Sep 24,2020This review is an ode to a wonderful lady by the name of Katy. Katy was everything I could ask for and much much more than I knew I would require, during a rather upsetting period during my life. Due to the corona virus outbreak, like most people I was put onto the furlough scheme. This wasn’t an issue initially as in my household we make enough to get by and my partner worked from home so everything, whilst not ideal, was more or less fine. Skip forward several months and my position was in jeopardy, and I was to be made redundant “with immediate effect”. Again I understand A LOT of people would have been in this position themselves so I hope that anyone who reads this will be able to pass on the help. The help I received from Katy, resulted in me avoiding being mistreated as an employee that had no idea what they were entitled to, as I was almost ready to roll over and take redundancy without question. Now my personal knowledge regarding the rights of employee/employer is very minimal as anyone would expect, and despite the fact that I have been in hospitality close to 10 years now I can not stress enough how little help or even information is available. And even less has been available during this pandemic with citizens advice full to the brim and ACAS so busy you get cut off as soon as you dial the number. And so I found Katy (or rather she found me) and she was an absolute star, not only did she take a personal interest in my troubles but she also had a wealth of information and help ready at hand to calm my every concern at EVERY turn. Even though there were not many turns, to me it felt as if my life was falling apart to an extent. For me a Human Resources department is something I never had access to and I have always had to rely on help from friends/family/co-workers for their personal experience. But that doesn’t quite cut it when it comes to understanding things to the letter of the law and knowing what you’re entitled to. I cannot say enough to encourage people to seek the help that they deserve when it comes to employment because the people who do these jobs, people like Katy, they really do just want what is best for you and they will fight tooth and nail by your side to get it. If you’re reading this and you even have the slightest inkling that somebody you know might need some help, please please pass on the information and hopefully you can help Katy be the difference to someone just like me.

We have worked closely together on various HR issues, including implementing ISO accreditation's into our business which is no mean feat. Katy makes everything as straightforward and painless as possible which in the world of HR is not always easy to do! Katy's expertise would be a great addition to any business.

Feb 18,2025We are a small company with 15 employees who had a complex HR issues requiring specialist advice and management. Zowie from Clear Bridge was excellent throughout and managed all aspects to a satisfactory concussion. Their rates are fair and a lot cheaper than a Solicitor. We would 100% use their services again.
