Not only is he professional, transparent, and responsive (even on his days off) but he got my loans approved and closed when several other lenders told me it would never happen. Everyone at Better Lending was a dream to work with and made the stress of loans and buying a home a breeze. I can not recommend this company or Mr. Crooks enough. TRUST in him/them. Dec 08,2021Prior to trying to refi with better lending I tried with American finance. American finance paid for my appraisal and at the end I was unable to refi because I needed reserves that I didn't have..no biggie... then better lending told me they didn't see why I needed reserves and could refi and get me a great rate.. after a month of dealing with the paperwork and getting my appraisal that I had to pay 700.00 to get. They asked if I had reserves and that if I didn't they couldn't help me. So at the end of all this. I'm not getting my refi and I'm out 700 bucks for things I told them about and Sean told me oh no no you will be great we will get this all done... worst experience ever.

This is why I called her when I was looking to refi for the second time. She understands the process and gets things done right. He was able to break down the process in simple terms and compare it to other options I had on the table so that I was able to make an informed decision. Once I sent him the documents he needed, everything moved very quickly and I was able to close within 30 days. I am very happy with my new rate and monthly payment. Jul 06,2021I had the pleasure of working with Adam McCormick these past few weeks on a refinance. I had been dreading the process due to a poor past experience. This was not the case while working with Mr. McCormick. He immediately made me feel at ease explaining every step along the way, and what information I needed to gather. There were a few issues that came up along the way that were out of his control and wasn't anything that was directly related to anything he had done. Such instance was related to emails being sent from me, but were not going into his inbox. He dealt with this in a professional manner, and once he tracked down the problem, he thoroughly explained to me what was happening, and quickly resolved the issue. I can see how this can be very frustrating, but he was patient during his efforts to find out what was going on. I never felt like I was being left out of what was happening during this whole refinance process. He checked in with me very often, and kept me informed of where things were at. This was very comforting as I felt I wasn't going through this alone, and had a personal guide to help me along the way. My overall experience working with Adam was outstanding, and I am going to reccomended him to my friends and family.
