Jun 03,2013I have been with the VIP Program for 4 months,and I don't know if it will be really efficient for me or not, but until now it's been very interesting. I agree with all the principles of "deep learning", I have been applying them, not only with the lessons I receive each month but also with the moviesI have on DVDs and with other audio recordings of I have been making by myself. And I have also bought the "Real Conversation" package. One thing I regret AJ Hog does not address is: How and WHERE to get audio recordings with progressive difficulties. In one bonus lesson AJ was giving us comments and explanations of Tony and Frank video. It was clearly at least one level above the one we have in our monthly lesson. I have posted this question on the forum, but no answer has satisfied me, and definitely no answer coming from AJ himself. One other thing: the monthly topic is often very interesting. In summary, a very interesting program!

Jun 03,2013Learning is funny because when i learn i know how to talk to people i like to learn but i don't have much time to learn because of working hard and i have health problem now i feel better. Thank you very much Effortless English to help me find the new way of learning is not only English but also help me taking care of myself, too. In the past i didn't read a lot after i learn from Power English i love to read and feeling happy to talk to people and i wish one day in the future i can change my job and use my license to work like American people.However,i am not giving up with my learning because i choose learning English as my job. Jun 02,2013I have studied English for 35 years with no gratificant results. I have felt frustrated though this time and I thought that I was fool because English did not come to my brain. A. J.'s approach to acquiring English is amazing!. I began to Listen and repeat real english (A. J.'s ministories) just two months ago. Now I felt confident, I felt strong, I felt powerful, I felt hoped, I felt sure about my future at last!. I have thrown away my textbooks. Jun 02,2013Hello! Let me share my experience with Learn Real English with you. Two years ago I was about to go to Canada to visit my boyfriend and stay for many months. The idea of being in a different country where people speak English made me start looking for some options how to achieve a good level of this language. I took out my old textbooks from school and began reading short conversations, repeating..but I could not hear because it was just a text. I also started filling out workbooks, browsing through my old exercise books with grammar explanations... It was all about memorizing grammar. It frustrated me. Then I went on the internet and typed some words into Google (like how to improve English, learn English at home or like that). This way I came across webpage Learn Real English where I read about this program and read lots of positive reviews from many people. I did not wait any longer and signed up for the program. I fell in love with A. J. Hoge’s English :) because I could understand him very good basically since first video/commentary. I wanted to know and learn more and more. Then I started receiving lesson sets. Meanwhile I came to Canada and I started combining 2 things: listening to lessons (stories) and practicing in a real conversation. I am living with Effortless English every day. First of all, it’s not about explaining grammar rules, but way more important about phrases, idioms, combinations of words that make sense. That’s a big difference compared to old school methods. Since I arrived in CA I’ve been working in childcare field where I need to talk a lot to kids. They need many explanations, stories, you learn from them, they learn from you. Eff.English has been helping me understand better things from language I hear while working because I keep coming in touch with them on a daily basis. It has happened to me many times that heard someone’s talk using phrases or idioms which I wouldn’t understand by translating word by word. Thanks to Eff. English I know what it means! I remember the day when my employer told me that I improved my English a lot. Also other people – Canadians told me the same. I recommended this method to my friends here. Of course we have to combine it with listening to/watching TV news, movies, reading....I can say that I feel more confident about speaking. Yes, there are some awkward moments when I may get into difficult conversation with somebody and my vocabulary and knowledge about the topic is not very good but I try not to make a big deal out of it. I always put my mind at ease and I tell myself I will get to this point, it will get better. I like reading comments of other VIP members that are very encouraging and give me some inspiration for my life. I am very grateful for discovering Effortless English program, A.J., Kristen and Joe, you guys are great!!

Even when you do other things, such as jogging, cycling and gardening is a great opportunity to improve your English by listening to Effortless English Mp3 files. Jun 01,2013I buy EE lessons for quite a long time. My English is much better, I'm much more confident speaking English, but I still buy them, because they are interesting and full of good energy. The idea of connecting people who are not aggressive, not presuming and focusing them on positive topics is great. Also spreading good energy and helping others giving good tips is always good idea. I already used many advices from lessons. So keep on going :-) I'm not an active member of EE VIP forum, but I still hope to join forum community more active.
