I had a terrible experience and wasted about £45 on only 30 minutes of play. I quit the game myself as there was no safety, and someone shot me in the head, injuring my chin. I signed up with my friends, thinking we could play together. If I had known I would have to play with a big group of people I don't even know, I would have never joined.
Very prompt response from booking office, they do amazing work with charities and would definitely recommend without a doubt, thank you so much
My friends and I went for a half a day which was meant to start at 14:00 with debrief and equipment given out by 14:45 according to the itinerary, however this didn’t happen to at least 15:45, which resulted in the whole day finishing at 18:30 instead of 17:00. I wish the website told you clearly that this was low impact paintball like other companies with the 0.5 balls as we only found out after we purchase the balls as they were quite small, we have managed to find that info on the website after the games, but would be nice if they advertised this a little more. Lastly, my biggest annoyance was the amount of cheaters, marshal Seth was a sound guy but chatted plenty about how comfy his mask was and felt like the games weren’t refereed properly as a lot of people would get shot and act as if nothing happened. Keeping score was also poor. Towards the end there were meant to be “awards” and shout outs, we stayed for about 15 mins but nothing happened and we left. I wish after each game the winning team received some kind of voucher or discount for free paintballs as a reward, like other companies do. Regardless, paintball is always fun and we did enjoy it, but wouldn’t go delta force specifically.
Delta Force Kegworth, 8th of May, wildlife getting shot repeatedly until dead by some unruly participants, staff refused to intervene. The kids from the other team were completely traumatised. I would be too...
Staff are lovely, very affordable. Overall fantastic day
Upon arrival the staff were very kind and helpful, setting us up with our equipment and clothing and happy to assist us. They were also very informative during preparation letting us know the rules, health and safety and how the weapons worked. However most of the problems I encountered were during the actual games themselves. I found the experience as a beginner very daunting, considering there wasn’t a target practice or warmup to get a feel for how the guns work beforehand. It was just straight into shooting each other. The marshals also were not paying attention to anything that was happening in the games other than the objective. This alongside an opposition who were considerably better than us and also not fessing up to when they got shot made for a very frustrating experience. It also didn’t help that the marks the paintballs left on the overalls were barely visible at all, which only would’ve encouraged the cheating even more. The first game also went on far too long, with several players including myself having a completely fogged up visor and not being able to see at all. As we were unable to remove or lift up our helmets whatsoever, I was forced to sit a round out as there was nothing I could do about my significantly impaired vision. Overall, I was very put off by this experience and I most likely will not be coming back here. But if you’re an experienced paintballer who loves cheating then this is the place for you, as you will get away with it unless another player calls you out.
Players cheating, stewards turning a blind eye, and genuine foul and dangerous shooting not being cared for. Stewards told multiple times of other team not admitting to being shot, no action taken. Spent £50/pp and the experience was consistent loses despite getting multiple eliminations, we were honest, other team was not. Resulted in chaos in the final mode. Other team felt they could do anything and went completely overkill on the use of paintballs, especially when we were dead. I got shot in the head after putting my hand up for a further 5 seconds and needed a concussion check. I have since complained through the proper channels. They don't care. They offered free entry next time but not free paintballs. We don't want to go again, we feel genuinely unsafe there. We get you are there to get shot, but there is fair play and over aggression, and the stewards just didn't care and could have put us in danger. Do better.
A great experience
Great day great company
I went along for a work team building day. The actual layout and arena was impressive with an aircraft model, buses, bunkers, etc. I paid £89.99 for a premium upgrade which included a number of paintballs, a flare, two smoke grenades, gloves and a helmet/visor. To begin with, the helmet stank ! The padding around the eyes and on the bridge of the nose was soaking wet and saturated in stale sweat. The entire unit was nothing but disgusting. The paintballs were just paintballs. The flare didn’t go off at all and the smoke grenades, well, I’ve seen more smoke come out of a vape than one of these things. As part of the upgrade, I was given a purple wristband which I presented upon entry and was handed an upgraded paintball gun. The upgrade had to be replaced six times as they kept repeatedly jamming. So much for an upgrade, began boasting with colleagues about my armoury only to sit there getting fired at whilst fiddling with a piece of crap trying to sort out the jam in the barrel. The Marshalls advise that they want you to notify them as soon as you detect a fault with your paintball gun or grenades, etc. each game lasts twenty minutes so by the time they’ve corrected the problem, there’s only a few minutes left of the game. All in all, it was a laugh to be around colleagues in a non work environment, but Delta Force was an utter waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend.
Great camp, staff very well presented the equipment and overall Health and Safety rules. All equipment necessary provided as well. Just the best
Great morning, safety briefing was really clear… kids had a great time! Thanks
Safety was a priority, clean kit, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Prompt, no messing about and good fun.
We were invited to a birthday party on the 12th of May 2024 (Delta Force Aveley East London). All rules were explained and understood. However, adults and kids were all together with my 9-year-old son getting several injuries before he came out. The marshal was non-existent even though my son put his hand up instantly after the first serious injury. He had two more injuries before he started crying from pain. This is unacceptable from the team, no ice pack was available when requested, and NOBODY cared after the game was over. They even forgot to inform us about the score (if we are getting killed, at least let us know we died for nothing...trying to be funny here...but it was no fun at all). The adults playing with the kids were ready to start a real fight after the game (although this was all on them since they were unable to control themselves), but this made us feel unsafe while sharing the same premises. This experience could have been better with more experienced staff.
Sent an email asking if it’s possible for a donation towards a charity event I’m doing and got a response very quickly with the donation! Thank you so much!!
If you find perfect position to remove your enemy they take you out because breaking the rules.doesnt mother you just keep follow generalities your position should be ar lost position. Manager is rude and doing monoloque not dialogue saying is it fair is paintball everyone should be able to run if he have a plan.bad hole don't go there if you're smart enough
For Rehan and his treatment of employees
This is a rip-off with no advanced warning. You need to pay a lot more on the spot than what you have already paid upfront if you want to properly enjoy the game with sufficient number of paint balls. This is fine if they warn you upfront but they did not, and only charge you for ~14 pounds for the 1st 100 paint balls, let us assuming this is probably about what it would cost. One of our team members arrived late and although we did not take his paint balls he was told otherwise so he was forced to buy his own.
Can’t believe what they done. Told us to pay for paintballs upfront for chosen day which is fine and we paid. Called us 2 days later that these day is no longer available. You asked me to pay for that day and I did like 🤦 and refused to give money back when I told I can’t go any on their day. Be aware please
