Plumbing leaks affect 1 in 12 dwellings every year. Catastrophic leaks often begin as a small, undetected drip. These plumbing failures devastate lives, result in billions in insurance claims annually and can cause long term damage including mold infestation. The FloLogic smart water valve constantly monitors your plumbing system and senses leaks as small as a half-ounce per minute or as significant as a broken pipe, then automatically shuts off your water to prevent water damage.
Known as “the circuit breaker for every plumbing system®,” the innovative and patented FloLogic System enables home and business owners to greatly reduce or eliminate the economic and personal loss associated with plumbing failures. The FloLogic System has received numerous awards and accolades, including “Best of What’s New” award by Popular Science magazine and "One of “Top 100 Products” by Building Products magazine. The FloLogic System was featured in "This Old House" magazine “Smaller Safer, Smarter” and featured on “Ask This Old House” television program.
Best thing since the invention of water and dirt. It saved us from home flood damage twice. $15,000 was my cost for the first flood in 2001 that convinced us we needed SOMETHING to give us peace of mind. I can't say enough GREAT things for this system and for the PROFESSIONAL customer service/technical assistance. It's a system that shuts off your water immediately after sensing water flow, NOT after water is all over your floors. I have recommended FloLogic to many many people that are also thankful for having this tremendous system. Call me anytime to discuss this product. Bill 727-743-5836.
Our flow logic processor was initially introduced to us through our insurance company. Since it's been installed, and fortunately we haven't had any major leaks. The flow logic controller has help us an identifying toilet issues which has help us with water conservation .
This product works and will say you a lot of aggravation . Water leaks will happen and this product is the answer
I have two homes and Flologic has saved us at. We used to rent a few years ago. FloLogic went off when an illegal rental tenant turned on the water. FL was in the "away" mode. They called OUR management company asking why there was no water. That led to the police visiting. As it turned out, the Rental company got caught renting our place one extra day without our knowledge; hence they would have picked up the entire rental for one day vs a commision only on that extra day.
Chuck is readily available to resolve any issues I may encounter with keypad
The system works well. It has been triggered fairly often by running toilets: a minor annoyance. On 2 occasions with more complex problems I have been given prompt help by phone.
We haven't had any leaks since we installed the FloLogic unit, AND - as a bonus - it has stopped running toilets from running long term and thereby "notified" us to make adjustments. A GREAT and reliable product! We've had ours for more than 10 years!
We have 2 units on different properties. I have recommended to people that have bought it and are very happy as well. After a $ 130 k water disaster we bought our first one. It has save us 3 times that we know of in our retail clothing store. On our ranch we have it at the very first foot of service because the irrigation is so complex it has saved us thousands of dollars and because we are in a drought area saved our relationship with the water resources people.
Always in operating condition with no flaws
It is frustrating to see the message come up on the monitor "Disabled Check P5". Which in the past has meant replacing the sensor. This is not an inexpensive situation. What can be done to prevent this failure from happening?
I Had a first generation flologic, spent big money and after warranty expires the valve quits working, the flow meter quits working. no way to replace it, no warranty so junk it is!!
Unless you put the Flologic at a high level it shuts off the water constantly when least expected. There has to be a manner in which it would be able to monitor the flow of water and tell the difference over a time certain whether or not it is a leak or shower??
Flow logic alarms indicated a very low volume but persistent leak. That led to watchfulness so that as soon as the volume was sufficient for the leak detection company to locate the leak we had it repaired. That preceded any show of water in the house...leak was in a manifold on the slab so that at low volume the leakage was running back into the ground. Without the Flologic we would have discovered the leak by water penetration of the walls, with attendant damage.
Now, when we are away for even a few hours, we have the comfort of knowing that unwanted water flow will be stopped.
This is a great devise. I works perfectly anc provides complete peace of mind
The battery wore out and I replaced it but I have not got the system to start working again. I bought 2 different batteries and the system simply will not accept them. Waste of money except that I needed to install it for insurance because of previous flood.
I did not get the Internet option because my plumber said it was not reliable. Otherwise the unit works perfectly and gives me peace of mind when I am away.
After seeing a neighbor with undermined foundation and another whose house had to be gutted after an upstairs bathroom leak, I decided to install FloLogic whole house water shutoffs in two houses. We have never had a problem. Solid engineering and trouble-free operation for eight years.
We had a Flo-Logic installed after having a hot water pipe leak in our crawl space while on vacation. The leak caused warping of hardwood floors, doors, and created mold that had to be professionally removed under the supervision of an environmental engineer. The device has served us well with the only problem being an occasional shut down when the water softener is working. I have recommended Flo-Logic to all of my friends, family, and real estate business associates.

Mar 01,2017Flologic was installed in a new vacation rental home 8 years ago. No issues or repairs. It stopped water flow a couple times due to a toilet flapper not being fully closed. Water would have run continuously for several weeks while the vacation home was vacant. Water / sewer bill would have been way more than the cost of Flologic. Set it and forget it.
