Clavis har gode lærere, men et rodet system. 1: Min kone blev placeret i en forkert klasse i sin 1 time. 2: Midt i modul 3 beslutter Clavis at hendes klasse er for lille så nu skal eleverne fordeles ud på nogen andre hold. Totalt uacceptabelt at gøre dette midt i forløbet. 3: Underviserne på Clavis må selv vælge imellem to bøger. Det er der måske ikke noget problem i hvis en lærer følger et hold til eksamen, men det er meget upraktisk når skolen bliver nødt til at slå klasser sammen midt i et modul. Update: Skolen har taget kontakt til os efterfølgende, hvor vi har haft en samtale om forløbet. 1: De har beklaget at klassen blev slået sammen midt i et modul, og oplyst at de gør alt for at undgå dette, men at de økonomiske rammer er stramme; så de kan blive nødt til at gøre det ved frafald til mindre end 10 studerende pr klasse. Vi synes stadigt det er meget uheldigt, men håber bare på det ikke sker igen. 2: Jeg glemte at skrive i min første anmeldelse at nævne at studie-vejlederen kontaktede os hurtigt efter vores henvendelser. Det er hermed gjort, for ret skal være ret. 3: I kraft af at skolen har taget vores kritik alvorligt og ingået i dialog, har vi rettet og opdateret anmeldelsen, samt hævet den samlede vurdering af skolen til 3 stjerner.
Jeg er meget tilfreds med undervisningen på Clavis sprogskole og kan ærligt anbefale Clavis til dem, som søger dansk sprog kurser til udlændinge. I min erfaring, alle kursus ledere er højt kvalificeret og kompetent i sprog undervisning og samtidigt god til at motivere kursisterne til at forbedre sig og bruge dansk i hverdags livet. Alle administrations medarbejdere, jeg er kommet i kontakt med, var rigtig venlig og hjælpsom. Jeg er glad for at kunne fortsætte med FVU kursus efter jeg afslutte min PD3 eksamen.
Unfortunately, I did not know before registering for studieprøven, that there is such a tremendous difference with the schools! While fx UCplus Kbh is giving their students the possibility to write "studieprøvens skriftlige del 3" on the computer, we have to write the 3 hour lasting part of the exam by hand with Clavis. Clavis also does not give access to online dictionaries. It is completely unacceptable, that such an important exam is taking place under such different conditions. It is completely unacceptable, that Clavis is apparently not capable of organizing the needed ressources in order to give their students optimal chances to pass the test. I'm of the opinion, that students of UCplus clearly have an advantage of passing studieprøven.
The communication was smooth. The school was adapted to this corona crisis and change the course to online efficiently. It was especially important for me just before the exam PD3. I know the efficiency of the online course is extremely depend on the teacher as well, so I am sending a huge thank you to Brian :) I cannot tell anything on the negative side.
I was quite hesitant after reading the reviews but my experience was quite good. I attended an online class in the evening twice a week which was very convenient. Our class was amazing, everyone was friendly and helpful, it was a lot of fun to attend the classes. In terms of teaching it was much better than the previous course I attended somewhere else. I can speak Danish much better now, it was a big improvement. Homeworks were well-chosen. My communication with the managerial staff was very positive too. They were responsive, friendly and helpful. Teaching could be a little bit better so I cut one star. All in all I was happy with my class. I really wonder how my next level class will be.
Won’t give me a refund I am entitled to. I have to pay for something everyone else gets for free, just because I had already paid before the rules changed and made it free for all. Plus the class is way too large and you never get to talk.
STEDET FÅR EN STJERNE, FORDI MAN IKKE KAN GIVE NUL STJERNER. Clavis sprog og kompetance er den værste arbejdsplads, man kan tænke sig til. Så kort sagt, HOLD DIG LANGT VÆK. Både underviser og ansatte i administrationen, bliver sygemeldt på stribe, og ledelsen behandler de ansatte og kursister så dårligt, at det slet ikke kan beskrives. Det eneste det går ud på i den virksomhed, er at få flest mulige penge ud af virksomheder og kommunen, som betaler for hovedparten af de kursister, der modtager sprogundervisningen hos Clavis. Tror det eneste positive der er at sige om den virksomhed er, at der er god kaffe i kantinen for de ansatte.
Vi er igang på Clavis Roskilde. Et behageligt sted hvor vi er blevet imødekommet af venlige mennesker. Konstruktiv undervisning. Der et endvidere et godt bibliotek. Hvis du overvejer at blive bedre til dansk - så er Clavis et godt sted.
Horrible communication and rude service. After my experience with them as a paying customer, I cannot recommend them.
I was really looking forward to learning Danish but this learning center is awful and after this short and unfortunate experience I'm paying to go private. The method of teaching is so old fashioned and they stand and mindlessly recite lines from a paper handout with no explanation of the words or meanings to anyone who is completely brand new to learning Danish. I guess I'm lucky I've done the Duolingo app. The teacher was so unprepared and didn't know the course syllabus, how to structure their lessons or have any idea how to navigate through the Clavis e-learning portal. They made very discouraging remarks and facial expressions when I made a mistake, which will naturally happen as I'm learning a new language. We were told to go through our handout as homework and fill out the answers 'in our head' because we weren't allowed to practice properly at home. This is a really ineffective way of learning and I would struggle to think how anyone passes their modules. I've also tried to get my deposit back after 2 lessons and they refused, despite there being no terms and conditions written anywhere saying I cannot have my deposit refunded. Instead I have to be transferred to another class. I pray it's not worse.
Har tilmeldt mig til en prøve, betalt gebyret. Desværre blev nød til at afmelde mig, gjorde det mindst 2 måneder inden prøveafholdelse. Der gået over 2 uger, flere mails og de vil stadig ikke refundere mig for noget jeg har RETTIGHEDER til. De gå imod deres egne refunderings betingelser for at beholder 800kr på deres egne lomme. Sikkert en måde at køre en skole på!
Stressende arbejdsplads, ingen har tid til at oplære nye medarbejdere, ledelsen lytter ikke, alle er utilfredse og ledelsen er ligeglade med deres medarbejdere, svarer ikke på henvendelser og lader som ingenting. Inden for de sidste måneder er der i Aarhus afd. 2 sagt op, 3 har selv sagt op, og 5 har været eller er sygemeldte. Alting sejler og der er ikke styr på meget. Der ansættes og afskediges hele tiden, retter man ikke ind til højre og siger javel til alt, er det ud af klappen. Eleverne bliver syltet og får dårligt svar på det de spørger om, ingen har tiden til dem og oftest bliver det bare en form for slukken ildebrænde. Uforståeligt hvordan de kan leve op til kravene, når der er udbud, og uforståeligt hvorfor der ikke er tilsyn med virksomheder, som levere af "kunder" fra det offentlige. Jeg vil på det kraftigste advare folk om at tage ansættelse der eller starte uddannelse.
I really wish I had heeded the terrible reviews about this place. Once I paid the deposit, I heard nothing from these people for weeks and then got a letter in the mail with the time/date of a class I couldn't attend. I repeatedly emailed them and they never got back to me. The pandemic struck, so I ignored everything and when I recently returned to Copenhagen I got a paper saying I had been assigned to another class I couldn't make, and just like last time, my many emails explaining this to them went unanswered. I just called to see if they could get me into a class at a time I could actually make, and I was lectured to by a preachy women about missing class. As for the teachers and the classes, I have no idea if any of them are any good, as I couldn't get them to listen or work with me to find a class at a time I could attend. Anyway, I see another woman is complaining to the commune, so I'll follow her lead and let them know about my experience as well. Our tax dollars (and yes, I do work and pay taxes here) go to these schools (as did my deposit which no doubt will not be refunded). They should be held accountable.
I went to Clavis for 3 modules of Danish classes and my overall experience was quite positive. The teachers were quite good and even flexible with module test schedules when it conflicted with vacation days. The school was also nice enough to offer online classes during the lockdown period.
Jeg oplevede et fantastisk samarbejde mellem SIRI (Asbjørn) arbejdede om aften og Clavis (Wissam og hans team) i forbindelse med min søn havde brug for en studieprøve som var blevet besværlig gjort af Covid. Vi blev mødt med en meget stor venlighed og forståelse, uden bureaukrati, Meget flot og en helt Fantastisk oplevelse. Uden tvivl 5 stjerner.
Aldeles serviceminded. Jeg har kun ros at give CLAVIS både når det gælder undevisningen, underviserne og deres administration. De er altid villige til at hjælpe også når man skriver til dem midt on natten på FB.
Trustpilot decided to delete my previous review. Trying again. Horrible experience. The instructors are disengaged. The communication from the staff is poor. The school is disorganised. It is very clear that they do not care about the students learning Danish and are only interested in your money. If you want to become integrated into Danish society by learning Danish that is understandable to Danish people, Clavis is not the language school for you!
Just don't waste your time (and if you are not on family reunification, money). They do not care about actually improving your Danish to useful levels and will skimp out on providing proper education. Invest in yourself and your Danish by going to other schools that follow European language requirements and will actually provide you with Danish that is useful and understandable for others. Or, if you're in a pinch, spend extra time with Duolingo, it's honestly more reliable. On a side note, their reception has horrible service and will not respond to your e-mails, or if they do respond it will be in a passive aggressive manner. I have gone back to my previous language center and will continue my education there, despite losing out on 3000DKK. It was a waste of both my time and money.
Vi får en besked om at en bog skal afleveres. Vi aflevere bogen. Vi får herefter en faktura om at bogen ikke er afleveret og skal betales. Vi skriver til vtaj mailen som henvist om at vi har afleveret bogen og ringer til kundeservice i Aarhus, hvor vi får at vide vi skal vente. Der går nogle dage. Vi får en faktura IGEN om at der er 1 dag tilbage inden der pålægges et gebyr. Dette er noget svineri og bedrageri! Vi har afleveret den bog i efterlyser til tiden og alligevel kræver i penge! Inden jeg afleverede den spurte jeg endda receptionisten i Aarhus, hvor den skal afleveres og gjorde dette! Alligevel påstår i at vi ikke har!

Oct 30,2021Don't bother - they won't give you your money back :( I wanted to do studieprøven earlier this year but as I was on maternity leave and struggling to prepare for the test I asked for it to be delayed, which they accepted and I really appreciated. Now to the next time for the test (November) and I can't get the day off work to do the test, yet I'm being told that they can't reschedulw the test nor give me a refund! Waste of so much money for nothing!!! I'm so angry and upset!
