Sep 03,2022As a Cystic Fibrosis warrior we have depended on masks well before the pandemic. You probably saw us in the airport or on mass transit as the only one wearing a mask before this tragedy happened? These masks have literally saved my life. I want this to be clear. I would have NO life outside of my home without the protection that these masks (or a good surgical mask) provide for me and my loved ones. My wife and I have ordered many, many times and have had little to no issues at all. Everyone that works for this company (that I have had personal contact with) has been amazing. Over the top amazing! They truly care about their customers! If you have any problems, they always have the correct answer! I couldn't be happier with the consistent excellence from both the product and the team behind it! Top marks all around! Do yourself a favor, try one for yourself! You won't be disappointed. Quick tip from a person who wears a mask everyday for the best results: Follow the size chart carefully. It's not difficult, take your time. If you find your mask to be to wide for a narrower face, adjust the side pulls to give you a nice, tight seal. Use the headband! It's a game changer! It's very comfortable even after hours of wearing your mask. Lastly, spread the word. This company deserves a ton of credit for their research and cooperations with health foundations! COVID and Fire Smoke Mask Wear
Sep 02,2022I tried this in both a size S and a size M, as did my adult daughter and sister. Neither fits me, or them, ideally. The M is clearly too large as can not properly seal on my adult female, narrow but long face. The size S will seal properly, but is slightly too small across the width of my cheeks and over my mouth to be comfortable. The size (circumference) of the ear straps is truly horrible-- the material is too thick and wide to be comfortable behind the ear of those who have small ears, as I, my sister and daughter all do. When tightened to create a good face seal, the wide straps significantly pull the top of my ears down and outwards. The head strap that comes with this mask remediates that, but I bought this mask so that I could have a safe mask design to wear when I can not wear a 3M Aura head strap mask (which fits ideally with a perfect seal and is comfortable all day), such as when I get my hair cut. The sizing of the mask material is also not great: the difference between a size S and size M makes it not fit a narrow adult face well comfortably. My sister, whose face shape is much like mine, was unable to get it to seal properly. I am 5' 5" tall and weigh 115 lbs, so clearly the Cambridge Mask sizing chart by weight was entirely not relevant for me or my adult daughter. The mask technology (multi-months of wear) is fabulous.

Aug 17,2022Fantastic mask. The convenience factor of its adjustment to perfectly seal around the face & take off to a resting position makes so much difference. While the filtration requires more effort to breathe the same volume, the air feels tangibly cleaner, and it is almost comfortable enough to sleep in. Unlike more clinical-looking masks, the casual feel & appearance of the thing, and the effortlessness of putting it on and off, goes a large way to reducing the social anxiety of making a statement of mask-wearing. My prime motivation in purchasing the mask is infection sequestration – the confidence of absolute minimal risk of receiving or perpetuating aerosol transmission. But it is also very valuable in mitigating the effects of pollution & pollen, which helps with asthma & allergic reactions.

Aug 11,2022I love your masks, but have trouble with my nose itching from tiny hairs that arise from the fabric after they've been worn a few times. My partner doesn't have this problem, so I order the masks for him now, and he loves them. Also, I ended up originally ordering a small sized mask for myself, thinking that this size would fit my very small face, but eventually, after trying all the sizes, ended up using the largest size which fit my face the best.

In my past two orders, the large valved masks have been cut considerably smaller than all my previous ones, making them uncomfortable to wear. I’m wary of reordering due to this inconsistency in sizing.

This is my fifth over a number of years and I find them invaluable for helping me to cope with my asthma during high pollen levels or when doing a dusty job. I can cycle and walk with friends in the countryside without having to worry. A small bonus of covid times means they are much more accepted by others now whereas five years ago mask wearing was more unusual.
