Jul 07,2022I purchased the Bushmaster OTF knife. It came in a decent amount of time. It looks good, it’s heavy and has a nice non-slip grip. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is when I got it, it didn’t work. Nothing I did would get the blade out. I was ready to send it back when I remembered another reviewer had the same problem. He took it apart and put it back together. It then worked. I did the same with the same result. It now works fine. I also added a bit of WD-40. Blade comes out and retracts fine. The switch is a bit stiff but manageable. I like it.

I recently had an issue with a product ordered and I was more than pleased with the way BUDK's customer service handled my issue. Their friendly personnel were responsive and amenable to helping me through my problem. Jun 23,2022Do not fall for this BS! I purchased a $20 sword Mystery Box (actually a pair--seemed like an even better deal at $15 each) and just received the shipment yesterday. "Three times the value" my a**! What I received was a Shadow Tactical (Shadow-Tactical-Tanto-Sword-And-Sheath-3Cr13-Stain-51328) which is listed AT $19.99 and a Red Guardian (Red-Guardian-Ninja-Sword-and-Kunai-Throwing-Knife-Set-with-Sheath-38927) which is listed at $24.99 ... so in BudK's Bizarro math apparently three times 40 equals ... 45. Go back to 6th grade, guys. This is obviously their way of offloading cheap stuff that isn't moving--especially when demanding a return would end up costing the buyer as much in shipping as just eating the purchase as a mistake. But rest assured I am never buying anything from BudK again when it is available elsewhere like Amazon or Kult of Athena--they've lost a customer of 35 years with these shenanigans. EDIT: Wow. Now seeing BudK's ridiculous reply, let me repeat--which I've now screenshotted--the listing PROMISES THREE TIMES THE VALUE IN THE BOX FOR WHAT IS PAID. I paid $30, and gor $45 worth of items, and they're laying it at my, the buyer's feet, for not being happy with the "surprise." Tells you all you need to know.

I'll never attempt to buy from or recommend Bud K again Bad and completely unfair business practices to decide to do away with a package sale AFTER people have ordered and paid for it, then cancel their orders without even offering another option. They first told me it was a computer system problem, then it was a marketing problem, then finally admitted that it was the company owner who decided to do away with the sale and cancel everyone who had already ordered and paid orders. Update, they now have offered me half of what I originally ordered so I had to add another item to attempt to somewhat reach my goal. Didn't offer any discount on items or shipping costs, so we'll see how this round goes and if I get it on time and in good shape. I am more than willing to post good reviews if this time goes smoothly and quickly.

I'm never disappointed with my purchases they have many great quality edged blades for the EDC or even a collector also affordable deals on many of the items. I will continue to be a regular customer, perfect for those holiday buys and birthday gifts or for the retired person who sets up booths at community events such as fairs or flee markets to make a great return from investing in some inventory from BudK..can't go wrong with BudK if you have an eye for things they have tons to choose from camping and survival gear to gun accessories and various bladed gems to search for

Most of the time, what you pay is what you get. But with BUDK, my expectations have been exceeded... More than once. Even the more affordable items are still worth the metal they're made of for us since we are able to do repairs and mods. Don't hesitate to check them out, the won't disappoint!

I spoke with customer service and was told they would give me a refund once they received the products. But because the items are not damaged, I have to pay return postage. The return postage is costing me $26.00. Can you say ouch?

Jun 09,2022The bag, is great, most likely the majority of the cost. Not much "survival" equipment that came woth the bug out bag though. Not much need for a lock oick set in the wilderness, i thought there'd at least be some paracord, or a Firestarter, or at there very least a lifestraw to filter water. I love the bag, will head to walmart to get the essentials a bug out bag should have.

Jun 08,2022I paid for a $160XXL bugout bag but only got $130 at most worth of stuff. There was only plastics one knife, a gun sock, and a couple discussing energy bars. I was pretty upset because UPS said it weighed 14lbs and I didn't get my moneys worth. I could've bought the bag and knife for $110 alone. Edit- heh refuse to acknowledged that they are going against the uniform commercial code. They made a Garentee that the bag would contain the amount you spent/ $50 more I spent $200 rush order processing middle of the day and my order didn't ship till end of day the next day on top of that they refuse to acknowledg that they only sent $120 worth of stuff again they made a Garentee for $200 $250+ and they gave me half of what I got. Its one thing to call it short, its another thing to give them half of what the value is
