Dec 03,2020In 2018, we decided to purchase a second investment property in Dublin and this time got in touch with Eldron to discuss possibilities. Our past experience with the other agent for our first property had been positive, but our experience with Eldron, and Shane in particular, exceeded all our expectations. Immediately, I felt at ease speaking with Shane who gave honest, reliable warts-and-all advice with a really pleasant mix of friendliness and professionalism. With his help, we decided on a property, and he navigated us through the process. Of course, there were a few hiccups but Shane, with his expertise and can-do attitude, resolved these swiftly. Looking back, I can see how he shielded us from a lot of the stress and yet managed to keep us fully involved and informed at the same time (no mean feat). He also put his own back into some of the refurbishment work (rebuilding a garden fence) to keep costs down but this is just another example of how he is willing to provide outstanding customer service. Now he is building up his own in-house team of trades. I was so impressed by the service I received at Eldron that I transferred the tenancy management of our first property to Shane and his team as well. In the meantime, we have purchased a third property, which Eldron also sourced and now manages. I live abroad and previously felt vulnerable about making investments in property in Dublin, as I imagined it would be difficult to react when things didn't go to plan. Eldron assuaged those fears. A good business relationship is based on trust and I trust Shane and know that I can contact him at any time and he will get back to me promptly (usually within minutes). Eldron's focus is on the customer, and I can certainly vouch for that.

Nov 30,2020In May of this year we toyed with the idea of moving home. We had an area we would love to move to, but always thought it was beyond our budget. Not to mention with a new baby on the way, we though it was too stressful a time to move. But with the guidance of Shane and his team at Eldron, we are now living in our dream home! Shane met with us and talked us through our preferences and needs (adding a few things we hadn't thought about). He took over the process of finding the property, negotiating, investigating renovation costs, supplying us with details of solicitors, surveyors etc. The end result was us getting our dream home (cheaper than we anticipated), and his team we able to renovate at lightening speed (due to baby arrival). The process from start to finish was way beyond our expectations, and needless to say we are so grateful to have met Shane.

Nov 26,2020We were first introduced to Shane and his team at Eldron back in late 2017 and have been working closely with them since that time. Living in Sydney Australia buying property in Dublin is a challenge, and that’s before the consideration of dealing with banks. But it was something we were determined to do to give us a link to back home and avail of better rental yields than are available in the Aus rental market. We’ve now bought 2 properties through Eldron and our experience has been great. Aside from clear non emotional advice on suitable properties to consider, Shane has been able to negotiate hard on the properties so we have bought at a great price. In addition we’ve been able to utilize his team for renovations at both properties which were both done at or under budget and at extraordinary speed considering how difficult it is to pin down trades people when trying to manage this process alone. The comfort we got in both the purchase and the renovation, was in then knowing that Shane and his team would have the responsibility of finding and managing the property and the tenants renting them. Shane on a personal level is great to deal with and you feel he treats your investment as if it were his own. And his availability at all times of the day is a huge bonus for us especially with our time zone. Would I recommend Shane and Eldron to an investor or a family looking to source and develop a property? Absolutely, and without a doubt. By far the best property investment decision we have made. Nov 26,2020Highly Recommended Shane and his team at Eldron provided an exceptional service for us. We were living abroad and wanted a Dublin base. He suggested a property we had already seen online and discounted. Not only did he advise on this, he negotiated a price below asking. We needed to move in within a short period time and he and his fantastic team set about doing some renovations and he also co-ordinated with a design team. Nothing was a hassle, every question, query, worry was sorted promptly. He also helped us get our utilities and internet service set up. He goes above and beyond…sourcing and installing a fridge/freezer, TV, and kitchen appliances as we wanted them all changed before we came home. There were some anxieties on our part buying a property without physically viewing it. Shane had a calming influence and was very reassuring it would work out and he was true to his word that if something did not work he would sort it. I had a concern I got the right bed and refrigerator and he said he would swap them out should I needed to. I did not. He has a plethora of contacts and wonderful crafts people who were on hand to transform the apartment into a lovely cosy home. We found him to be extremely personable, genuine, and lives up to his mission statement to deliver a personal hassle-free service. We would highly recommend Eldron Property Consultants who did an amazing job of managing our project.

Luckily I managed to find Shane and the Eldron team who made that task seem effortless. They sorted out all that I need to buy a property and it was rented out from the day the keys were handed over. We had been recommended Shane and his team a year earlier, but thought we could go it alone ... turns out, we ran out of patience & time. Not totally convinced, we arranged to meet Shane for a coffee. May 23,2020Flawlessly diplomatic and effective, I cannot endorse Shane at Eldron Property Consultants highly enough. Shane and his team acted as property managers for our house in Dublin for over one year. As landlords we had not one repair or unaccounted for expense during that entire time. Toward the end of the lease agreement the coronavirus pandemic hit, upsetting our plans to vacate the property for renovation. Shane worked with the tenants to ensure that they all moved out, and rather quickly considering the unprecedented crisis (in the end it amount to just a 15-day extension of the lease). Shane also made sure we were still able to collect the bulk of the rent for the last several weeks. Given the difficulties of visiting the property during the travel restrictions, the fact that some Dublin tenants stopped paying altogether, and the reality that tenants could conceivably have squatted in the house for weeks or months more, Shane made sure that we got the best possible outcome as landlords.

May 20,2020After 6 months or so of wasting Saturday mornings going to open views, we contact Shane at Eldron. From the beginning, Shane and his team were so helpful and knew the type of property and the area in Dublin that we wanted to move to. Within a number of weeks, we were sale agreed on a property that we would not have been able to secure by ourselves. Buying a house is stressful enough, but Shane with his calm and common sense approach definitely made things a lot easier. I have no hesitation in recommending Eldron and if we ever decide to move again, his number would be the first I would call.

The property search itself went very well, with the video + voiceover format of prospective properties being very effective. Jun 05,2019We are Dublin locals and were searching for our first own property, Shane and Daniel helped us with the search. Although we engaged in property viewings ourselves their video recordings saved us a lot of time as we could rule out several options before viewing. Their remarks on the properties were also helpful, for example on one occasion they reassured us that we can find better - and they were right. They managed all communication with selling agents including bidding and also helped us with other aspects of the sales procedure. Although we had minor issues with communication (date of property inspection was miscommunicated, didn't receive info required for home insurance) in general they removed a lot of hassle from the procedure and we got the keys to a property we like.

May 20,2019My wife and I wished to locate and purchase a house in Dublin in 2018. As we were residing far from Dublin we knew we needed to secure the services of someone highly knowledgeable in the Irish real estate market, preferably someone used to dealing with non-resident purchases and property management. Eldron Property Consultants fit the bill perfectly! Shane and Daniel provided us with valuable insight into neighborhoods, potential issues with older/listed homes, and the whole closing process. Over the three months of searching we knew we were in good hands, and Shane and/or Daniel personally visited and videotaped several potential properties for us. Once we settled on a house in Blackrock Shane's real estate prowess really came to the forefront, as his negotiation tactics netted us a sale well under asking and on terms favorable to us. Given the price charged by Eldron for their services I know we got a top quality service at a very affordable price. But Eldron's role did not stop there. Once we closed I flew up to spend a couple days in the property and check it out more thoroughly for myself. Shane had the foresight to leave an inflatable mattress for me to us - I didn't even have to ask. He and Daniel organized a series of contractor appointments into my tight schedule in Dublin. Having helped us buy a house, Eldron then worked as our property manager. Despite an initial estimate of roughly 3,500 euros/month in rent, Eldron got us 4,050/month on a one year lease (which is what we wanted). I know that Shane worked overtime to get us the max price, and also to make sure we had the proper insurance coverage for the property and rental. Shane even agreed to forego a few months of management fees in order to secure the type of tenancy we sought, and he negotiated the tenant pay for the annual insurance premiums. Really, it could not have been better for us financially. Shane did back-flips to make the tenancy happens under those terms. Overall, considering the various phases of engagement with Eldron - house search, market advice, price negotiation, finding tenants, property management - I can only give this agency the highest possible marks for performance! I STRONGLY encourage anyone living outside Ireland to work with Eldron for their property needs. I want to personally thank Shane and Daniel for all their hard work.
