The primary use of my subscription is access to the Chatterbox forum, which is only available to Compers News subscribers and gives access to a range of purchase necessary promotions, which is my primary source of wins. With the growth of the Lucky Learners Facebook group (aka SuperLucky Di), the majority of purchase necessary, text, creative comps etc i find to be posted on the Facebook group often but not always before it is posted on Chatterbox. The major benefit of Compers News has for me eroded somewhat as this information through no fault of the magazine is now accessible easily and in a timely way via this free to join Facebook group.
Compers News is great for 'win'formation, whether you're a newbie or an old hand! Not only do you get a digital magazine each month - you also get a physical copy posted out to you. The magazine is jam-packed with current competition listings, wise advice from Steve (the Editor), Comping Crusader and Di Coke, write-ups about big prize winners, in-house contests to win gift cards, cash and stamps - and more. There's a genuine, friendly feel to the magazine and associated online forum, where all kinds of topics are discussed. The forum is a great bonus. I've been a subscriber for nearly 3 years and have covered my subscription many times over with wins. It's a brilliant resource I thoroughly recommend.
Compers News - the best magazine around. Bar none! I LOVE this magazine. I have had this magazine since before my son was born (and he's now nearly 15) and I really wouldn't be without it. The listings are well set out, the articles are interesting and there's even some in-house comps in there including a kids comps section tho my little girl's favourite task is always 'find the postie.' As well as the magazine, there is the chatterbox forum, a lovely place where there's never any nastiness and people are always willing to help each other and share things - comp details, winner information and sometimes write-ups of prizes - love those! I prefer this site to the likes of twitter or facebook because it's easier to ask questions and find your way around - and, of course, to win prizes as that's the name of the game!
I discovered Compers News about a year ago and I'm so glad I did. The magazine is delivered each month to my door and is great to sit and read with a cuppa! It has lots of comprehensive listings, the postal entries are of particular interest to me and I find it very useful to have them all in one place. Access to the Chatterbox Forum is also incredibly useful to me, as you get an early 'heads-up' on purchase necessary competitions. It is also an incredibly supportive place to sit and have a chat with like minded people!
I have subscribed to Compers News for many years and wouldn’t be without it. There’s plenty of comping news in each issue and access to a digital copy as well. I have won many prizes over the years with the help of Compers News and made many friends through the Chatterbox forum
A comprehensive listing magazine with a range of competitions to keep you focused each month. Some great member only puzzles inside every month too, although they aren’t personally my thing, so I never get much out of them. I have won several prizes over the 5 or so years I’ve been subscribed and it’s most definitely ‘paid for itself’. Several pages at the start dedicated to advice and updates which can be informative or interesting to read.
I have been a subscriber for many years and always recommend to anyone who is serious about entering competitions. I have won many prizes over the years including in-house ones with this magazine which usually cover my yearly subscription fee! The Chatterbox forum is also something I would not be without.
I've been a member now for 6 years, and I'm so glad that I came across this magazine. During this time I've won various prizes thanks to the magazine ranging from hotel stays to vouchers, and lots of small prizes. There's lots of handy info even for long standing compers such as myself, inhouse competitions, and the all important heads up on comps on their way. I love joining in the chatterbox forum where you'll find lots of comps run by other members, and there's always someone about to help you out. Try it today, and I promise you won't regret it.
I have been a member for 7 continuous years now and I cannot see a time when I would be without Compers News because it has so much to offer. I love my hobby and I would not miss an issue. . The monthly mag has lots of different style competitions to suit all tastes. Many, many people genuinely enter and win those from the CN subscribers. There are also In-house comps, discussions on current, relevant topics, advice and chat. Subscribing also gives you the chance to participate in Chatterbox, the on line forum. This is indispensable. The Board index is full of categories for you to participate in. Members post comps, discuss topics, help each other out, and post their own small prize comps exclusively for members. if you just want somewhere to hang out and chat, that’s there too.All they ask is that you contribute something about once a month as minimum. Believe me, you will be doing far more than that. It is addictive. There is a WinDex slogans database for searching should you need inspiration for a slogan. Not many of those comps about now, but the database is a great source of info if you want to brainstorm a subject or look for puns or rhymes etc. All previously thought up by expert compers and also showing the winning slogans. Not there to copy but to give your brain a work out on how to write your own slogan. There is a digital edition sent out early so you can get stuck in before the paper mag arrives. This will help you get onto those comps which are likely to close before you get the printed mag. The competition world has changed so much with social media that it bears no resemblance to pre-internet days. Where do you start and how do you find advice on all the different aspects? And how do you win? Yes, that is the question. You will find all that and more in Compers News. Priced from £4.95 per month, that is a small price to pay for such a brilliant magazine. Do not take my word for it. Try it out for three months and start winning.
I have been a member for more than 10 years . In that time I have won cash sums of £1,000 and £500 , microphone, vouchers, Gas BBQ,suitcases, steamers, a microwave etc. On average a prize a week. The magazine and website list competitions before they are seen on free sites , giving you a better chance than everyone else. They also have unique comps not seen elsewhere. The chatterbox site that goes with the magazine is the most helpful forum. Everyone helps each other to win prizes. Membership fee recouped very easily.
I took up a subscription to Compers News in 2005 and have never looked back! It's a great publication jam packed full of competitions which I otherwise wouldn't have heard about. I have been lucky enough to win some amazing prizes over the years - all thanks to Compers News. The online forum is great with access to new competitions being added all the time. Everyone is friendly and helpful - like one big family! The cost of the subscription more than pays for itself. I have won some fabulous holidays, cash prizes, gadgets etc over the years. I would definitely recommend giving it a try - you certainly won't be disappointed.
Have been a subscriber for many years and hopefully for the foreseeable future, keeps me up to date on all competitions out there , the heads up to win some fantastic prizes
I have been a member for over 10 years and would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. I love Chatterbox as only fellow compers really understand how great this hobby is. There are both a hard and digital copy of the magazine and the only time my magazine did not arrive, I was immediately sent a replacement. Every year my subscription has been money well spent.
I would definitely recommend Compers News - I have subscribed for many years and look forward to its arrival each month. Being a subscriber has helped me win thousands of pounds in cash and vouchers and numerous holidays.
Excellent comping magazine, my subscription costs are always recouped every year by items I’ve won including PS4’s, iPads and vouchers! The online forum for members is invaluable, friendly and has helped me learn a lot and win a lot! 10/10
After many years without subscribing to compers news , my daily routine was getting a bit stale in finding new competitions. I stumbled across this fantastic magazine when seeing it recommended on Facebook by other avid readers. It has completely changed my outlook on how to enter competitions. Every page is filled with tips, new ideas and new competitions. They have a fab website that accompanies your subscribption and makes you feel part of a community, definitely recommended 😊
Best comping mag by miles simply laid out with great advice and the online added bonus of chatterbox is amazing!
