The staff are attentive and so easy to talk to. Prices are banging! Partner took a lesson of surfing and he loved it! They talk you through every single thing and just all round a very good shop / surf school!

I bought a beach chair for £15 which lasted 2 days!!! Owner refused to exchange. AVOID as faulty goods sold presumably on the basis that holiday makers aren't repeat trade. Terrible customer service. V disappointing

On a day trip to Scarborough for our daughters 5th Birthday. Although a passing purchase for a bucket and spade. The chap on the door was great welcoming us. Making payment remotely by card outside possible and taking the time out of his day to speak to our daughter and wish her a happy birthday. We didn't catch his name but he had longish blonde hair. Bravo! Keep it up, the retail industry needs more people willing to actually interact with their customers.

Awful service, still awaiting a response having called & emailed several times. Ordered several items, still awaiting the most significant part of the order. Two of the three ding repair kits ordered had already expired & hardened in tubes.

Very disappointed as their website let me order an item for my husband that apparently hasn’t been in stock for ages and then had to call to find out why they hadn’t turned up and was told I would have a refund on Friday but still haven’t had the money back and they weren’t answering the phone earlier so not sure if I’ve been scammed.

Still have not received the Reef Fanning flip flops to the U.S. I sent Dexters an email requesting a delivery date and tracking number. No response. At this point I really dont know what to think about it. The lack of communication is the most worrisome part.

Mail order issues, no one seemingly taking the bull by the horns until 2 weeks later. No order confirmation email other than a browser confirmation. Shipped with a compensatory gift but overall was a massive effort on my part.

Your website allowed me to purchase something that was out of stock, which left me with little time to acquire my grandson's Christmas gift. It also meant that I had to pay more. The one redeeming feature was a swift repayment of my money.

I bought a watch on line and if arrived very quickly. Communication was very good with up dates on my delivery. Will definitely shop at Dexter's again.

Very poor. No delivery despite expecting it within 3-5 days. Absolutely no contact from the shop despite repeated contact. No response to the web message service, no one answering the phone and several emails later and still no answer as to whether I will get a refund or my surfboard. This has now been going on for over 6 weeks and despite being very patient and regularly attempting contact and 6 emails later I am still out of pocket and with nothing to show. Do not recommend. Do not use this shop. Very poor service.

I placed an order online for a travel case that they said was in stock and paid for express delivery, The case was not delivered in the time scale and only after I called and left a message did I get an email telling me that it was out of stock. However when I looked on line again they were still saying it was in stock. I did receive a refund.
