Birdkids is a family-owned business run by us, Clair and Glenn. We’re a husband and wife duo who love and value our customers. We sell "proper" toys (you won’t see a battery or screen on this site) with the proper service to match.

We are customer services; answering your questions quickly and efficiently. It's not uncommon for us to answer your queries late at night or early in the morning. We want Birdkids to be known for its incredible service.
Clair is our purchasing department; rummaging through catalogues is her forte; finding you the best in traditional arts, crafts and toys, our brands include Djeco, Tender Leaf Toys, Floss & Rock, Moulin Roty, Janod, Rachel Ellen, Galt and many more! however, we’re also keen to support and introduce smaller independent brands that you may not have known about.
We are the shipping team; making sure your orders get to you for when you need them. This gives us the flexibility to give you the best service possible.
Therefore, at Birdkids, we are what makes us different. We are experienced in business however, we are not "corporate" people. We love what we do and have taken that enthusiastic energy into our brand and business.

Dec 20,2023This was my second order with Birdkids. No problems with the first. Three items from this order arrived quickly and were good quality. However the two Christmas Eve boxes never arrived despite being listed as dispatched on the 27th November. It is now 18th December. I have been unable to get any response from the company. I have e mailed 4 times. I have phoned both listed numbers (website and Instragram) and left numerous voice messages. Both numbers go straight to voice mail. I have tried to make contact through the website. Absolutely no response from the company. I’m at a loss as to why this is.

Dec 19,2023I cannot remember if I was asked to give instructions of where to leave this parcel, or not, but the chosen courier left this and another parcel out in the open, on a damp patio round the back- not what I would have asked for, in case of rain. Otherwise, I would have given 5*s. I hope our grandchild loves this Djeco jigsaw once she opens it as it looks lovely.

Dec 16,2023The puzzles were well packaged and the box undamaged however the boxes inside were dirty and one was broken (looked used) so they must have been packed in that condition. Disappointing as Xmas gifts for babies and toddlers

She is making things all the time but when she opened the our present containing your gift she focused on it straight away and just loved the way it was self contained and she could get on with by her self.
