Course was easy to navigate and the content was relevent to my role
Informative
each quiz seems to vary, some quizzes say you have 2 try's at the question, but then moves straight on if you get it wrong. Some questions are worded clearly, e.g if there is more then one answer needed. Other quizzes give you a review at the end to show you where you were right or wrong. this function is very good as it allows you to process what you did wrong.
Very informative and lots of useful information
Coming from a nonmedical background i was able to learn things that will help me to carry out my care work effectively bearing in mind that while administering medication to service user the service user has the right to refuse medication and when this happens the steps to be taken. i also learnt the importance of carrying my employers along regarding whatever difficulties i may face with the service user. i also learnt the importance of keeping records of the service user medication as this will show the medications used and when it was used last. also, a proper record keeping helps to know when to call the GP for a re-order of a replacement as the case maybe. It is against the law to force the service user at any point or to hide the medication by putting it inside food without his consent or where the service user is not able to make decision there should be a formal meeting between the family of the service user, the GP and the carer before medication can be hidden in food before administration. this meeting should be recorded as well.
