Normally I'm not the type of person to leave reviews online (good or bad) - but I had such a terrible experience with this company that I wanted to share my unfortunate situation and warn others from doing business with them. TLDR: This company ripped me off by charging a 50% higher rate in person than what they said they'd charge based on their official website's rate, didn't have any crypto in their office to instantly send it to me in person when I showed up, then lied to me and broke their 30min-1hour transfer guarantee; and only after "9-10hours" did I FINALLY receive the crypto, at which point it was already too late as it was past 11pm and I was about to go to sleep and couldn't use it the entire day like I planned to. This was a huge waste of time that made me lose out on a lot of money had I invested it in various altcoins (which went up by 20-40% on the following day), amongst other things. Finally, after all these issues came up - their customer service was terrible and they refused to reimburse me for this ridiculous delay. 100% avoid and stay away from them. LONG VERSION: So about a month or so ago I was looking to buy ~20k worth of crypto with cash. I read many good reviews about them and they seemed trustworthy, so I decided to go with them. Before arriving to their office, I reached out to an online rep and asked for their rates - and they told to check their official rates on the website, which was 5.3% for buying crypto with cash (that was reasonable to me). I then reached out to their manager by text, confirmed the day I planned to arrive and the amount I planned to purchase a few days in advance, and was looking forward to making the transaction. A few days later, I arrived with a family member to their office, looking to buy crypto with the amount we agreed on - and that's where everything went south. First, the young lady at the front desk had a chat with this manager who I was texting with, and after their call she said that the rate would be "8%". I was shocked to hear this because that was way above what was written on the website, and I tried to explain that they need to bring it down to 5-5.3% like it says on the website. But after trying to explain it to them for 30-60mins, the lowest amount they agreed to do it for was 7-7.5% which was absurd, a complete rip-off, and a 50% higher rate than what it said on their official website. However, since we needed those funds that day and didn't have time to go look to buy it elsewhere + already spent so much time & energy by that point, we were left with no choice but to purchase our desired crypto amount for that 7-7.5% rate. Then another issue came up - after we gave them the cash, they claimed they did not have the crypto in their own office to send to us! How crazy is that?! I was shocked to hear this and found it to be very unprofessional, but the lady at the front promised us that the crypto will arrive to my digital wallet within 30mins, and guaranteed it would take no longer than 1hour. So we thought "ok, we'll trust their word on this and just head back home now" (as we were already running behind other things that day after spending too much time discussing the rate). And this is where it gets worse. 1 hour passed, we didn't get it. 2 hours, nothing, 3 hours, still not showing up. So I msg the lady at the office about it, and she said it will arrive "soon". Few hours later, it STILL doesn't show up. And that's when I got frustrated and told them to hurry up and send it asap b/c I needed to use it urgently on that day. Long story short, it wasn't until *9-10h* later that the amount showed up, at which point it was already past 11pm my time and when I was about to go to sleep, and couldn't use those funds the entire day like I planed to. The impact? Many of the altcoins I was planning to invest in that day went up 10-30% during this delay, and I couldn't invest in them until the very next day, at which point some of them were already 20-40% higher than the 1st day. In the following week - after many exchanges and TERRIBLE + slow customer service, they finally agreed to send us back the 2-2.5% rate difference that they shouldn't have charged us to begin with, but made 0 accommodation or reimbursement for the time we wasted + money we missed out on by sending our funds "9-10 hours" after they promised, which was a huge waste of our time + money. There are 0 excuses for this kind of ridiculous delay (esp since I gave them a few days notice), and not only did they break their guarantee and lied to us, but they also showed 0 respect by not owning up to multiple of their mistakes and fixing them. If I were you, I would stay FAR AWAY from them and go elsewhere. There are SO MANY better alternatives where you can buy crypto for as low as "2%" and receive it INSTANTLY on the spot (esp in the Yonge/Steeles area, which I only found out about later on, and the process was very quick & smooth).
