Established in 2007, Eldercare Group provides specialist, jargon-free advice about long-term care home funding and, where required, a project management service for families selling a property when a relative moves into a care home. We offer two core services: qualified financial advice to those looking for solutions to meeting on-going care costs, provided through the team at Eldercare Solutions, whilst Eldercare Property Partners can assist with all aspects of selling a property to move into care. Families have been benefiting from our advice and experience for over 15 years. We have won many awards over the years and all our advisers are members of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA). We are the Preferred Partner for care funding advice for many Care Providers and our advice can be accessed throughout the UK. It is a relief to have been able to protect a big part of Mum‘s estate from being eaten up by Care Home Fees. I highly recommend this company and that others consider this option even if they don’t take it. There is no obligation.

Dec 01,2022I found Eldercare via a link from our care home company website. Their video was very helpful. I rang and had a chat with Tracy, chewed it over and then decided to get the quotes. Having a centralised system for all four potential suppliers makes this process very smooth. We got four quotes and I received Eldercare's report which was very helpful. I had various questions to check my understanding and help me choose which option to go for. I emailed these questions to Nicky, received an initial response very quickly and then we talked about them over the phone. There was no pressure - it was advice rather than sales. The annuity has now been purchased and we are comfortable with our decision. I shall be recommending them to our IFA (who had limited experience of this very specialised area). Staff were available to speak to regarding any queries. 3 quotes were provided. Set up of annuity went very smoothly.

Nov 22,2022I was originally sceptical about buying an annuity to cover Mum's care home fees after she was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year. I needn't have worried! Nicky and the team were incredibly professional, knowledgable, understanding and patient whilst we tried to navigate a path through the process. They never put pressure on us and gave us the time we needed to make a decision. Since being in the care home, Mum is thriving and my sister and I are relieved that her future is now secure for the rest of her life.

Nov 04,2022My mum was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year and I approached Eldercare for advice on the best way to fund my mum's ongoing care whilst at the same time protecting as much as possible of her money once her property was sold. The staff of Eldercare have been understanding and patient with me (when I got stressed out!) , were very supportive and guided me through the process efficiently, even finding us a better quote at the last minute which saved us several thousand pounds! I can't thank Nicki, Roger and Tracy enough and would thoroughly recommend Eldercare should you consider an annuity route to fund the care of a loved one.

Oct 14,2022I was recommended to contact Eldercare to discuss a possible annuity to cover care home fees for my mother. The idea was to explore and understand what it was all about, how it worked and receive a no obligation quote from market leading companies. I spoke with Michael Hastings who from the word go was respectful, courteous and helpful. There was no pressure at all to proceed rather than a genuine willingness to help and explore options specific to our circumstances. Michael was professional and knowledgeable and able to empathise from his own experiences. All appointments were kept and calls made at agreed times and written quotes obtained with explanatory notes. Though we did not in the end proceed in our case, I would though recommend anyone seek help from Eldercare Solutions and would like to thank Michael again for his support and for his exemplary approach.

Jul 13,2022I quickly discovered that sorting out a Life Time Care Annuity Plan for my mother was one of the most stressful situations I have ever had to handle. When you consider that you are cashing in thousands of pounds worth of your mother’s stocks, shares, ISAs etc. to buy one single product with the aim of it providing Care Home fees cover for the remainder of your mother’s life, you suddenly realise you get one shot at purchasing the correct Annuity, or of making a complete mess of things and buying an Annuity which turns out to be “not fit for purpose”, mainly because of the many scenarios you did not have the knowledge to consider ahead of buying the product. Step in Eldercare Solutions Limited who, from my very first contact with them, made me realise there actually are people out there that you can rely upon and trust to do a good job with the combined best interests of you, your parents, their estate and, of course, their own company without weighting any decision unfairly on any one side. Eldercare guided me through the products available from four companies, gave me impartial advice on what might work, what events I might want to consider, what might happen in the longer term and how to minimalise the impact this may have on both the annuitant, their estate and family members and a raft of other circumstances I had not taken into account. I am delighted to say that through Eldercare’s excellent advice and professionalism, I am very happy with the type of Annuity I bought my mother which will pay her Care Home fees for the remainder of her life without any redress for funding from family members and has given all of us peace of mind. I opted for the slightly more expensive Annuity which pays a 6% price increase on the anniversary of the product which, having read the small print on the Care Home’s Residency Agreement, was needed to cover the Care Home’s standard annual 5.5% per care fee increase. Based on my experience, I would recommend using Eldercare to anyone wishing to purchase such an Annuity.
