Feb 19,2025Shame this company hasn’t got it together to organise the important part of their sales process. They use DHL or DPD neither of which employ persons who can use an open door. DHLs convenient collection points is about 60 miles away in a nearby city. While I live on a high street surrounded by collection points and attended by couriers who never fail to deliver items to the premises by using their initiative and, presumably, an intention in actually doing the think they’re being paid to do flatspot seem to prioritise this part of the customer service experience very low indeed. Disappointing, as a loyal customer who regularly shopped with them and a huge trainer fan, that they blamed me for not suggesting to these van drivers (for that is all they can accurately be called) that they could TRY THE DOOR which is open and used by other delivery people who successfully do their jobs all the time. UPDATE FROM FLATSPOT WHICH IS FALSE “I have checked your postcode and there are a few DHL collection points nearby, I am sorry if you were not given this option and we are also disappointed by this. I have contacted our DHL Accounts Manager regarding this as a matter of urgency.” I know how to search the DHL pickup points using my postcode and the closest one is about sixty miles away or a two hour round trip. I will be switching to Route One to avoid passive aggressive communications from a company who cannot get it together to accept responsibility or keep their customers. The folk who pay their wages. Mind blowing. Your apologies are meaningless when accompanied by “I looked and you’re wrong “ messages.
