Jan 26,2022Bought long tailpiece for an old Vestax NYL-3. Arrived quickly and looks great! Also great price! Will keep the original wood tailpiece on guitar for now though. I prefer the tone it provides ( as compared to the Vestax NYL-4)

Jan 24,2022D'Angelico is a grand old name in guitar manufacturing, but has a new strength and dynamic. Management seems to be listening to the musicians. Excellent high quality construction with reasonable pricing. I play a lot of arch top guitars and D'Angelico has a clear voice with long sustain.

Jan 22,2022I've had my new Ice Blue Bedford SH for almost two months now, and it always amazes me how great it sounds. The only thing I wish they would do differently is purely cosmetic. I wish they carried different colors and styles of pickguards. I wanted the pearl guard instead of the white, but it wasn't offered on the Ice Blue model. The aftermarket place I was directed to didn't carry guards for the Bedford SH, only the standard Bedford (different). No problem though, I bought a sheet of pearl plastic and made my own using the original one as a template. As I said, though, this is purely cosmetic and a matter of opinion. Nothing changes the fact that this guitar plays and sounds like a dream.

Jan 13,2022I strongly recommend the D'Angelico showroom in Aspen! In addition to the warmth of the place itself, a very welcoming space with warm tones showcasing a large and beautiful display of D'Angelico guitars and related kit, Luke and Garland prove equally warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Liz and I spent a couple of hours in the store, looking at and playing several of the guitars; gear-talking; musing about a life in music rather than what we both currently do for a living; learning about the D'Angelico history and the current revival of the brand; lounging and petting their dogs Luna and Possum. In short, the showroom and the guys who live there are terrific ambassadors of the brand and of the art. Go visit them. Enjoy.

Jan 13,2022My second D'Ang Premier acoustic. String height, neck straightness not adequate. Too much buzz at the 9th fret with 3 biggest strings. Truss rod adjustment won't make it perfect. But fine guitar personality in tone and volume.

Dec 30,2021I don't know if there are any better words to say other than "I love this guitar! The D'Angelico Premier Mini DC XT is easy to play and sounds great. The action was good & the strings individually sang out true and clear. The volume and tone knobs kept the voice focused with no muddy tones. The blonde finish was exceptional.

Dec 23,2021I wrote the firm, and they never got back to me about the Deluxe Bedford I purchased, and had issues with the wiring of the pickups. Had to spend an additional $70 with a local repair shop to get it to working the way it should have from the beginning. Good guitar now, but the last D'Angelico purchase I will make from here forward. You need to up your game on quality control when working with Indonesia and South Korea.
