Jun 10,2024Uriel was our guide for our family trip to Mexico City for 3 days. Uriel was organized, knowledgeable, patient, and funny too! We visited Xochimilco, Teotihuacan, Coyoacan, and more during the 3 days. We had lots of opportunities to practice speaking Spanish. We all had a great time and hope to return again! Gracias Uriel!

Jun 02,2024My wife and I recently visited Mexico City and we took two different excursions with Uriel. One trip was to Teotihuacan and the other was to Xochimilco/Coyocan. This was her first visit to CDMX and these two days were highlights of our trip. Uriel went out of his way to ensure we had great experiences. He and I talked in Spanish and he talked with my wife in English. I highly recommend any of his excursions when visiting Mexico City.

Durante las clases, él toma notas por ti para que sólo tengas que concentrarte en la clase. En los últimos meses, he visto mejoras en mi forma de hablar, especialmente respondiendo con más fluidez. Lo que más me gusta de las clases es que aprendo a hablar como la gente habla español, no como te enseñan los libros de texto.

Sep 21,2023For about a month now, I have been attending biweekly meetings with Uriel in order to improve my Spanish. I came in already knowing the basics but I have been wanting to go beyond that for years. Thankfully I stumbled upon this language school which teaches real Mexican-rooted Spanish with a good mixture of formal and informal language. In addition, he speaks slowly and clearly. Highly recommend!

Jan 12,2023Really enjoying my lessons with Uriel. He has you speaking Spanish from the first lesson. I know I will be able to speak Spanish independently this year! Uriel is patient, kind and funny. He explains lessons thoroughly and does not hesitate to clarify and review when you need it! Highly recommend! What a wonderful to gain confidence in a new language!

Jan 10,2023I purchased an excursion package to Tepoztlán with Uriel and it was an unforgettable experience! Uriel is funny, respectful, patient, and a great teacher overall. When he picked me up in the morning, he asked me to only speak in Spanish which really gave me a boost of confidence to practice what I'd learned in class. The day trip was incredible; Tepoztlán is a beautiful mountainside town just outside of Mexico City. We got breakfast at a food market there and, with Uriel's help, I was able to order my sope and all the toppings I wanted in Spanish. Afterwards, we hiked up the hills to a beautiful Aztec pyramid, all the while talking about food, culture, and life in Mexico, all in Spanish! Uriel made me feel comfortable enough to not shy away from making mistakes (all of which he gently and patiently corrected); and he even taught me some fun Mexican slang! If you're going to visit Mexico City, I highly recommend buying an excursion package from ChidoLingo. No class or book beats learning Spanish through immersion accompanied by a great teacher like Uriel.

Jan 09,2023Llevo 3 meses tomando clases y puedo decir que me ha gustado mucho, ya que la modalidad de clases de una hora se te acomoda en cualquier momento del día. Aparte, son clases dinámicas que al final siempre sientes que estás avanzando. 100% recomendado.

Uriel has guided me from the tiny bits I recalled from high school over 30 years ago to being able to hold conversations and discuss just about anything. His style is encouraging and friendly, and totally individualized to your learning pace and style. He is patient and funny and so supportive. I HIGHLY recommend Uriel and all the teachers at Chidolingo for a fun, rewarding way to learn Spanish!

Bueno estoy tomando las clases con Uriel y son clases privadas, cuando tengo dudas o preguntas me las resuelve clara e inmediatamente. Los materiales son interactivos y me gusta que las evaluaciones sean con hablantes nativos. Me han ayudado mucho a superar mi miedo a hablar inglés y siento que he mejorado mucho. Quizás lo único que no me gusta mucho es el precio, pero creo que aún así merece la pena. Totalmente recomendable.

Jan 03,2023I’ve had a great experience with the teachers at this school. Each of them bring something different to the table which is great that I can switch up and learn different things from each of them. Also the learning tools are a great asset and have been very beneficial and helping me learn. I would highly recommend signing up today and I would suggest switching up teachers from time to time as well to keep a fresh approach to learning!

Jan 03,2023Esta es una actualización de mi review anterior. Solo necesitaba refrescar mi inglés porque quería sentirme cómoda en las juntas en inglés en mi trabajo. Tomé un par de cursos de chidolingo, más o menos 60 horas, tardé 5 meses y me encantó el sistema, siempre fueron clases privadas y las tomé con Uriel y Flor. Me gustó mucho todo, lo haría de nuevo. Definitivamente lo recomiendo si estás comprometido al 100% con aprender inglés.

He has helped me to quickly understand things that I have been struggling with for months. The Dutongui site is absolutely awesome! He will take the time to answer and explain every question you have. Every lesson is fun, as well as funny, and interesting in that you learn something new about the life and culture of Mexíco.
