Dec 09,2022Martin and Melanie. Wow just returned from a three and half week tailor made trip to India. Delhi, Agra, Bharatpur, Ranthambhor , Jaipur, then down to Kerala travelling with Bespoke India Travel. What a fantastic trip this was, temples, forts, mountains, wildlife and the Kerala backwaters. The itinerary was incredibly well put together by people who know India. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. The guides and drivers were excellent. The local office in India called regularly to check everything was ok. The accommodation was so diverse, hotels, palaces, houseboat and to finish, the fantastic Coconut lagoon. So glad we met Sanjay at Rutland Birdfair this year. I would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to travel to India. 10/ 10.

Dec 06,2022Bespoke India Travel was such a wonderful experience. They thought of everything from fresh water bottles in the car every day to brilliant tour guides in each destination. Whilst a guided tour won’t take you off the beaten track, it allowed us to visit some incredible places whilst always feeling very safe, comfortable and well taken care of. I never would have been able to see so much of India had we tried to do it on our own. BIT allowed us to experience so much and I will never forget what a magical place India is. We even saw the tigers we so desperately wanted to see!

Dec 05,2022If you are looking for someone to organise a bespoke trip to India, you have found it here. Sanjay from the very start gave us the feeling that he understood exactly what we needed. He listened to what we said and made a lot of very sensible suggestions. We spoke to other firms but nobody else gave us the confidence and enthusiasm that Bespoke India engendered. We are just back from a fabulous trip where we really felt "looked after" for the whole three weeks. It really was one of the best holidays we have had. When I come back from a holiday, I always enjoy giving some constructive feedback to the operator. Some don't want to hear, but Sanjay was extremely interested in our minor criticisms and very keen to iron out any problems in future. I would have no hesitation in travelling to India again under the guidance of Bespoke India Travel.

Our driver was great - friendly, flexible, and always ready with tips and recommendations. The hotels were charming and the itinerary that Sanjay put together was perfectly tailored to our needs and budget. I almost never arrange trips through an agent, but I’m glad that I did and did it with Sanjay. If we ever go back to India (which I hope we will soon), I’ll be doing it with Sanjay and Bespoke India Travels.

Sanjay is very knowledgeable and has all the right contacts in India. He’s always available to help when our internal flight was cancelled he booked us a new one in no time and with no extra cost! Wonderful!

Nov 05,2022My family and I had an unforgettable 2 week tour in India thanks to Bespoke India travel. I first made contact with Sanjay 10 days before we were due to fly out - to be quite frank in a bit of a panic! From our first conversation I knew Bespoke India travel would be the tour provider we booked with, due to their can do attitude, flexibility and focus on understanding the clients they are planning for - despite the time pressures we faced. Sanjay was immediately trustworthy and I could tell he had our best interests at heart - insisting on not taking any money before we were sure we had secured our Visas and our passports were back in hand. In the meantime he was proactive and put together a first draft for our family-tailored India tour whilst we waited to hear back from the consort. Sanjays dedication was eminent and despite the fact he was on holiday when the time came to book, he made sure that there was no delay in our tour confirmation. Whilst on the tour we were greeted with officials from local offices at every arrival to ensure that our trip went smoothly. Our tour guides were fabulous in adapting to our everyday needs and preferences. One standout character in our trip was Mr Kuldeep - our fabulous driver. He remained with us for the 2 weeks of the tour, keeping us safe on the hectic Indian roads and always greeting us with a smile. No one should do a tour without Mr K! Bespoke India travel always went the extra mile. Even after the tour had ended when I was struck down with illness on my ongoing solo travels in India - Sanjay and his local teams in Kerela and Dehli worked quickly to get me medical assistance and a plan to get me home. Bespoke India travel were there for our every need and ensured that it was a trip we would never forget ! I couldn’t recommend them more!

The hotels were unusual and often historic which added more interest to the holiday. Our guide Heymant was brilliant and made sure we didn't miss a thing. The food was mainly Indian and was delicious.

Oct 29,2022When we met Sanjay we outlined our ideas - Tigers and Taj. He put together an itinerary that was so much more. Although delayed by COVID Sanjay managed to move all our plans and deposit forward and our trip took place in October 22. On arrival in Delhi airport we were met by a local rep from Bespoke India Travel and from that point, up to our departure from Mumbai BIT were always there as promised at airports, hotels and stations to assist and guide us. The charming and extremely helpful reps answered our queries and thanks to their comprehensive assistance we never had any concern during our trip so we could enjoy the holiday of our dreams to the fullest. We kept hearing that Sanjay was checking that all was going to plan and we were enjoying ourselves. His care and service doesn’t stop when you pay for your holiday but continues until you are safely home. I will be recommending Sanjay and his team to family, friends and everyone who wants to travel to India or the other places he can take you to as he provides the best possible travel experience

Oct 28,2022Top job Sanjay and amazing on-ground team!! Drivers, hoteliers, guides were all caring, accommodating and professional. (Especially our driver Mr Bijou who took us on a last minute decided crazy diversion to see elephants at a temple for Diwali!! A real immersion into the culture! Thank you) We stayed at Brunton Boatyard, House boat from Punnamada Resort and then an UTTERLY amazing garden villa at Marari Beach resort - they were a perfect backdrop to a really amazing taste of Kerala! We were only there for 5 nights and I feel Bespoke India Travel gave us just the right ingredients (just like the delicious curries!) for a perfect immersion into the beauty and culture of Kerala. We are definitely returning to investigate the forests and mountains next time and stay much longer! And will definitely use Sanjay and co to make a PERFECT PACKAGE! Thank you all soo much 😊

Sanjay has a great attention to detail and we spoke at length about my three week trip, nothing was too much trouble. My holiday was simply amazing, money very well spent on such a special trip. Oct 11,2022We gave the brief to Sanjay at Bespoke India for a two week holiday to the golden triangle only 10 days before travel. Sanjay listened & worked very quickly to produce an itinerary to Rajasthan to include all flights, transfers, guides, entries to monuments. Even at the first go his itinerary met our original brief. He then worked equally efficiently to adapt to our suggested additions. And then everything was booked with a minimum of input from us. We booked the tour of Rajasthan just for our family. Everything was fantastic & really met our needs. From being met at the airport, to the lovely driver we had throughout, to the guides & the hotels. This is a holiday we will never forget. We had only one blip with a hotel but Sanjay’s response was simple “what do you want?” I said we wanted to move hotel. Within 1 hour the Delhi office had organised a transfer. This company cares about its clients & has a can do approach to responding, sorting stuff out & meeting client needs. India was the star for us in all its chaotic beauty. But to know there was always back up in India & via Sanjay was a great & calming presence. Thank you Bespoke India for one of the best holidays my family & I have experienced. We will never forget this corner of India nor your help in making it happen.

Jul 27,2022We can’t praise Sanjay highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble, including the MANY calls about Visa's. Sanjay included the Golden Triangle to our trip and it was exactly what we wanted without even knowing! We wanted a personal experience that included a train trip and we did just that. It seemed that what ever corner we turned there was a sign with our name to guide us through the airport or to our next stop. Every transfer was seamless. The guides in all stops were friendly and very knowledgeable, we learnt from them and for sure we laughed with them. The Tiger safari in Kanha National Park was exceptional, the naturists had the most amazing knowledge and passion for the Tigers, they could tell them from a distance and knew all the names. We ended our trip in Mumbai at a fantastic hotel with a fabulous restaurant. We had an incredible trip with Bespoke India travel and their partners.

May 28,2022We can’t praise Sanjay and his team highly enough. We have booked 2 trips with him - one to India and the second to Nepal. Sanjay curated 2 amazing itineraries for us. As 2 women travelling together we felt completely safe and had experiences of a life time. We have just returned from Nepal where we explored Katmandu- Bandipur - trekked in the Anapurna range and safari in Bardia National park. Absolutely perfect - it could not be better . We highly recommend - great value - great service and the best experiences. Can’t wait to go again !

May 11,2022We travelled to India with Bespoke India Travel. Our trip comprised of the Golden Triangle but also included visits to Amritsar for the Golden Temple, Shimla to experience the lower to middle Himalayas, a tiger safari and Mumbai. Whilst we have travelled as a family to a number of destinations including South America, South Africa, the Middle East and North America but this was our first trip to India which can be slightly intimidating. On a trip as a family to India, you want to know that everything is organised for you including hotels, travel including transit, guides and tours and that you have someone you can trust in case of any complications. Sanjay and Bespoke India Travel together with their team n the ground in India provided all of this at all times. We had complete confidence in Bespoke India Travel. We were looked after with an exceptional level of hospitality. The transfers from airports and trains to hotel were seamless. The guides were of the highest quality and were exclusive to us. We undertook a tiger safari in Rantambore and benefitted from quality guides and the best zones. We stayed in special hotels generally but particularly in Amritsar, Shimla, Delhi and Mumbai. They even managed to get us IPL cricket tickets. This allowed us to relax and enjoy the fully the exceptional and unique experience India offers. There were significant challenges in our trip in that it was scheduled for 2020 but had to be rescheduled due to Covid. Sanjay and Bespoke India Travel spent many hours obtaining reimbursement from airlines. India only reopened in the middle of February so it was challenging to arrange the trip in April with limited time and with the uncertainty following opening after lockdown. We then had to change our itinerary due to flight timing changes and to accommodate a revision we wanted to our itinerary to experience the IPL in Mumbai. Sanjay spent many hours sorting this. The flexibility to tailor the itinerary to our requirement was hugely appreciated and differentiating. Additionally, Sanjay guided us through the visa and other paperwork formalities. We had an incredible trip. Bespoke India travel and their partners in India were exceptional in arranging this trip to us. We would give them are highest recommendation due to their exceptional passion and commitment to providing the traveller with the best experience possible. We look forward to travelling through them again when we next travel to one of their locations.

I’ve booked trips with large, well known travel companies with deep pockets and small independent companies and I always favour the latter. I’ve had the privilege of 3 trips planned with Sanjay from Bespoke India Travel, each one a work of art! Every experience has been truly memorable, from beginning to end, all details thoroughly thought through and attended to personally, professionally and a passion that leaves you speechless! His enthusiasm is infectious, by the time you finish discussing the trip, he’s already got the foundations of your trip in mind, has a good idea which properties will work best for you. The first draft is put together and then the fun begins, as you work together, tweaking the itinerary and taking it to the next level, until you are left with a perfect trip planned just for you. Sanjay plans everything so expertly, finds the perfect balance of filling your days and ensuring the right amount of downtime to compliment your trip. He’s mindful of the amount of time spent on the road, suggesting ideal and interesting places to stop to break up any long journeys and very astute in matching you with a chauffeur that compliments your personality and sense of humour; with trips like this you are with him for a good portion of each day so it’s essential to get this right, an important detail that he takes very seriously. Everything he recommends is from personal experience, he’s stayed at the properties, knows the managers and they all speak very highly of Sanjay, it’s not just the travel company they know, it’s him. He really is planning your trip from personal experience, not from a glossy brochure. In all my days of planning trips, and there’s been a few, I’ve never known anyone get so excited about a trip he’s not taking !! Give him a call…… you won’t regret it!

The owner, Sanjay Oberoi, clearly has a thorough knowledge of India and he personalised our trip with an amazing itinerary staying at lovely boutique hotels and managed always somehow to get us the best rooms. This was our first trip to India and was absolutely memorable.
