Established in 2007, Eldercare Group provides specialist, jargon-free advice about long-term care home funding and, where required, a project management service for families selling a property when a relative moves into a care home. We offer two core services: qualified financial advice to those looking for solutions to meeting on-going care costs, provided through the team at Eldercare Solutions, whilst Eldercare Property Partners can assist with all aspects of selling a property to move into care. Oct 25,2021Eldercare provided a high standard of advice and support throughout the process of deciding how best to fund my father's ongoing care. A number of options were examined and Tracy did an excellent job in explaining the pros and cons of these and obtaining multiple quotations for a Deferred Care Needs Annuity. As a result I feel we were able to obtain the best overall solution for our specific situation.

Apr 30,2021Eldercare Solutions were recommended to me soon after my mother, at very short notice, went into temporary respite care following a series of bad falls. It was a sudden & traumatic experience for the family as it quickly became clear that she could no longer live independently, so respite immediately became residential care. The financial implications of care home fees were very considerable indeed. Eldercare Solutions provided us with a Care Fees Funding Report customised around my mothers age & financial circumstances, with three possible funding strategy options. We felt that a Deferred Care Fees Annuity on the quotation provided was potentially suitable, and Tracy at Eldercare put in much time & effort responding to my myriad questions and requests for a variety of escalation options. In the end, we felt that an annuity was not going to be in our best interests given my mother's age and circumstances, but arriving at that most difficult decision was very much informed by Eldercare's expertise. I was not put under any pressure to accept the annuity offer; to the contrary, Tracy emphasised throughout that if I didn't feel my mind to be at rest with the financial solution offered, it wouldn't be doing what its most intended to do: to bring peace of mind to the annuitant and the family. I would recommend Eldercare Solutions to anyone thinking about how to fund care fees and obtaining a range of strategies and quotations. They know the care fees market. And, importantly, they understand the dilemma facing you. Highly recommended.

I found him to be very professional, helpful and extremely knowledgeable around the subject of annuities. He was very patient in explaining the various plans and options available for consideration. Mike helped us to navigate our way through a bewildering maze of options and decisions for our mother, at what was a very difficult time, with enormous patience, clarity and care. At no point did we feel under pressure to buy a product: indeed we were left with the impression that the client's needs always came first. In the end, we purchased a 2-year deferred care fees annuity with complete confidence that this was the right product for our mother. All in all Eldercare was just a great company to deal with.

Dec 09,2021I received independent professional advice from Nicky Cave, a qualified regulated adviser who is also SOLLA Accredited (Society of Later Life Advisers). This is what all financial advice should be like and enabled me to purchase a care plan annuity on behalf of my aunt. Very helpful, with detailed knowledge on care fees funding and able to clearly explain the key points. Provided a detailed well informed report applicable to my situation including current state support funding that answered all my questions and gave me confidence to make the right decision.
