I thought that I booked 2 airline tickets on specific dates, with no refund if I wanted to change them. I had clicked on the link for baggage specifications, so I thought we were fine there. Then I began getting phone calls that were labeled Spam Risk. I allowed the caller to leave a voicemail. On the 2nd call, they left a 7sec opening with no voice. Today's call left a 15 sec message that alerted me that I needed to call them because my tickets were "on hold." I called and the conversation took an hour and a half. They told me that I had bought "promotional" tickets, that I could take no luggage at all, not even a personal item, that the ticket dates were not guaranteed and could be vastly different from what I booked, and that I would have to change dates and pay more to allow us to have luggage and confirmed dates. There were so many red flags, even with our credit card company. In the end, we paid the original amount, plus $400.83 and had to return a day late. My husband would miss work. When they summed up the charges, interestingly enough, the original charge was going directly to the airline, and the extra $400 was going to All Season Decomparts, or something that sounded like that. I'm very skeptical of this business model and will never repeat this experience.
