We are CamperKing, a manufacturer and retailer of campervan conversions built exclusively using VW Transporter vans.
All of the campervans we offer are built at our factory in the Warwickshire countryside. These are then sold at our HQ in Warmington near Banbury, and across our network of 17 dealers around the UK.
Our range comprises 5 different campervan configuration models. All of these are designed and built to suit specific types of user, and all of these have a full-length pop top roof with an upper bed system suitable for adults, plus either a rock and roll bed, or a Titan bed.
Across our range you will find options including integrated grills, full ovens, and fridge freezers.
Each of our campervans can be configured and customised to your exact specification, with everything from the paintwork to the furniture inside being able to be chosen by you. Should you like to drive a campervan away immediately, we hold a large selection of pre-built forecourt stock, with each of these vehicles available to be driven away on the same day. If you like the look of a campervan we have in stock but would like something changed, don't hesitate to ask, as the manufacturer we are able to customise any vehicle we have available to your needs.
In addition to the sale of campervans, we also offer a range of services and upgrade options from our HQ.
All of our campervans can be viewed by booking an appointment with our friendly sales team either in-person, or virtually. We also offer nationwide delivery on all of our campervans, meaning that you are able to purchase from us wherever you may be in the country.

Feb 01,2025After 3 years of ownership of a CamperKing van it brings me sadness to report that this has been one of the biggest financial mistakes I’ve made. While I’ve had some wonderful trips in the van, it has been a litany of highly expensive issues, ranging from electrical issues associated with the kit-out, to a succession of issues with the van itself, yielding an endless stream of repairs, warning lights and breakages. This is all despite the van being under 3 years old at purchase and usage being under 10,000 miles a year. If I had any financially viable option to return the van I would, and it pains me to say the van dream, for myself, has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Jan 23,2025We were at Camperking Newcastle today to get our projector & screen fitted. Outstanding service by all. Friendly, polite, informative & very helpful staff throughout the whole visit. Once the projector & screen were fitted with the professional, neat & tidy service that Camperking provides, we were taken through the storage, set up & operation in an easy to understand way. We also had the chance to explore the options available for the van conversations in the showrooms. I doooo like the Titan beds. Much more comfy than the R&R one we have & more room in the van. A lovely visit, hosted by excellent staff + they cleaned my van whilst we were there. What more could you ask for = excellent service, fantastic fit by friendly, polite & knowledgeable staff. The van is just incredible every single detail is perfect. The time and effort taken is absolutely visible. It was an absolute event picking it up everyone in the site was excited for people picking their vans up. Van is amazing and service was spectacular

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by Richard who showed us around all of the options and left us to wander on our own. Richard helped us understand what we did and didn’t need in a van, but was never pressuring or over-facing - really invaluable, he was great. Buying a campervan is a minefield, but Camperking made it feel simple and understandable. Danny was great on the financial side, answering all our questions and making the process painless. Any concerns raised about the camper were addressed and resolved, couldn’t be happier with the service received. Also happy with the fact that Camperking have everything under the one roof, having accessories, servicing and repairs at the one place is an advantage. Feels like a well run and friendly business with positive values and culture always visible.

Jul 10,2024Superb customer service from Josh and the team at Camper King. Slight fading of the paint to the pop top roof of my van. CK took van in without any quibble, re sprayed roof and went as far as re spraying other areas to match paint work. Above and beyond - thank you.

Jul 06,2024Not happy (at the time of the review I gave one star as it was midnight and the bed broke). Update: They have contacted me and are going to replace the broken bits, in fairness they have always fixed things although there have been quite a few problems over the 15 months since I bought the van, which obviously is inconvenient and annoying. In terms of dealing with the employees at the service centre they have always been friendly, approachable and professional, so perhaps my original review is too negative on aftercare. It is inconvenient driving up to their place in Banbury though and it would ideally not have to happen. The negativity of my review is with the quality of the product I bought from Camperking, which is a used campervan. The van is great in itself but with lots of mainly little things going wrong and a few major ones - you can't help thinking what's going to be next. At the end of the day I would rather just have a quality product with nothing going wrong. Here is the original review in brackets: (Numerous problems The worst being now in Edale camping and the wooden panel at the front of the rock and roll bed just snapped off as I tried to pull it out They did fix other previous problems Damaged fabric on the push up Ceiling which was pointed out to me by the delivery driver Damaged wood on the rock and roll bed Damaged handle on the ceiling Oil leak as part of the warranty Addition the heater stopped working and they partially contributed to it Sink pump broke also Twice I drove the van to their place at my inconvenience and they gave me a replacement car But tbh the wooden panel just snapping off makes me question the quality They were quick to sell but I’m unconvinced of the quality of the product and aftercare )

Jun 27,2024I bought my Camper King T5.1 through a private sale but have used CK HQ at Banbury to have a solar panel fitted and a wireless reversing camera. They really are a great bunch to deal with and only at the end of the phone (or email) for any questions. Definitely recommend. And they’ve got some lovely campers in, VW Porn at its best!

Jun 18,2024We had been visiting CamperKing for over a year looking at various options. On every occasion the staff have been attentive and friendly but never pressuring. Earlier this year we found a van we loved but had wheels I didn’t like and other bits & pieces. Danny Aston was looking after us and nothing could be too much trouble, hence ensured things were changed to meet our requirements. We were kept updated throughout our purchase journey. I arranged to have a ghost immobiliser and tracker installed on the day of collection and again this was easily accommodated by them. We collected our van on the 31st May and we were shown around our van by the hilarious Richie but his humour also allowed the key drills to be remembered. It has been a wonderful experience in buying a quality product. If in the market for van go to CamperKing you will get a coffee and you can see a wide range vans and a friendly knowledgeable team with no pressure.

CamperKing have handled the entire process for us and (although they obviously charge a fee) I am sure we have ultimately received a higher amount than if we had tried to sell privately. I was previously unaware of this service offered by CamperKing. Highly recommended. Stress free and and a great price received.

May 28,2024A huge thankyou to the team at Camper King! Following an oil sensor issue on my van, Camper King did a full diagnostic and then spent an hour in the workshop fixing the issue. My van was brilliantly retro fitted by them last year and so engine issues were never their responsibility. Nonetheless they fixed it without charge! Hats off to them!

May 28,2024Just in the middle of our first full week away in our recently purchased SWB van, with the St Tropez conversion. We are thrilled to bits with the van. Way more storage than we realised. Copes easily with our family of four, fully loaded for the week, awning, camping gear, bikes hanging off the back; the dog has never had it so good. Really efficient service and communication during the buying process from CK, and the small niggle we discovered after we collected, was quickly resolved with no fuss. Can’t wait for more adventures to come!!

Apr 30,2024Collected my Transporter today from Camperking. From my first visit, to view their stock, to the collection a few weeks later I was impressed with the overall professionalism of the company and the staff that I dealt with on an individual basis and those that I saw whilst there. Always a good sign too with well appointed and clean wash rooms, show room impressive as well. Beautifully turned out Monte Carlo van that I took back to its new home on the Jurassic Coast. Thanks in particular to Danny and Anthony.

Feb 06,2025Looking for a quality VW Transporter conversion, and being new to all of this, my wife and I visited many showrooms (and a few shows) over the course of several months. We spoke to a lot of people, and saw lots of conversions; some good, some not so good. At CamperKing in Banbury we immediately felt a sense of consistent quality and professionalism. Everyone we spoke to there was patient, knowledgeable and helpful. There was zero sense of pressure as we strolled around and looked at the various conversions they offer. For the first time we felt a real sense that we’d found what we were looking for. We knew what we wanted in terms of base van specification and conversion, but couldn't quite find that exact match ready built. So we told Richard what we were looking for. He sourced an almost new van, we selected the layout we wanted (Le Mans), along with all of the colours and materials, even down to the alloys (at the showroom they have a space set aside with all of the available options to play with and visualise). Since we placed our order just before Christmas things took a little longer than usual, but we only had to wait eight weeks or so. In the New Year we returned to collect our shiny, newly converted van. Richard kindly picked us up from Banbury station. We spent over an hour with another Richard (there are a few Richards at CamperKing) who showed us how everything works. All questions - stupid or otherwise - were patiently answered. A very positive experience from start to end, and now we’re ready for adventure. Thank you Richards!
