The DTC Intensive Driving Courses are designed for those learners who have a valid UK provisional driving licence, passed their theory test and have already taken several driving lessons. These one-week pass courses are also suitable for international drivers, even if they have never driven in the UK before, learner drivers who have recently failed a practical test, and those who are almost up to the test standard. A week before my test the car I was using for my test I was no longer able to use, I had to urgently find a company for an emergency car hire for my test and Instructor to do a few hours with myself before hand. Yasin was very helpful and efficient. I passed with just a few hours he also taught me things which previous instructors didn’t (they didn’t work for this company).

Feb 15,2023Booked their services 7 days before my practical exam. I never had any instructors. I drove in my home country for 10years now so I had no plans of doing any lessons here in the UK. I just booked my practical exam hoping I can carry out everything I learned from Youtube. I Paid £111.50 to DTCUK and £100 to the instructor provided. They assigned me to an instructor 4days before the test who sent me a message to inform me of how things will go during the big day. I met with the instructor an hour before the test. We did some manoeuvres, drove around possible test routes, and gave me feedback on what areas I need to keep an eye on. But I was told I was a good driver and that I should be fine. And that absolutely boosted my confidence making sure I stick with the routines I already practice. Which I did. And eventually passed. The instructor then offered to drop me off to my place which was really nice. Overall, I absolutely recommend the services they offer!!

Feb 09,2023Called them on Thursday around 3pm as my test was the next day on Friday at 9am! I paid them and they found me a driver within less than an hour. Spoke to the driver and he gave me a link to read (show me/tell me questions) and we agreed a time to meet as my test was at 9am! He came to pick me up around 8am and we got straight to it I drove the car (as I was driving he started giving me pointers) to my local Lidl where we did a few manuvers (bay parking, parallel parking). He then gave me a run down on how the test would go, explained the show me/tell me questions, showed me how to put on the fog lights, how to open the bonnet, the dipstick etc (luckily it was a Nissan Nivea which I had driven before). Gave me a few more pointers and we headed to the test centre. The test went very well! Only lasted about 35mins and I passed the test! He then dropped me back at home! Couldn’t have asked for a better service as I had called them the day before my test and it was at 9am! I was definitely skeptical but once I spoke to them on the phone and they found me a driver my nerves were calm! Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a car for a test last minute!!

She is friendly, and over and above pointing out your mistakes, she will ask for your specific areas for improvement in order to help you succeed with the test. Feb 02,2023This is a scam. Do not go for it. They robbed me of £209! I had the worst experience with DTC UK provided trainer ‘Bill from LSM test hire, at Coventry driving test centre today. He didn't give me a chance to appear for the test. I told him that let them fail me but give me a chance, but he refused. And all this because he had a personal grudge against me. Yes, you may feel that it's my words against the word of driving instructor. But let me put forward my point of view. DTC sent me an email with a phone number. It was not mentioned in the email not to call. When I called that number, the instructor says “why did you call. It's common sense not to call. Are you stupid?” He was arrogant the entire time. I complained about it with DTC. They didn’t change my instructor. So, he took revenge on the test day. He messed up my test. He came for the test with a decision already made against me. And tried everything possible to make me suffer. He gave wrong instructions. He misguided me. He gave wrong road number to follow signs for which didn’t exist there. He gave instructions when I was in the middle of the roundabout. He asked me how many blind spots are there. When I said 2 and explained to him. He said you are absolutely wrong. How did you even dare to come for an exam. I told him about parallel park, bay park, reverse park and emergency stop. He still kept saying you are missing things. You are not ready for the test. I kept convincing him that I can do all this really well practically. But he didn’t give me a chance to do so. For practice of parking, he purposefully took me to an inclined road and busy road. Just so that he could say I have made a mistake. He kept confusing me and disturbing me while I was driving. I used to pause talking to focus on roundabout. He kept pinching why are you not answering. He kept bombarding me with questions but didn't see how I was driving. His focus was to fail me by asking questions but not on how I was driving. He succeeded. He used his power and misused it against me. I was helpless. He was demotivating me for entire 45 minutes. He did not give me the promised 1 hour session. I was polite entire time, but he was rude. Disrespectful. The following are some of his gems: • You're asking for my help. (Whereas we are paying for their services) • Educated people like you how can you act so stupidly. Condition of the car- 1. The clutch pedal was loose. 2. The gear shifting was hard. 3. The car was very very old 4. The car was in a filthy condition and was not maintained well 5. The AC wasn’t switched ON 6. The clutch setting was so bad that I had to pull my foot all the way up to make it move in 1st gear He also asked me to call my instructor from other town right in the middle of session. What's the point of availing this service if they're not allowing you to appear for the test. As I said at the beginning, it’s my word against his word. So, you are free to judge yourself. But I would strongly NOT recommend this service.

Mar 07,2023I used DTC to find me an instructor and a car for my test plus six hours warmup tuition all with about two weeks notice, for an area (Pinner) that I had no familiarity with. Apart from a slight hickup caused by sickness while finding an available instructor I had no problems with the service provided. The instructor (Amit) they provided was outstanding and I passed with two minor faults. He was punctual and very professional. So, while the service is not super cheap for the results i had, at such short notice it was good value. Everything advertised & promised was supplied to my satisfaction.
