Sep 29,2021I have been using this software for a few years now and have never had any issues. You do have to buy a new license every year (or in my case remind them you have a lifetime license). Their site is full of resources to help you decrypt and convert your purchased ebooks. The software is rather easy to use. Just drag and drop. If you want more control over the books you purchased or need to move from a Kindle to another reader, this software is a must.

Sep 28,2021I purchased KCR converter from this company last year. Soon after the purchase company declared that this product no longer works. I reached out to the company about it thinking for money return. Instead they offered me license of epubor ultimate. I thought it was a good gesture from company, only to find out few months later that they provided me time limit license of this alternate product. Now they don't want to extend the license asking me to pay full again. Extremely poor and felt cheated by them.

Sep 27,2021I grabbed this for some ebooks and it's worked great. It does suck that there isn't a free trial or a shorter payment option besides one year, but it was very easy to use and worked great.

Sep 25,2021Yesterday, 2 books fully converted freely. Today, only 20% of book converted. At least it didn't seem to have any malware, but to say it is free is definitely false advertising.

Sep 23,2021The program allowed me to freely convert 20% of one e-book. Then it said if I wrote a positive and verified review, commented on their youtube, or translated an article for them (etc.) I could get the program for free. At least it didn't seem to have any malware, but to say it is free is definitely false advertising.

Sep 10,2021I have been struggling for hours trying to read my kindle book on Linux (the particular book doesn't work in kindle cloud reader). The only solution I've found that works is Epubor! I installed Epubor on a Windows computer, and was finally able to decrypt my book and copy it to Linux. I appreciated that I got both EPUB and PDF versions. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because of the cost.

Oct 10,2021It is a little finicky to convert from amazon ebook to other formats because you have to download and downgrade your kindle ebook reader. However, it does work and is very useful to anyone who wants to convert books they own to another format. I plan on using the book to train a machine learning model and there is really no alternative to using Epubor to export books on amazon cloud to any other format. The only reason I give it 4 stars is not because of the monetization scheme of the program, but because they incentivize people to leave reviews in exchange for a temporary license key. The site says "All reviews, good, bad or otherwise are welcome." As a developer I understand it can be hard to gain trust for a product that is on a legal boundary and could be used maliciously if someone were trying to do something malicious (in this case pirate ebooks). However, I do not think this is the way to do this. Instead, why not promote antivirus scans showing the product is safe?
