Dec 06,2017After 15 years of using the same travel company for bespoke holidays, we met Sanjay at The Adventure Travel show in London, and really hit it off. He promptly put together an itinerary that appealed, in terms of content and price, so we went ahead and booked. Everything worked perfectly, from the moment we touched down in Chennai to the time we departed, three weeks later. Hotels, guides, driver - all spot on. It really was the trip of a lifetime and I have no hesitation in recommending Bespoke India Travel to anyone thinking of travelling to that neck of the woods. Well done Sanjay!

Dec 01,2017We met Bespoke India at a travel show and were impressed with their enthusiasm and knowledge.In addition to knowing their stuff we liked their preparedness to be flexible and tailor make our trip as well as the absence of high pressure sales techniques. We finally settled on a 15 day introductory trip visiting the main sites in Rajasthan with some down time to avoid being in the car every day.The trip was excellent and the service on the ground in India was very good-we were always met at each location and when we travelled by train or by plane we were met by local representatives.Our driver was excellent and despite the chaos of Indian traffic we always felt safe.The standard of the car was excellent and it arrived clean and freshly valeted every day together with a plentiful supply of bottled water. The choice of hotels from Bespoke India was great with variety and high standards-the heritage hotels which they recommended were all very good and slightly different from the standard HolidayInn/Sheraton etc.We had a homestay hotel in Agra which was different but very enjoyable. Overall a great trip and we would have no hesitation in recommending Bespkoke India to anyone contemplating a tour.

Nov 13,2017“You want an Indian Adventure?”Sanjay asked. “ We will organise it and you will have the best adventure of your life!” We did! It was fantastic! We met Sanjay and Meera from Bespoke India Travel at the Adventure show last year, and trusted them in the organisation of my first and my husband’s third trip to India. The flights, cars, drivers, guides, hotels, trains, walks, excursions, tuk tuks, sights, sounds, smells, and all our absolutely incredible experiences of India over 3 weeks were organised by this brilliant travel company. From feeling I was on the set of the ‘Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ in our first hotel in Amritsar, to the beautifully painted Tibetan Chonor House in Mcleodganj, to my new favourite hotel in the world, with views of the Himalayas, and with the best staff ever, and such delicious food, is the wonderful Wildflower Hall Hotel. The Golden Temple and the volunteer kitchen feeding 20,000 people a day was just phenomenal, and the Reteat ceremony at the Border.....Crazy! Our guide, Ajay, was entertaining and full of knowledge, that we soaked up and gave us the first chapter in our India history. Diwali in Praghpur was so special, with a Bagpiping band and fireworks for five hours! Catching the Toy train to Kalka from Shimla and travelling through the Himachal Pradesh region was so beautiful, with the beginning of our fabulous adventure in India so memorable and incredible. Jiit, our Daramshala guide and local expert was delightful and gave us many Yoga philosophies to carry with us.The contrast from the peaceful forest and clear mountain air to the busy markets in Delhi, with its energy and excitement was remarkable. The bazaars, Gandhi’s memorial gardens and the meeting of Lambo, our guru guide was such an whirlwind experience. Then on to the Taj Mahal. How could an architect and builders create that beautiful building over 600 years ago? Nishant, our Agra expert, took us to the Taj at sunset and sunrise and although it was incredibly busy, the calm and meaning of the memory of Mumtaz was so powerful. The Samode Haveli was the beautiful hotel in Jaipur, where we rode the fabulous “Jumpa” the elephant up to the Amber Fort. Going to the Hindu ceremony with the hotel staff was so moving and the food was again delicious. Parveen, our guide was fascinating, and prompted more chapters in the history of this incredible country. Shahpura Bagh was almost life changing, with the Maharajah and Maharina taking care of the community and the local school, where we visited with Shabeer, the local artist. Children from the poorest families were receiving their education courtesy of the Trust and collected their uniforms when we were there. The sparkling turquoise of the kingfishers on the lake and walk through the market with a wedding party dancing through gave us more new experiences. Then to Udaipur and the lakes. Another beautiful hotel with wonderful staff- the Trident. Great to walk into the main town, as well as relax by their pool and be peaceful, overlooking the lake. Jodhpur and the blue buildings was our final destination We stayed in the Raas hotel, an oasis of calm in the busy streets, with a view of the Merengah fort, and the calling to prayer from the mosque was special. Suddenly, the trip was over. Sat at Jodhpur airport waiting for our plane to Delhi and then London, was almost surreal. It was sad saying goodbye to our drivers Rohit and Rajesh. They managed to avoid people, dogs, cows, pigs, bikes, ‘scootys’, buses and cars, but looked after us and drove us safely to every destination. Our guides were all superb. Our hotels were all fabulous. We have so many incredible Indian memories and we certainly had the best Adventure of our lives. I am looking forward to the next one with this brilliant company!

Nov 08,2017An amazing holiday. Everything was so well organised. The hotels selected were varied, palaces, jungle lodges and heritage hotels, but all had something special to offer. We visited both Jim Corbett and Ranthambore National parks. We saw tigers in both which was brilliant. A sloth bear, elephants and porcupine also put in an appearance at Jim Corbett. The guides were very knowledgeable and enhanced the experience. They also sorted out all the practicalities of each visit. Our driver for the holiday was excellent. Unflappable even in the face of rush hour in Delhi. Sanjay listened to exactly what we wanted and was very helpful throughout. The Indian representatives met us when we arrived at each hotel and carefully went through our schedule with us. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bespoke India Travel.

They were there to meet us at each destination, organised us fantastic guides and our driver was amazing. All at a decent price. I can't rate them highly enough. Thanks again bespoke india!

Nov 02,2017This was our first trip to India and would have no hesitation recommending Sanjay and Bespoke Travel. The 3 week trip was well organised and perfectly paced with a mix of frantic cities followed by relaxing rural retreats, the carefully chosen heritage hotels were wonderful. We were looked after from the minute we touched down to the minute we departed. The ground handlers in Rajasthan were excellent throughout and our driver was an absolute joy. Looking forward to future trips to this wonderfully crazy, chaotic country.

We'd heard from other travellers that visiting India can sometimes be a stressful experience, but our holiday was entirely stress-free thanks to the brilliant organisation skills of our hosts. All the tour guides provided were enthusiastic and insightful and our driver was friendly, punctual and always willing to go the extra mile to help us enjoy our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and we really felt we could relax and enjoy all of the amazing sights that India has to offer. I cannot recommend Bespoke India highly enough!

Oct 15,2017We visited the travel show London Olympia and met Sanjay on the Bespoke India Travel stand. He was very helpful and knew a lot about India. He came up with many brilliant ideas and helped plan 3 weeks away in Rajasthan and Kerala. He let us tweak the holiday to suit our needs, we found Sanjay to be very helpful and was always quick to rely by email or telephone. Our holiday was very lovely and well organised. The Bespoke agents in India checked in with us regularly, just to make sure that our holiday ran smoothly. We would defiantly recommend this company, as they were very helpful. Even in India the staff were brilliant, there for all our needs. Thank you to Sanjay and all the staff at Bespoke, for making our holiday very memorable.

Sep 27,2017An excellent experience. Bespoke India Travel were amazing. At the planning stage they truly listened to what we wanted, unlike other companies who seemed to have their own rigid agenda, and helped with useful suggestions. When we landed at Jaipur we did not know what to expect ... but we were impressed. At each of our 6 stops the local representative met us, ensured the hotel check in was ok and arranged timings for the local guide and tours. The local guides were excellent and went beyond just showing you the tourist sights to taking you to great (non pushy, quality) shops, that we wanted to go to, and giving a bit more of the local experience by taking us to local fruit and veg markets etc. Our driver stayed with us for the fortnight ... he was lovely, safe and really caring, and at our disposal on leisure days. The hotels picked were great from havelis, to old palaces to modern luxury, which provided a lovely contrast. The organisation behind the scenes meant that we could just enjoy the culture and the holiday without being worried about administration and safety. I could not thank the Uk and Indian team enough.

Aug 27,2017Sanjay and his team organised our 2016 trip to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Ranthambore. Excellent support in the UK, with lots of suggestions and total flexibility. Great trip in India, with a particular mention for our driver, Uday. Always helpful, always smiling! Back to Sanjay to organise our 2017 visit, this time to Southern India. Very difficult for us to decide what to include and what to leave out, but Sanjay is very patient and always helpful. If you're thinking of a trip to India, you really MUST use Bespoke India Travel !
