Jul 05,2020I have been playing golf for 58 years of my life and I am always trying new clubs. In fact, I brought three new drivers last year ($1,600.00) and I purchased a new set of irons and wedges every other year, usually Callaway. Last year, I purchased the Hogan PT Pro irons, I took me a while to get use to them but what a set of clubs. I purchased the Ft. Worth wedges and they were like the clubs I hit when I was in my teens. The Hogan driver came later, I had trouble hitting it but one day it worked for me and I going to keep this one for some time. I like the business plan but I wish they could improve on their customer service. The Hogan group is lacking in internal communications. Please bring back those Ft. Worth wedges! Plans are to buy and new set of irons in 2021. Great Product and work on improving your service levels.

Jul 02,2020I ordered demo clubs, driver/4 wood, PTX Pro irons, Icon irons, and Equalizer wedges. Clubs were delivered promptly and gave me chance to evaluate shafts clubs. I am a five handicap and play a lot of golf, retired. The Driver and 4 wood have an amazing sound and feel...so east to hit. I love my current driver Taylormade M3 440cc but does not compare to Hogan Driver. Ordered a whole set of Hogan clubs after trying. Driver through wedges. Icon irons...they feel so good. I previously was a Taylormade guy with M2 irons but no more. The equalizer wedges have a great look and feel and perform as good as they look. Can’t wait to get the new clubs and get them in my bag. The process of being able demo clubs for two weeks was great. I played 8 rounds with the demo clubs really helped me settle in on what I wanted.

Jul 02,2020Being something of a golf history buff, I've always appreciated the quality and aesthetics of Hogan clubs (although there were a few anomalies like the cast irons produced during the Callaway years). I was extremely pleased with my 1990 set of stiff-shafted (2-SW, Apex 4) Hogan Edges until middle age caught up with me... Just tried out my brand new set of factory-customized--1" longer and 2 degrees upright--BH Edges (4-PW) with KBS Tour Regular 90 shafts and could not be happier with my reasonably-priced purchase: the clubs look just great while I'm hitting the longer irons the way I used to do 25 years ago... (Played five holes from the ladies' tee at my home course in the evening and hit four greens in regulation without the use of driver, fairway woods or hybrids, driving only with the 4 iron.) Pleased to see the classic company making a comeback and carrying on the brand's venerable tradition. Great customer service, too.

Jun 29,2020I bought the black ptx pro irons and 2 equaliser wedges and also a putter,changed from using mizuno irons to Ben Hogan.these are a beautiful looking club,they play and feel magnificent aswell.not joking.money well spent and I’m playing well with them.played 4 rounds of golf with them.i play of 5 so I had them made to my measurements.thank you Ben Hogan

Jun 25,2020I ordered the new UiHi 18* 3 iron on May 16 and just got it earlier this week, June 21. That is a long time due to COVID back up and delays. With that caveat out of the way, the club itself is beautiful and confidence inspiring at address. I bought it to replace a Titleist 718 T-MB 17* 2 iron, which I found to be too small and difficult to hit. My first time out the new club performed very well - 225 to 240 off the tee with a soft feel on reasonably well-struck shots. For the money ($110) this is the best deal in driving irons. A used Titleist 718 T-MB, TM P790, or Miz MP-20 HMB could run you $125 + on eBay and this club looks better (IMO) and performed much better than one of those for me. I know soft forged clubs tend to get dinged up in the bag, so mine has a cover on it when not in use. We will see how it holds up over time. For now I am very happy with the purchase, but the wait for the club was annoying.

Jun 14,2020GREAT CLUB I am 78 years old& play the senior tees.my wife bought me a hogan g53 driver 10.5 for a present.I took it to the range & hit it well.I could not tell how far because of my poor eyesight.First round I hit it further than EVER before.On one dog leg I hit it through the fairway over the cartpath thru rough & trees & into the street.never saw that before.bad hits found fairway/good hits set new personal best. lest you think I am just getting stronger I could not finish because of loss of breath. next round same results & again could not finish ( 9&8 holes)Well the sun is coming up.try again& if result is the same and I can play 18 holes a matching 3 and/or 5 wood may be in my future!

Jun 14,2020I bought a new set of Hogan Edge irons in '95 and loved them. Last year I bought a new set of Edge irons and I'm ecstatic over them. You can have them custom built like I did. At 62, I don't quite hit as far as I used to but had them bent 2 degrees strong with regular flex Recoil graphite shafts and they are smooth feeling with very minimal feel on the stingers. Quality and price point make these a very good bargain. I also got the Equalizer wedges. 4 wood, and a putter with the money I saved, love them too, all for around the price of a set of P790s. Check for specials, you can save even more.

Jun 11,2020I am looking for a traditional blade-style putter and BHB01 putter grabbed my attention. This seems to be a classy club with the elements I am looking for. However, I am bit dissapointed with two things. First of all, the club is only available with SuperStroke grips (4 options). I have SuperStroke grip in my current putter and I am not a big fan of it. I also think it's odd combination to have very traditional feeling club mixed with a very modern grip, inventend like 2 years ago. I would appreaciate if you would offer more traditional grips as well, like some basic ones from Golf Pride. Another challenging thing is that there is no demo available for putters. I live in Finland where Ben Hogan clubs are very rare. I don't see them anywhere or have access to test any of them. I am interested on the club but find it challenging to buy a putter online without a chance to test it first (or at least to find more information about it).

Jun 03,2020Great Service… I’m 59 year mid handicap player and returning customer which play with iron blade, Only. So after 5 years with my BH Ft. Worth iron set, I thought Now it’s time to build more distance into the game. Therefore, I grape the change to ordered BH DEMO Driver and Fairway clubs for testing. Few days after the ordering did I receive the DEMO package by UPS. I was impressed, when opening and looked into the packed, (2) brand new clubs, never used before, ready for testing… At the same day I had a tee time and brought the new Driver and Fairway 5-wood with me to the golf courts. No time for driving Range or practice that day, went straight to the game. After the 3 first holes with my normal irons, I felt ready to try my new Fairway #5 wood from tee 4. First time ever to swing a Fairway Wood thru the green, so exiting. Wow… What a feeling to hit the ball straight and so long, not to forget the sound from the smash it generate, awesome. Later on that round it was tee time for my first Driver swing – again magnificent sound and feeling reflex into your body when smashing the ball in sweet point. After some more play and practice days with the DEMO Drivers, I was convinced and did order my new drivers fitted for my Grip Size and Swing Speed. Jun 02,2020My previous review was one star due to customer service issues regarding wrong shafts. The Edge irons are the best irons I've ever hit. High and soft, and no loss of distance due to the weaker old school lofts.This is a superior product.......

May 23,2020Just got my Icon irons and couldn't be happier. Beautiful lines and wonderful trajectory and feel from the club. I'm an 11 handicapper and firm believer that you really can't take golf to the next level unless your playing with a traditional iron that sends feedback to you on every strike of the ball. I can't say it enough, these clubs look as good as they feel and perform. I had them shipped to my vacation home last week and I've played 3 rounds already. I can't wait to get back home to play my regular club course. Thanks for the wonderful customer service! Lex

May 16,2020I have been playing golf for over 35 years and have had numerous iron sets from nearly every major pro line manufacturer out there. I have NEVER had a set of new irons that have been more enjoyable to hit and game improving than my new Ben Hogan PTx Pro black irons and Equalizer wedges!! I have approximately 20-25 rounds played with them this Spring and I couldn't be happier or more satisfied! I had them custom made after trying the 2 club demo program from Hogan. I had them made with the UST Recoil shafts and adjusted to the correct lie and length. From the moment I started hitting them my shots were MUCH more consistent for distance, accuracy and shot shape and felt so buttery smooth!!! My friends have been AMAZED how my ball striking has improved and my distance has increased. I am approximately 1/2 to 1 full club longer without having to swing harder. They are VERY consistent in their gapping as well. My USGA handicap index has gone from 11.7 to 8.5 in just 3 months! I wouldn't believe this could be possible if I didn't live it myself! My confidence has sky rocketed and I can't attribute this to ANYTHING else but my new Hogan clubs! Thank you Ben Hogan for making such a QUALITY product at such an AFFORDABLE price! May 13,2020I have had a chance to play a few rounds with the PTX-Pro irons and they perform very well. The harder I swing the deeper the draw. The distance is approximatly five to ten yards added to my previous Taylormade P-790. I will be trying some of the other clubs in the Ben Hogan line in the future.

May 07,2020I have demoed 3 different types of irons, 1 set of wedges, and one set of hybrid/utility iron. Ben Hogan brand has delivered on time and with exceptional equipment. Any time that I asked a question, I had a response within 2 days. I was not sure what to think at first when I saw Ben Hogan still making equipment. I was hesitant and thought they were a little "aged" and didn't make equipment that competed with the "big guys." I couldn't have been more wrong. I love the equipment, the customer service, and the try before you buy deal. I also LOVE the cheaper prices. I'll be dead before I spend $500 on a driver or $1,500 on a set of irons. ESPECIALLY when they're on the rack and have no idea if I could hit them. I will say that the only challenging thing Hogan brand offers is you have to do research or get fitted for clubs BEFORE you try the demo program (or you could simply just try lots of different things and see which one you like best). But if you prepare yourself in advance, the time shouldn't be an issue. Heck, golf teaches us to play one shot at a time, so we should be getting good on this patience thing, right? In conclusion, I will be having a set of the Icon irons in my bag (most likely a Ben Hogan bag) by the end of the year. I will always recommend Ben Hogan equipment proudly because I was once a doubter, but now a huge fan and believer in the product.

I had a chance to buy my irons at a discount from leading manufactures thru contacts and such, I chose to buy the PTX Pro irons and was willing to wait the 29 days for them. after hitting them I couldnt be happier. thank you!!!!
