Mar 10,2025Achtung Betrug! Finger weg! Kontaktaufnahme zu Anfang war schnell, freundlich und professionell. Wir haben 3 Dokumente in jeweils 4 Sprachen übersetzen lassen wollen. "Übersetzungen" kamen sogar fristgerecht zurück. ABER zwei Übersetzungen waren gut, eine sehr mangelhaft (auf keinen Fall wurde diese nochmal durch eine zweite Person überprüft) und eine schlichtweg katastrophal und offensichtlich mit ChatGPT gemacht! Es gab dann kenerlei Rückmeldung mehr auf die mehrfache Bitte um Überarbeitung/Korrektur oder alternativ einer Rückerstattung des bezahlten Geldes! Das heißt also, die Hälfte des Geldes verbrannt und seit Monaten können wir mit diesen Dokumenten nicht weiterarbeiten!

Jan 30,2025Ich kann mich den warnenden Bewertungen nur anschließen: kein Stern wäre die korrekte Bewertung. Auch bei mir wurde nicht in die korrekte Sprache übersetzt. Weder auf E-Mails noch auf Anrufe wurde reagiert. Einschreiben kam als unzustellbar zurück. Auch ich kann nur warnen. Betrug.

Jan 08,2025In mid December I requested a certified translation of some documents for the marriage office. After payment I never heard anything again and asked several times for it. Last night the translations showed up after me telling them previously in one mail that I would report them to the police. The translations are totally fine but after this whole experience I would definitely not recommend this office.

Nov 05,2024Verzögerung der Übersetzung. Eine Rückerstattung zu erhalten hat viel Zeit, E-Mails und Facebook Nachrichten gekostet. Es gibt günstigere und viel verlässlichere Alternativeb. Unbedingt nicht zu empfehlen.

Aug 26,2024Achtung Betrug! Wir haben Geld überwiesen und keine Übersetzung erhalten. Berlin Translate setzt anscheinend darauf, dass niemand wegen kleinerer Beträge zur Polizei geht.

Jul 29,2024Ich hätte am liebsten auch keinen Stern vergeben. Gefragt war eine Übersetzung ins Englische zweier Geburtsurkunden, eine davon auf Französisch. Bekommen habe ich eine Übersetzung ins Deutsche und die andere ins Französische. Völlig falsch. Nachdem ich Berlin Translate nicht erreicht habe, telefonierte ich mit der Übersetzerin Francoise Richert, die mir sagte, sie hätte Berlin Translate darauf hingewiesen, dass sie keine Übersetzungen ins Englische übernähme. Warum hat sie es trotzdem getan? Das Unternehmen habe ich vier Mal um Korrektur und Rückerstattung gebeten (120 Euro) Nichts. Keine Antwort. Ich kann nur warnen. Betrug.

Jul 22,2024Ich habe in kurzem Zeitraum zwei Übersetzungen für Berlin Translate übernommen. Beide Rechnungen wurden nicht bezahlt. Mahnung, Anwaltsbrief, Drohung mit Mahnantrag - alles Fehlanzeige. Kollegen berichten von ähnlichen Erfahrungen. Ich kann vor diesem Unternehmen nur WARNEN. Könnte ich keinen Stern vergeben, dann hätte ich das getan. Ich vermute, dass die guten Bewertungen selbst geschrieben oder gekauft sind. Also VORSICHT!!

Jul 02,2024Übersetzungsauftrag wurde am 23. April erteilt. Erst am 2.5. wurde der Zahlungseingang bestätigt. Eine Übersetzung wurde jedoch nie geliefert, auch auf Nachfrage nicht. Das vereinbarte Honorar von 53 Euro habe ich nie zurück bekommen. Irgendwas läuft dort richtig schief. Keine Empfehlung. Ich werde Anzeige erstatten.

They responded promptly and professionally, provided pricing details, and assured me that the translation would be ready in just a few days. Communication was smooth, and they seemed trustworthy. We exchanged emails, and they issued an invoice for over one hundred EUR, which I paid via wire transfer to their following account: Account Name: Berlin Translate Address: Jablonskistr. 25, 10405 Berlin, Germany As soon as I sent proof of payment, they disappeared. No confirmation, no replies, no translation. I followed up multiple times via email—no response. Their website lists a phone number, but after calling repeatedly for several days, I never got an answer. After more than a week of silence, I looked them up online and found other people reporting similar experiences. Realizing I was not going to get what I paid for, I had to hire a certified translator from the official list of recommended professionals on the French embassy's website, which cost me additional time and money. I filed a complaint with the Berlin police, and thanks to police intervention, I was able to recover my money. However, Berlin Translate never responded or delivered any service. Avoid them at all costs. If you need an official translation, go through certified professionals recommended by embassies or official authorities to avoid falling victim to situations like this.

Jun 16,2024Sehr sehr schnelle Übersetzung bekommen, da ich ein Notfall hatte und mein Termin in kürze wäre. Sehr günstig im Vergleich zu den anderen Übersetzer. Hat mir sehr geholfen ich weiß jetzt immer welchen Übersetzer nehmen werde. Die Bewertungen verstehe ich nicht, ich bin vollsten zu Frieden und würde es immer weiter empfehlen. Dankeschön

Apr 05,2024I had a very similar experience with the rest of people here. I have already filed a criminal case against them. I have also contacted the server provider Ionos, so that they can shutdown the operation. I will likely not see the money I paid them but I want them to stop scamming other people [UPDATE] I am seeing that a lot of people are still getting scammed. Upon filing a complain against Florian Ravaux (www[dot]polizei[dot]hessen[dot]de/service/onlinewache/) , I informed Florian by submitting the document in his webpage that a case was filed already. Promptly after, he responded and gave the translated document. I demanded a refund, which he compiled. The case was transferred to Berlin as the crime was technically done there. I wanted to push through with the case so they can investigate on it and prevent future fraud. However, they dismissed the case as I am the only one then filing a complaint. For those that are still about to file, please give the reference number of my case 0404 1817 1635 so that they can establish pattern of deception and fraud.
