We were ordering a bespoke memorial plaque for a wartime collision on our nature reserve, and after Brunel had been recommended to us by a few contacts we got in touch. The final piece is exquisite and beautifully made.

Sep 26,2024Had high hopes but don't be fooled like we was the so called light oak finish is nothing line light oak it's cheap looking amd mustard yellow amd no wood grain. Us ppl are ordering memorial.plaques and expect good rhingd but I've seen them reply to others who have complained and say it says on the website well I can't see it so jot clear enough if it is and they use the word effect I see what they are doing wirh this tbh when ordering such a special rhing for a person who isn't here grieving people are not going to be noticing not clear info are we now and the self adhesive thing we thought meant on the fake crap wood but it's on the actual sovereign base writing part so now gotta make sure it sticks straight. Also delivery took longer than the website says I had to email them but they dispatched it the following day. I hope the longevity of it will be good as I've read reviews aboit writing coming off so I hope all will be OK but majorly over priced and wish I checked reviews first or I wouldn't have used them! Conning grieving ppl and saying rhingd like it says blah blah on the website is just wrong! Make it clear if the wood is fake!!!!! I expect a reply with "it states on the website..." not interested. Re your reply, pir plaque was a team effort 5 of us and unhappy with the wood and ive read lots of comments saying the same I contacted you asking where my order is and did a review what are you going to do if I contacted you via your website? Nothing! You are indeed conning ppl wirh ober priced plaques and the wood lol mustard yellow isn't light oak!!!! Your website isn't clear about fake wood as with rhe price was expecting hifgt quality real oak but nope! I am not the only one wirh am issue amd I rhink.tiur company needs to sort your pricing and website oit so ppl know the truth about whsr they are ordering.

Sep 23,2024I have used Brenel Engraving now for about 14 years for Memorial Plaques on Benches and Trees for former RAF Policemen, friends and colleagues remembered in our Memorial Garden at Newark Air Museum. From looking at how to open an account through to entering details for a proof as to how it will look and ordering is fully explained and easy to follow. Top quality every time I would always reccomend to friends looking for a quality item. Awaiting my new Slate Memorial Plaque which I'm sure will be up to their usual high quality.

Sep 23,2024The customer service from each of the teams from quote ,design to delivery was fantastic . The end result of the bespoke deign was everything we had hoped for . The only reason it’s a four and not a 5 is that the screws it came with were not very strong and unfortunately one broke as we were fixing the plaque to the bench . But woukd definitely use them again and highly recommend.
