The no exchange policy is certainly not customer sensitive. Sizing in lounge wear can be tricky. Given the price point of the items, one would not expect this policy. And if this is the policy, it should be listed quite boldly when ordering. I am quite disappointed given I found the fabric wonderful. I now have a large order of clothing that I cannot wear. An update: Bleusalt customer service responded in less than an hour to my email to them and to the earlier review here. They were anxious to adjust their policy to enhance the customer experience. Based on many other customer reviews I read, it appears the company is now hearing how disappointed customers are with their experience despite loving the fabric and quality of the product. Kudos to them for their flexibility.
I really love the clothing. It's so soft and holds its shape. The only thing that just irks me is the length of time it takes to get my order. I am talking well over a week. Not once but every single time. I do use the free shipping but my typical order is about $250. I live on the east coast, so I understand that it is traveling across the country but other products I have ordered, the same day, with free shipping arrive several days before my order from Bleusalt and some orders are from overseas, Canada, and California. I just don't understand it. Is it Fedex? There always seems to be a delay. I will say if I don't care when the items arrive, I am always happy to receive my order. I also wish you could use the rewards in combination with a sale. I have yet to use any of the rewards I have earned because I cannot combine them with a sale, so why bother.
No return on sale items even if unworn. Horrible policy that isn’t clearly stated anywhere except in fine print when you go to start a return. For people who live on the other side of the country and aren’t sure of their size this doesn’t create repeat business. Update: nice to see the reply comes months later and too late to do anything further. Had tried to reach out and couldn’t get anywhere when this originally occurred
See updates-as nothing has changed. Original: I am TRYING so hard with this company. When I have made customer service inquiries regarding colors/sizes, if I finally receive a response it is only partially answered. To get an answer, I typically have to do all or some variation of the following: 1. Call (no live agent) 2. Reach out via Instagram (sometimes a response, sometimes not). 3. Text (they may answer, but typically cycle me through another route). 4. Email After all of this, I may finally get a response. I will then be told they will make an “exception” for me-which feels uber condescending. Sometimes the snark has even included an off tone “kiss-kiss.” And the piece de resistance…you are now charged $7 restocking…per order unless you want a credit. But they prefer you to ship items back in separate boxes per order. That seems to be a financial and sustainable waste. And this charge is for items that had quality and sizing issues. BleuSalt-I know you can choose to do better. Update: Hi, Lyndie- I just received an email sticking to the $7 fees unless I’m willing to accept store credit. Also a suggestion about undergarments as customer service admitted that some colors are sheer (ummm…of course I tried nude undergarments first). The answer to most questions are typically trite and end with a “no.” I believe I had 14 emails for a sizing issue last time. It feels as though they hope to wear the customer down and make them feel as though they (the customer) are the problem. I think you would be mortified if I shared screenshots of ALL of the correspondence. I want to believe that you want to help, but the girls running customer service are not helping BleuSalt. Let me know if you wish to help further. This is really on principle. $14 in fees is not going to break me, but in this case, it’s absurd. Second update- After this review was made, I was contacted-not by the owner. They agreed to remove the fees to return the items with issues, but now the item shows as already returned. Please help me understand how returns can be made so incredibly difficult and require numerous emails, texts, and phone calls. And in the end, there is still an issue. Readers, please note: I have ordered and kept numerous items from BleuSalt, but God help you if you have even the smallest of issue.
I started collecting pieces to build my Bleusalt wardrobe a couple of years ago. Starting with the black 3 foot wrap, I then added a two foot white wrap and 2 more 3 foot wraps in navy and light blue. This Christmas my husband gave me the cardigan, skirt and swing top in navy. Then recently I bought the tank dress in navy. I just love the look, the feel and the wearability of these clothes. They are easy to care for and so great for work, play or fancy nights out! I cannot wait to have a whole closet of Bleusalt clothes!
I really wanted to like this company. We need more US based clothing brands, but they need to be managed better. I waited for a sale, because the prices are high. Turns out, all sale items are considered final sale - no return or exchange. Okay, my fault for missing that detail in the fine print. However, I was sent the wrong item. All my efforts to reach the company to exchange for the correct item have gone unanswered. At the end of the day, I’m left with a product in the wrong size and color - a $150 sweatshirt. Save your money. The product is not equal to its cost. The customer service - or rather its complete absence - is quite expensive.
Terrible customer service and poor quality for the price. I made a very large purchase on Boxing Day and needed to exchange three items for a better size. I called their customer service line and left a message and they could not be bothered to call back. I followed up with an email and received a very brief email telling me that they do not exchange items and would not let me return the ill fitting items since they were purchased on Boxing Day and technically it was a sale. So now I am stuck with several hundred dollars worth of useless items that I cannot exchange for my size. The customer service here is truly appalling. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere that appreciates its customers
Bought items back in August and FedEx delivered at the wrong house.Sent multiple emails with pictures if my house/driveway etc.Bleusalt still not refunding me/sent multiple follow up email and nothing.Shame on you!
Terrible customer service. I ordered over 500.00 of clothing and upon attempting to exchange 2 pieces for smaller size it said NO RETURNS. I called customer service twice and left voice mails and emailed them as well and NO return email or calls. NEVER will order another thing again. BEWARE !
Received clothing that did not fit. Went to return-oooops! No returns on sale items. That’s crappy customer service and shady. In order to find this out-one has to dig on their website.
Shocked that I cannot return an item that had a small discount. Do not buy from this company online, feels like a total con. How can you sell online and have such a policy
I would like to commend Bleusalt for reading and responding to my prior negative review. I am taking the time to rescind and amend my review. I have never taken the time to rescind a negative review, but in this case I think it is warranted. ***This is my prior review- Now rescinded ( Deceptive and Unscrupulous. Their "sale" clothing is final sale (!?) This is NOT posted. This is a secret. The item shows a sale price. There is NO notification of final sale when the item is veiwed. No notification at all. The site sends emails advertising the sale with NOT ONE WORD that these are final sales. When the item is added to the cart, there is NO notification that this item is final sale. I have NEVER, EVER seen a company NOT TELL the customer that an item is final sale. NEVER. ) ***Again I commend their response and help.
I purchased two tops that were the same number size and they showed up and they are completely different sizes. The company will not exchange a refund me because I bought it on Black Friday. It was not explained when you purchased it because of the black Friday discount I can’t return it.
Appauling customer service. Cancelled my order because they had an issue with Apple Pay. Payment left my bank account quick enough so can’t see why. They said it wasn’t their fault and just cancelled the order and issued refund . I’ve Ordered £000 worth of clothing over the years but the have got too big for their boots and lost focus of customer service . Arrogance .!
They have the very worst client service. Forget getting anything on time and the customer service response is dismal. It should not take weeks (especially when client pays for the shipping) for the product to ship after paying hundreds of dollars could have been making interest on. I was excited to build my capsule wardrobe here but discontinuing per the other reviews been reading about the poor fabric quality. As an aside, I purchased a dress that was so allergic to could not wear but stuck with because was on sale. They should advise clients of the silver threads in some of the merchandise so don't have same reaction that I had.
I love the styles, incredible softness of the fabric and the fit of your clothing. I haven’t ordered for a while as before long the surface of the fabric shows pilling and small snags making it really only usable as at home loungewear. I have written to the company about this before but have not received an answer. I suppose there is nothing to be done about it. I am surprised though that I don’t see it mentioned in other reviews as it’s likely a common issue. It’s enough to keep me from ordering more clothing though.
I needed a wrap for a wedding. While ordering I noticed a pop up for a free scarf. I ordered the wrap and paid extra for expedited delivery. I tried to figure out how to add the free scarf but not being super computer savvy I couldn't. I immediately emailed customer service to ask how to get the promotional free scarf. They replied that I should have downloaded the app and ordered from the app while ordering-so no free scarf. I'm over 60 so APS aren't my thing. As a first time customer I'm disappointed. I won't purchase another product in the future. Just felt a little bait and switchy to me.
I just can’t with BLEUSALT - troubles with ordering, receiving a timely manner, getting in touch with customer service and then the quality…it’s just mediocre at best and shows wear like cheap fabrics from Target. When I reviewed negatively, 2 days ago, on Instagram - they blocked me. Heaven help us if anyone actually does not just say positive things. I’ll say it AGAIN here - it’s a marketing company not a clothing company (and I have worked in the apparel industry for over 30 years). The quality sucks - trust me, buyer beware.
The Cindy Pant bows at the knees after wearing them for less than an hour. I am happy to send a photo. I washed the pants in the bowing went away. But my biggest complaint is that the size chart said that a size 3 had a 33 inch inseam, and when the pants arrived, the inseam was only 31 inches. I emailed Bleusalt and told them this. I had already worn the pants, therefore, I did not feel right about returning them. But I asked if they could check stock to see if all the pants had 31 inch inseams or just mine. If the Cindy pant does not have a 33 inch inseam, it should not say so on the size chart.
S.M.P. S.
May 23,2024Great client service, I had a faulty item and they replaced it immediately when I sent them a DM. The oversize V neck is soo comfy and nice.
