I was able to get an appointment right away. The cost of repair was almost half of the cost quoted at my Toyota dealer. They were very professional and did a great job. I will be recommending them to my friends and family.

Truly wonderful to work with a service business that delivered above and beyond what I thought possible. Mitch, the owner explained the entire procedure and the Lead Technician, Kevin, kept me informed of their progress, almost daily, as well as documenting with photos the transmission repair. Another plus, the total cost was lower than the estimate. No one wants to pay for or service a transmission repair, ... but if it has to be done, the people at Cottman of Beaverton Transmission are who you want doing the work.

Cottman is the most honest repair shop in Beaverton. My transmission was jerky, running rough and the speedometer erratic. I thought the worst was in store for me like needing a new transmission. After diagnosis by Kevin he discovered it was just a loose wire. Cottman could have told me anything, but were honest and quickly fixed the minor issue at reasonable cost.

These guys replaced a clutch on my vehicle for 45% less than my previous mechanic’s quote. And they beat the price on other repairs and maintenance by at least as much so I went back a second time. I came in with a few items to do and asked them to look into a problem. I love that they do not charge for the initial basic inspection. They kept me informed and got my permission before proceeding with more in depth diagnostic work that had a fee. I was very pleased that the labor for the diagnostics was included as part of the labor for the final repair. I’ll be back to this shop for sure. I trust their work but would like a little more info, or a checklist, of what was included in their inspection.

In my honest experience they have done wonderful job in replacement of timing belt of my Honda Odyssey 2008. I would also like to mention the cost and labor on this work was very reasonable and affordable.

Very professional business model. I received good attention and satisfaction in the work performed.. I still have problems with oil leaks but not from any transmission related problems that they worked on..I would use their services again if needed.
