Jan 20,2022This was my first time importing from China for my small business. I had no knowledge whatsoever on customs or the process in general. When I saw this website I though they were handling the entire process but this is far from true. This is definitely a DIY service where they talk to you like you know about the subject, using acronyms that you need to google, confusing terminology, and they really don't care if you understand or not.. Some of my major issues: - I almost paid $5000 for a late ISF since they don't tell you what you have to do prior to start the process. - According to them all fees were paid. Wrong. There was a pending fee by the time I hired a trucking company which I asked them and they just told me "no fees pending" literally.. - Since they think you are an expert, they talk to you using quite confusing terminology. If you ask what's that, The LITERALLY google it, copy and pasted the definitions in the chat. That's right, they don't give a damm. - They told me at the beggining that they provided a delivery service only if this was a full container. Just a couple of weeks later when the container finally arrived, they told me they don't, I had to find my way. No help at all to get a trucking company. Really if this is your first time doing this, don't bother, find another broker since this is going to cause you a huge headache. The service is not cheap either.. And if this is your second time then you already know and you don't need them. and for Clearit you really need to work on your customer service skills.

Jan 01,2022I was concerned about the delayed responses and lack of clarity about the process at a time when it was critical in submitting the ISF BEFORE leaving port, that would be a $5000 fine! Lucky there was another port stop before heading to the USA. However, considering it was a process to set up my company account in the first place, I trust next time it will not be a worry some experience importing from China.

Dec 29,2021Unwilling to help or call you to work issues regarding classifications and duty fees. Have shipment sitting collecting storage fees because they can not read the invoice I have sent them 5 times now!

Nov 28,2021Working with clearitusa was not easy. In the end, they managed to address the custom details, but they sat in the details for nearly a week, resulting in my freight being delayed on the outbound loading dock for nearly a week. This in turn resulted in my freight arriving later than desired at the destination. I'm not sure I would use clearitusa again, and I'm not sure I would recommend it to anyone.
