarded with a great feel, great sound and a ball flight that is exciting to watch. Love these irons.

I do believe that the irons will need adjusting for me. I had my Hogan Edge irons bent for my swing at Spaulding at the time. I will find out the lie that I have and report back to you. Thank-you Ed Reed

I ordered a PTX Pro iron set online using the Hogan custom fit program and received a shipping notice three days later. Surprised that a custom set was assembled and shipped that quickly, I called customer service to be sure that this was truly a custom built order. The CSR was super helpful, checked the order and confirmed that the irons were custom built. He said my order hit their production schedule at the right time...great service from Hogan Golf. Two constructive comments: The on line club trade up program through Dallas Golf needs to be updated to allow more club options...I had to contact Dallas Golf to get values on clubs that should have been on their trade in value offerings. The other suggestion is to give more grip options in the custom order field. With only standard and midsize options, it limits those players who play with a standard grip and add extra tape wraps to slightly increase the grip size. Otherwise it was another great buying experience with Ben Hogan Golf.
